It appears I was right about Johan being the Monster, but where is his sister and what are his plans going forward?!

You are getting maybe too good at guessing plot twists in anime. You calling Johan out in the first episode was so chilling. (Or was it second episode 🤔)

Junkers is a German name, which means the J is pronounced more akin to a Y sound. Sort of like how Jormungand is pronounced. Also you've gotta admit that the story Tenma told them is pretty unbelievable. An evil child that's grown up to hire three men to kill four elderly, childless couples without any apparent motive? Though I will admit if Tenma told them the names of Junkers' Associates they probably could've found their bodies pretty quick. There can't be that many guys named Boris in Germany, while Fritz is a more common name, they were already tracking down criminals known to kill with a knife. That would've narrowed their list pretty significantly. Narrow it further down to people Junkers was known to have done time with or have been known to hang around with and you've got your stiffs.

IDK. I personally felt like it wasn't really that big of a plot twist and pretty easy to figure out. He's definitely good at figuring thoughts out though.

Yea, I definitely understand their reticence at believing a story like that. My concern was that they’d just write him off as someone trying to save his own ass, and not follow up on his leads. 😊

Remember that we have the added insight of Tenma's perspective. We know that everything he is telling detective Lunge is true but consider what it looks like from his perspective. Tenma had been demoted days prior to the killing and had a personal grudge against all those killed 9 years ago. Not only that but he is the only person who benefited from their deaths. That's a really strong motive and motive is one of the biggest factors in identifying a criminal. Then an officer dies in the same way as 9 years ago and the only eyewitness Lunge has is killed. Then when you interrogate your biggest suspect he gives you a story saying that a 9-year-old kid poisoned 3 people with a muscle relaxant, something used by doctors to put patients to sleep for operations, right after having an operation on his brain. Quite frankly if you didn't know it was true it would sound beyond absurd. I think Lunge has every reason to see Tenma as his prime suspect despite how much I didn't want him to be.
