If you like this, I think you'd like Hinamatsuri. Same kind of thing except its with a girl that has telekinesis and the new dad is a Yakuza gang member. More on the comedy side, but also heartwarming at the same time.

Stories like this prove exactly why Anime is a medium not a genre. There is just as much variety in anime as there is in any other medium, and every single one of the anime genres has some really great shows.

I like this one, seems like a good anime to watch when I feel down, like Hinamatsuri without the psi powers lol, or Laid Back Camp, now that one was cute

One more thing I want to say. Curtis I love the adventure/action/titty anime your reacting to I really do but you should watch other genres. There are allot more and some of them are wonderful and they hit you in the feels and some even make you cry like a little bitch "cough" clannad "cough" and some just make you feel good. So all I am saying is to broaden your view a little bit more on anime genres. I know you have allot on your plate already with these series your reacting to but whenever you get tired of watching just action/adventure/titty anime react to these types of anime because watching you react so intently to usagi drop made me realize that you would enjoy those types of anime. It's not always about the tits, the punches, the douchbags, evil villains or plot. Sometimes it's just about life and again I am not complaining about what you're reacting to I'm just suggesting for you too open up to more of these types of anime and us here to as well. I believe there's many of us here that want Curtis to react too this types of anime but we don't recommend it because some think it's just about action/adventure/titty. So thank you enzonator for suggesting this anime to Curtis and for bringing in Curtis to other types of anime. Sorry for the long comment by the way

Haha, the cat is out of the bag. That's my main reason for upgrading from $20 to $100. I mean he deserves even more in my honest opinion due to the positive impact he has on my life. In the end it's more of what the majority wants to watch. By requesting these kind of shows I'm trying to get that spark going where it doesnt have to all be shounen and move to other genres since there's such a large variety of anime which is so awesome! I was eventually going to recommend Clannad cause I really want to see him cry lol. I'll be messaging Spaz Dad in the next few days and try to get next month's vid planned out. I'm kind of thinking of a series like GTO. It's like perfect for him lol.

I'm pretty sure the last time someone asked this was on my Top 5 Anime List. I love this series, it's so sincere and charming. And handles the bachelor/bachelorette suddenly becomes a parent, scenario a thousand times better than any American film you could probably name. Honestly if anyone I knew was ever thinking about having a kid, I would have them watch this Anime as homework. It's by no means a training tool, but it does make you think about the responsibilities and curveballs that parenthood would no doubt throw at you. Also Reina is a little witch at age 6, her poor mother should be nominated for Sainthood for putting up with that.

TBH honest, I’d like Curtis to watch this entire series. I love these kind of anime sometimes even more than the Shonen. Hopefully you consider having him finish this series Enzonator. Definitely worth the watch, probably my favorite Gooshed recommendation thus far!

This is one of the most heart warming anime out thier, you feel the bond in this show as the episodes go on and by the time it’s over, you be begging for more episodes.

Unfortunately, we had 2 or 3 short series that got mixed into the stack of 1550 vids I have on a portable drive. The vids are all unmarked, so until I can go through and identify all those vids, Usagi Drop isn’t back up yet. 😞
