THE GIRLFRIEND/ISLAND/NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE STORY MAKES A COMEBACK. I'm not even joking, this is how I recommend the channel: "It's TV reactions with really in-depth character and theme analysis throughout. He extracts a lot of really applicable life lessons, and there's a TON of running jokes. His life experiences are crazy too. Like, the man swam to an island carrying his now-girlfriend, almost DIED, pushed back only one video upload, and then related it flawlessly to an All Might lesson," I freaking love that story. God I love this first ED so much both visually but mostly because of the song. I think its a lot better than the OP.

weird the demons in the dub sound very human unlike in the sub where they sound like actual demons we'll get answers as we go :3 also don't worry about learning names, there's like a bajillion characters @.@

What really struck me about this series was Tanjiro's introspection/inner monologues. The way he describes what he's going through during his training and during battles, the pain that he is experiencing, and how he always resolves to persevere in spite of the sheer agony of it all was really gripping to me. There's something about it that's so driven and pure that you can't help but root for and empathize with him. It's not as though you don't get this with other protagonists, but something about Tanjiro's trials really hit different for me. That being said I'm really looking forward to hearing your perspective on it all!

tanjiro sniff powers are the weirdest powers i’ve seen in anime. im not sure the anime has even explained how he has them. he can straight up sniff what a person’s personality is.

Yeah they are so good. Especially when we get over to the sub, Tanjiro's character is just so hard not to root for. I love when he says this episode that he will buy Nezuko a beautiful kimono and give her all the love and affection that he would've given to his entire family. Its so tragic and beautiful at the same time.
