In the past seasons Hinata receives the ball in unconventional ways (i.e., face, chest, face, balls, face, did I say face?). Never has he properly received or dug a ball with the typical platform you make with your arms together lol So he's finally trying to get better and focus on a foundational skill for volleyball rather than focusing on his usual standout, smash-the-ball moves!

I’ve always said this about haikyuu.. yes we have antagonists. By its very nature, a story about sports will always have antagonists, and rivals but there are no villains in this story. I think there’s a difference between the two. There’s never true malice in this story.
