One of my favourite things about both Hilda and other settings with a modern setting but still including tons of magical stuff, is there's no avoiding the magical stuff. It's a part of their world. Honestly I'm jealous of these fictional characters lol

Oh wow, that other commenter was right, that statue is Odin. That also explains why the townsfolk thought the raven was tied with him, cause Odin is associated with ravens. Two in particular, Huginn and Muninn, are his personal servants and spies. Odin's often depicted with them on each of his shoulders.
