Big Fuze

Hey sorry if this is too personal , I totally get it but you recently talked about your work life balance in a post and was wondering if you got to play video games very much or if you like to at all ?

agoodwintv

I used to play games a lot but it's been a while. A big part of it is that I was always a console gamer and it's harder for me to justify getting one when I move around so much. But there's a long list of games I need to play one day when I get the chance.

The title might make more sense without the x's, haha. The original Japanese just says "an important interview" ('taisetsu na mensetsu.' Ehh? Get it? 'setsu'? Setsu?)

If you're interested in getting back into gaming, you should look into the steam deck, most AAA titles can run on it well, and pretty much all indies are perfect on it. It essentially gives you console-like gaming but portable, and it also has some built in stuff that makes emulating super easy to play retro games, if you're into that. It also hooks up to monitors/tvs and bluetooth controllers super easily. Highly recommend if it piques your interest!

You might have realized it already, but Killua didn't necessarily want to fight Gon. The first answer is to the question 'who're you looking out for/who interests you most?' This is pretty vague and can be interpreted a lot of different ways, but it doesn't completely translate into someone you want to fight. A couple of people had the same answer for both questions, after all. Though, he also didn't say he'd least want to fight Gon, so he probably is somewhat interested in seeing how such a fight would go.

Hanzo (The bald ninja) had four tags, three worth only 1 point and his own worth 3, which means he never found the other tag Killua threw that he needed LOL

I think Netero's interview with Hisoka tells us a lot about both characters, as well as the Hunter Association as a whole. Regarding the Association, it's been clear for a while that morals are not a deciding factor for becoming a hunter, but seeing Hisoka literally say that he wants a license so he can kill people, to the chairman of the Hunter Association is wild. And Netero literally didn't even have a reaction, he was just like, "ok, next question". Hisoka even basically threatens Netero and he doesn't bat an eye. I swear both of them have got something busted in their heads.

I knew id love your reaction to this show, great discussions as always!

Chris Sharpe

I love a lot of your insights on the characters we see, these reactions are incredible. It’s interesting to see how the Hunter Exam seems whimsical while watching it, but is unexpectedly sinister. I suppose many would say the same of the show, so this first arc is an incredible start to the show.

If you're also wondering whether or not you will see the hunter that poisoned Gon again: Let's just say in the manga Hisoka doesn't return his entire body to show Gon..

Timo

Just commenting to say again that I'm loving this reaction series, and each episode I can't wait for you to get to all of the later arcs that are to come :)
