4 kids, when they were airing One Piece, skipped Laboon and made him an iceberg that Luffy destroys. So needless to say it's a good thing they didnt make it to here or else they would have had to do some major plot hole fixing lmao.

When Brook said: "What right do I have to decide he's not still waiting?" It literally brought a tear to my eye. The first time I watched this show, I really didn't want to accept Brook, because we had been with all the other members for so long, but, he quickly became one of my favorite characters. He's so understanding and empathetic of other people, yet, can also be completely serious when it's called for. Because he's so old, he has an incredible sense of what situations should be met with happiness and laughter, and what situations require absolute determination.

Btw, in terms of age, those three, there in that scene, are the oldest of the crew. Brook 88, Franky 34, and Robin 28. To put that into perspective, the next oldest are Zoro and Sanji at 19.

The reason that Oda doesn't kill characters off is that he loves to bring them back when you least expect it and you can't exactly bring them back if they're dead (I can already hear Brook's laugh).
