Can’t believe this is finally it. 113 episodes of MHA watched. Highly anticipating your reaction to the recent third movie in the next couple months, who knows when it will hit streaming/digital services but whenever it does you should totally check it out.

Well, congratulations Goodwin, you’re officially all caught up on MHA, the anime that is. Now you have to wait for season 6 like the rest of us. Believe me when I say that next season might wind up being the shows best yet! Cause next season comes the biggest, craziest, most dramatic, most action packed arc of the entire saga thus far! It’s going to make up most of if not all of the season. So brace yourself, for the Paranormal Liberation War… In the manga the arc clocked in at 54 chapters, longest of the story. And season 5 has adapted about 5 or 6. So there’s still a lot to cover. Hence why it’s going to take a little while longer to come out, Bones probably wanted the extra time to get it right. Here’s to October for MHA’s and Bleach’s return!

Also for the people that had issues with the behind the scenes production and adaptation with Season 5, the OG Director and Animation Lead from Season 1 and Season 2 of MHA is coming back to Direct and animate Season 6. So we should be seeing a return to the best of the best quality when it comes to Studio Bones animation. That combined with what manga readers keep hyping everyone up about has me insanely excited for this new season. October can't come soon enough.

I just love how Bakugo can’t forget about Todoroki’s sister. It's hilarious that the three characters in this show that Bakugo respects the most are: the greatest hero in history, his first hero mentor, and Todoroki’s sister.

yes the third movie but it isnt out on digital yet cuz it recently came out in theatres. itll be a couple months at least before he can watch it.

I'll miss this so much, but I also can't wait for the movie reactions! Fun fact about Laundry Hero Wash, though I'm not sure we'll see it in season 6, so here's a spoiler free reason he's #8 - partly popularity, but also partly because his role in rescue is actually so important. He controls bubbles of any size and unlimited (as far as we know) number, and uses them for evacuation (because they don't break even while carrying heavy objects), defence, and disinfecting wounds. His personality is also top tier. He doesn't get much screentime but he's kind of like the best small time character among the big time pro-heroes.

Also - it'll be nice that the wait for season 6 isn't TOO long since it's this year, but also the Blu-Ray for World Heroes Mission is coming out in February so hopefully it'll only be less than a month before you jump onto it after watching the first two movies. I always love the shot of the kid having the Endeavor doll showing that new era of inspiration, BUT at the same time, he looks to All Might's statue for motivation proving Aizawa's statement that his presence is enough to inspire greatness.

I... I can't believe it's over. I'm going to miss your MHA videos but hey it won't be that long until a new season. I agree MHA has helped inspire me a lot on a personal level. Amajiki in particular gave me perspective on the idea you can be weak but still stand. I don't know where we are going next but look forward to it.

I really hope even though it didn't even make the vote, that on your own time you check out Tiger and Bunny. It genuinely is in line with My Hero, but with its own unique spin. My Hero is more of its spiritual successor than the other way around, especially with how it was received in Japan. It can also fill your time because new season is coming out in April :P Japanese superhero anime fandom is extremely excited for it, which you can tell because the English announcement got only hundreds of likes on Twitter, but the Japanese announcement got over 40k likes in the first six hours.

Your soliloquy after the episode was amazing. I really enjoyed it because it's a concept which I've also been learning over the past few months. We are oriented by what we aren't, not by who we are. This isn't to say that who we currently are isn't important because choosing to go forward, choosing to strive towards an ideal requires an understanding of where you've been. Our goal should be expressing the best version of ourselves moment to moment to moment. I'm very grateful to have experienced this show with you and this community.

My Hero Academia has taken the cake for me overall as my favorite anime. I think it's such a great show for both people looking for a deeper narrative and things to latch onto and people just looking for fun shonen action. Studio Bones makes this show always look so good and the characters and quotes have given me thoughts and changed into actions in the way that only one other show has done for me being Haikyuu. So excited to potentially see what you watch next. Your discussion about shows and insight into small details of a character despite them seeming hollow is honestly so kind and beautiful to watch and I'm excited to see what you do with characters from the upcoming shows :)

ah, the struggle of trying to enjoy the wholesome stuff while MVA is playing on a loop in the back of your mind and you know a storm is coming... I do love that we periodically check in with All Might and how he is feeling/developing. He has taken a backseat compared to earlier seasons, but there's a lot going on there that's worth diving into, I'm glad we still do. You have a right to that denial btw, I think the more pressing question is "how far has/is Hawks willing to go in pursuit of this mission?" anyway. So it's over for now, what a great ride! Loved hearing your thoughts and your enthusiasm for the show! I'm looking forward to the next journey.

MHA wildly exceeded my expectations and I feel so lucky to have had the chance to watch it! A friend of mine expressed surprise at the fact that I enjoyed it so much yesterday. But I think if the viewer can get past the preconceptions and baggage that shounen carries, there's so much there.

A lot of episodes suffer from low budget and time constraint issues due to the problems with this seasons behind the scenes. One of it not the biggest consequence of these issues was the character designs.

God, the fact that we're done with this show (for now) feels surreal! I mean I almost looked at the clock waiting for the next MHA reaction but no, it's over now, wow. This has been amazing. And as a manga reader, even I'm not ready to see season 6... and I have to believe that Bones will do the manga justice next season. Reliving MHA with your commentary was fantastic btw!

I can't wait for you to see World Hero Mission! As my second anime movie seen at the theater (after Heroes Rising), it blew my expectations away and even topped Heroes Rising imo.
