I love how quick you are to pick up on little details. Even when you don't deduce something 100%, you usually manage to get pretty close. You're pretty clever and observant tbh, it's super cool.

The family tree is even bigger than what’s been revealed so far, as another commenter provided, but I don’t really think the family so far is that big. Triplets, their mother, two uncles and a great-uncle isn’t a very big family. But the actual full family, especially when you look at it in family tree charts like the one above, man it gets big and kinda complicated. I’ve only seen this reboot tho, not the original cartoon or read any of the comics, so anything that isn’t in this show is completely lost on me. I was in a similar situation to you, Mosco, and others in that way, not knowing much more characters besides Donald, the triples and Scrooge before I started watching this. So I took each new thing as it came, without having much knowledge of the originals to compare it too. I know there’s tons of fun to be had for people who have knowledge and experience with this world and it’s characters, because this show is bursting with references, cameos, and cool twists on previously established stuff. But I also think it’s fun to experience everything for the first time, to go in mostly blind. So it’s also fun to watch others have a similar experience to watching the show for the first time as me. Gladstone is officially just Gander, like Scrooge is McScrooge lol This episode is a lot of fun, and I’m glad you enjoyed it!

I don't think it's a super consequential episode, but it is neat to see how it illustrates the contrasts in what Scrooge and Donald would bring to adventuring, and compared to Gladstone who doesn't go in for it at all. Like, Scrooge's cunning would have short circuited the whole thing and gotten them out early if they hadn't needed to stay for Gladstone, while Donald's probably hardly ever actually into the adventures but will just power through regardless, especially for the sake of others. It was the same thing with Atlantis in the pilot. One might expect that, back when he was younger, it took a balancing intermediary to get him working well with Scrooge, that his kids are currently almost occupying.
