What an episode. You really see the convictions of most of the main cast here. From the eastern xingese showing their devotion to each other as clansmen, to the reaffirmation of Ed and Al's want and need to continue their journey. Then you have the flipside of that with Scar and his challenging of his conviction. A really beautiful episode.

Yeah I've been happy to see more development for Ling and Lan Fan recently. They both shine in this episode. And as you said I'm glad to see the carryover for Scar from the last episode.

I love this episode a lot. More than the past couple episodes, it has multiple different parties clashing together and lots of interesting things happening all at once. Great to see everything come together and the key people know about Bradley now! (Except Armstrong, that is) Great reaction, see you for the next one :)

I loved that scene with Mustang and Ling shaking hands. The 2 people who were able to defeat a homunculus. This show does such a good job at not wasting its characters too, everyone has done/is doing something always.

Everyone should aspire to be as badass as Lan Fan and Ling in this episode. I also love the callback to Ed’s arm trick. I love that the action sequences come back in meaningful ways Also, a short but notable moment: when Lan Fan is screaming while biting onto that rag, that just sounds real and visceral. Top tier voice acting right there imo

Cut out in the anime but in the manga Ling and Lanfan fought Envy and Gluttony while mustang fought Lust

Salem...Selim? SELIM is voice by a lady in both this version and the 03 version, its easier to hear the girl voice in this version because Brittney Karbowski can't pull off a young male kid's voice to save her life half the time, like she voices Migi in Parasyte making Migi sound more feminine than ya know the neither male or female that Migi is also the next few episodes are going to be INTENSE o.o

This anime script-writing is superior to the translation in the manga. The whole transaction between Ling and Bradley, the ending is more concise and impactful, Lan Fan with Dr. Knox, and even Hawkeye popping back into the room to tell Mustang to stay hidden--the anime took the manga and raised the bar!
