For me Cuphead is one of those characters that I started to like more and more even though the character itself didn’t change much if not at all.

I recently, like past couple of days, was drilling a hole into a metal frame at work. One of the hot chips of metal bypassed my safety glasses and hit me in the corner of my eye. It didn’t get stuck in my eye, was easy to flush out, but I feel for Eyeball here.

The thing that makes me like Cuphead, is that, over time I began to realize... he has conviction. He may be crazy and selfish, but he's committed to it. He's not like the 7th Espada, whom did as he pleased, then begged for mercy at the end. Cuphead doesn't beg for mercy. He either takes matters into his own hands... or he just dies. I may disagree with his direction, but I admire his conviction and independence.

In case you forgot Curtis hollows have to eat humans in order to survive, oh and cup heads nemus creator/father when he beat her down(inexcusable) he felt insulted that his creation would suggest that she’s dying from a “small injury”because of his pride as a scientist. she’s like his greatest creation

what eye guy is referring to is that hollows have to eat souls to live, so for the shinigami to interfere with that is upsetting the natural order of things, there are humans who are perfectly capable of fending off hollows, like chad or quincy, so the way it should work is that weak humans get eaten by hollows and strong humans fight back, just like it works in nature, what eye guy doesn't understand is that that is not how it works, there always has to be a balance between souls and humans who fight hollows, especially the quincy, destroy the souls of the hollows they kill, which upsets the balance, shinigami can kill the body, but leave the soul in tact, allowing it to reincarnate. basically i have to agree with eye guy here, not because i think he's right, but because of brother kuchi being a dick by not explaining it.

Its only living humans with strong spiritual power and wandering souls that get devoerd, and I think its only the mindless first stage hollows that feel compelled to feed in the human world, they are just beasts, and its ok to kill beasts to help the helpless. My lore is a bit fussy. But once you become a menos grande you start eating other hollows to survive and evolve. Once you get to that stage i dont think you enter the living world. It makes sence sine Nel and her subordinets survived this long and are still alive and kicking. Also, hollows also enter into the soul society so that gves them the right to defend themselfs aswell, wich i think why they made the military aswell.

Yeah, Mayuri's abuse was out of frustration and disappointment. He cares more about Nemu, than about himself. Which is why he made her so hard to kill. Even if he cut her in half, she wouldn't die and he has that regenerative medicine too, just in case.

So humans are randomly victimizing animals because they eat them. Hollows eat humans for food what he is bringing up is what gives the SS the right to kill hollows when its just in their nature to eat humans. Souls Society is basically PETA attacking people in grocery stores based on the analogy.
