Update: Confidence talk real good me like yes yes. Sorry, I don't have the energy to write a long comment about why I appreciated what you said. But I definitely did appreciate it! (regarding the talk about thinking confidence into existence vs acting towards it) It was very relevant to me right now 15:50 pog face in response to Bakugo speaking up. I'm telling you that entire episode with Deku and Bakugo has affected them both deeply and I love it.

I think I read somewhere before that Deku's tie is shorter because he doesn't know how to tie it right. Idk if that's canon but it makes sense.

So in the manga, MHA Vigilantes (which is apparently a canon prequel to MHA), they go more into detail about these quirk enhancing drugs and it's actually a major plot point in the manga. If it ever gets turned into an anime, it's definitely worth your attention to check out.

I love the contrast between kirishima and the villain because it shows one person working hard to improve his quirk (kirishima) and the other using drugs to improve his quirk and hard work always prevails

I love the episodes that focus on "side" characters.. Some of my favorite things about anime in general when I first got into it with DBZ was that the main character didn't always have to be the strongest in the "good" group. I think moving away from a singular focus and making multiple bad ass protagonists in a show is an upgrade.

Yea I’m a deku fan but believe me when i say mirio legit is the one for one for all, or would be, however i do agree with you with how deku isn’t going to be the next all might this story is how deku is going to be the best version of a hero in his own doings along with all the things he take with him from the experiences he has with other people, and im glad to say i believe deku will create his own original story

Great point. Maybe there's also a parallel between the drug-using villain and Tamaki? They both suffer from insecurity and self-doubt but one handles it by succumbing to shortcuts and the other does not.

Kirishima deserves the world. And I love Bakugo's speech, he really learned a lot after and during his fight with Deku (and throughout being in UA overall) and it's been confirmed that he got softer after the fight as well and you can really start seeing it. Just gotta love all of the characters, they are just all so amazing.

Kirishima is my actual favorite, so ofc I love this episode! Although that doesn't mean as much, I guess, since I really love a lot of characters in this show, for example Tamaki! Your expression when he actually got shot... Great moment.
