:( Sadge

Greedling taking back the main gate was definitely cool, but Bradley taking the gate was more badass. It's something about a old man wearing an eye patch taking out a tank, that can't be toped.

i feel like you mourned buccaneer 5 times over the last few episodes as he just kept coming back but then the death music kicked in and you just know. also this may be one of my fave outros yet

I'm always so excited to see your reactions to every episode! And now that we're getting into the last handful of episodes, the wait is killing me, lol! One thing to note, the wound that the Bradley "leftover" inflicted on Riza was on her neck--I believe she got the shoulder wound from Envy. But still, Riza, noooooo! One of my favorite characters!

He just would not stay down. It's hilarious, sad, and awesome simultaneously

This episode kind of confirms your head canon "the generals all suck" thing. at 18:18 in the video

You're right! I totally misunderstood what he was saying there. I thought he was referring to luring sacrifices in with the bait of immortality, but he was talking about luring in officers.

Nick

Guys it's okay, don't freak out. If there's anything I've learned from Attack on Titan Season 1, it's that people as intense and driven as Buccaneer will definitely come back piloting a titan. Real talk though: Buccaneer, Erwin and Levi would probably make a great team.

Susanne Cunningham

I think the portal Ed, Al, and Izumi were sucked through was similar to what happened when Ed, Ling, and Envy in Gluttony’s stomach. Instead of using the gate for its intended purpose, Ed used it as a gateway to get from one place to another. So the sacrifices were just transported. I also think that the transmutation circle is the same that Ed used but I could be wrong on that. The five circled transmutation that appeared above central and the one that was on the rock pieces in the stomach. Hope that makes sense :)

Oh man, I can't wait for you to finish this masterpiece of media but I also don't want to mourn the end of this show again (in addition to the mourn of you reacting to it). The bittersweetness...

Yusuf

I wonder what the doctor's goals are. He doesn't show signs of caring about immortality especially since he criticized the generals for falling for something as 'small as immortality'.

Jonathan Canfield

I recommend keeping emergency tissues near by for the rest of the show.

Someday, we'll find it the rainbow connection the lovers the dreamers and me o>

Its probably not even afternoon. Remember the point of the day is the solar eclipse, and you'd expect that to be nearer to noon.

Hey, nice MGS edit at the end!

Nick

Maybe he's like Shou Tucker. Practically insane in the pursuit of knowledge Reminds me of another character too

agoodwintv

Good question. Best guess is that he loves what he does. Also, even though he made fun of the generals for being simple minded, he may be falling for a very similar mistake without being self-aware enough to realize that he's also a pawn.

BubbleTea

It's also ironic that Greed's ultimate shield is a selfish power, meant to protect oneself. However, Ling/Greed use it for others, to defend what Buccaneer and the Briggs soldiers held important.
