The scouts didn't pass up the chance to have their balls in the hallway this episode. Respect from Armstrong.

Lol after fighting titans this whole time, the whole world looks like a hallway for your balls, not to be passed up.

Randomly generated thumbnail lands on shot of slaughtered innocents, dead women and children. Very fitting. With you now on Season 3 I just can't keep myself from watching these until the next day which is what I normally do, I just have to watch as soon as they drop.

These thumbnails are almost always on the nose, for a variety of different reasons.

hange and moblit this episode *muah* chef’s kiss

It seems like the most physically talented/powerful non-Titan humans we know are all Ackermans... what does it mean???

13:29 Damn, somebody get that horse a medal. Just ran straight through that barricade and didn't even flinch. Edit: Also, with the way Hange side-stepped that rifle, I feel like she's discovered yet another enemy... Tinnitus.

It's cause they don't waste frames in this show. Everything means something! You couldn't pick a bad thumbnail if you tried.

Alex Begley

I can just hear him talking about how much of a genius he is for doing so haha

Hey, totally random but I should mention that you're safe to watch the "Wall Sina, Goodbye" OVA! Seeing Hitch talking about Annie reminded me of it, and I totally would have spaced it other wise. I think it is my personal favorite OVA because it delves into Annie a bit, which I always wanted to see.

Nick Deano

I think jean and marlo talking is interesting thematically. Jean did want to be a MP once upon a time, but found that he was meant for the scouts. Marlo was also sort pointing himnself toward the scouts but he thought the MPs would be best. I just think its interesting for jean to peer into the mindset that may have once been similar to his.

I’d also love to see you react to the second OVA, I think it takes place somewhere in the first half of season 1 and is about a cooking contest between Jean and Sasha. I think it’s good to watch because it’ll serve as a reminder of the “happier times” and the bond between the cadets.

I'd totally recommend watching the "Wall Sina, Goodbye" OVAs after S3P1 ends and before S3P2, especially since the two episodes featuring Annie are semi-relevant to the next portion of Season 3 and the Mikasa one takes place directly after the events of Part 1. As for the other two OVAs from Season 1 — "An Sudden Visitor" and "Distress" I think it would be a great idea to watch those after Season 3's conclusion and before Season 4. Things start to get real (-er than before) pretty quickly, so it'd be nice to sort of take a walk down memory lane and watch one last pair of "fun" episodes before the pain begins. Also, it's really interesting to see how far the characters have come since Season 1.

Delete or edit this comment it contains spoiler about what will happen with her character. Though I absolutely agree about the badass hearing part.

Hey, dude, you've got a spoiler in your comment. I'd recommend revising it

Derrick C. Shields

Just gonna go ahead and SPOILER TAG this ahead of time so I can talk freely. Gonna be deleting both of these comments anyway, since it's more trouble than it's worth. DONT READ ONWARD, ANYONE WATCHING ALONG FOR THE FIRST TIME So, is this one of those situation where I'm not directly spoiling anything, but y'all made it into a spoiler by calling it out? Because the only thing I can think of is mentioning a theoretical situation in which a character survives but then doesn't actually matter to the story at all, then dies later. My point was that Sasha, regardless of what happens in the future, is still affecting the story, despite having been planned to die earlier (which as far as I know, is not a spoiler in and of itself. Unless almost EVERY reactor I've seen watch episode 2x2 has been "spoiled" by someone in the comments). I do not mention whether Sasha dies in the future, nor do I preclude the possibility that she could die in the very next episode. I think this is only a spoiler by virtue of going "SSSHHHHH!" to the person talking, when actually, they were pretty obviously talking around the subject. There are a lot of fictional examples of a character who was "planned to die" being kept alive until the very end, and examples where even then, they DON'T affect the story meaningfully, so I don't think merely mentioning alt 2x2 is... anything, really. :S Like I said, either way, these are both going down, but I'd like clarification. I don't think I even speak about Sasha in the future tense at all here. If someone read this and got spoiled, they'd be misinterpreting my meaning, which is partly my fault, hence why I'll remove it. On the other hand, if I'm somehow missing what I did like a dumbass, I'll totally take that L too.

Oops. Forgot that deleting an original comment prevents opening the replies. Won't get that explanation now. Oh, well. It probably should have been deleted one way or another.
