The way i see it, Crocodile might not like Luffy, but Luffy did help him and he hates the government far more. So that is my explanation for why he saved Luffy.

Curtis, is it possible for you to switch to the subs you watched in the previous episode? (ep 486) that was wayy more accurate than the sub you normally watch. I have rewatched and also read One Piece so many times, and imo the current sub you usually watch mistranslates a lot of dialogue. I got used to it, but it was very noticeable this episode again, since you watched good subs in the previous episode

I'm confused as to how Ace died, as Crocodile, Megallan, Magma Boy, and Ace seemed to be able to use their devil fruit to have the damage phase through or to reconstruct themselves. 🤔
