The real question at the heart of Vinland Saga is... how did Arnheid get Garder under the bed? Did she use her Thorfinn-level strength to lift it? Or did she just roll him under there?

When your loved one is near death you likely would get that adrenaline kicking in, and you wouldn't have to lift it entirely just enough to slip Gardar under. Sverkil seems pretty frail so likely not super heavy. I feel like it's reasonable for her to lift it When humans panic/are in danger they're capable of some pretty crazy things. I've read stories about mothers who get crazy moments of adrenaline when they're trying to protect their kids for example
