I would say that High School DXD would be comedy, so I'd give that #1. As far as comedy, though, Nichijou is not far behind and Konosuba here is climbing the ranks. :-)

In my opinion kazuma kind of runs this show because all of the comedy comes from his interpretation of the girls and his interactions with them plus hes the only normal person out of the group so you see everything through him just my opinion tho

Aqua is the most realistic depiction of narcissistic women in any anime. Their flaws make them realer/more lovable. Compare them to women like in full metal alchemist, sweet winry, hawkeye riza, general armostrong etc.. They have quirks but not glaring character flaws that are basically mental illness. FMA plays out like an awesome movie. But this plays out like assholes just being themselves around each other and that gives you something you wont get in most other anime. And kazuma is very logical so its interesting to see a normal self serving guy try and deal with anime bullshit lol

Hey Curtis 2 things: 1- You should watch the OVAs of Konosuba, they are really funny. 2- Try to react to Gigguk's video on konosuba after ur done with the series

Konosuba is more of a sitcom than adventure. The humor is based on their interactions and reactions to their situation rather than plot progression. And the eccentric characters are good counters to each other, with the voice actors putting in the effort as icing on the cake.
