Arctic Painted Fox (Patreon)

There were two ideas from the previous post that particularly caught my attention... Arctic fox and african painted dog. I liked both and couldn't decide, so I did the thing I often do in such situations and picked the option that'll disappoint everyone; I went with both and smashed 'em together into one thing! Allow me to introduce you to the Actric Painted Fox. What do you think? May still make a few tweaks but we're honing in on the final design here.

Despite being fairly visually "loud" already, I feel like she needs some kind of accessory still, so I'm thinking about that. Not sure what yet...

Also name suggestions!

She's got such a beautiful coat! My first idea at a name would be Cinder, since her fur reminds me of ash. I think it's pretty either way 😁

I can see her wearing thigh and arm warmers, or leather bondage bands to make sections pop.

In terms of accessories, my first thought was a big hat, second is some kind of feather boa or scarf. Maybe something more reasonable is a fancy belt she wears even if naked. Or steal the Dickgirl Doe's corset. ;) Oh Oh! Or a transparent veil over her muzzle.

Maya is one of the "industry standard" 3D modeling tools. This fox was made in Blender. ;) It's a cute name tho for a character!

Sash works. Some things I added to the comment after you replied: Name: Tundra. Also the ears don't look right to me. Arctic foxes have little ears, and AWD have radar dishes. Hers look like normal fox ears.

She's just a conversion of an existing model, basically just a recolor, I didn't really bother to care about the ears much. Maybe her species is the 'bat-eared acrtic painted fox', why not. :P

She looks a lot like a marble fox (a particular pelt type), so the names of Marble seem pretty on the nose.

Agree with the people saying "Marble". For an accessory, what about some sort of Inuit jewelry? A necklace or wrist cuff, or something along those lines?

She's beautiful! I think she'd look great with some gold colors. Coat definitely looks like a type of marble hence maybe Carrara would make a good name?

I agree with some sort of sash or Sari have with her. Maybe it could be a bright color. As for name, I'm not sure, but maybe you can use a translated version of a popular name if it sounds too generic.

Holy shit she's fucking gorgeous!!!! God damn Ru, I know you said you took Mango's wings off, but like.. Fuck, this is just some other kind of appealing. Name ideas? I can't be bothered to come up with names. If I saw her, I wouldn't be asking for names, just how I can get a piece of that for me! Fucking cookie's and cream ice cream, she looks delicious. Give her glasses, and rose gold earrings or bracelets. Maybe barbel nipple piercings or a vertical clithood piercing.

Some unsolicited critique if that’s alright: All I can see is standard Perlin noise clouds ^^; I feel she deserves more distinct bespoke markings or fur pattern. It’s not that it’s too loud, but rather the specific gradient and distribution are not as nuanced as what you’d see on a painted dog’s coat. It’s too uniformly random, and I find that makes it look deceptively cheap, and not up to the quality of what I’ve come to expect of your other work. The color palette and general feel are great, but the body from the neck down just looks a bit unfinished to me, like a placeholder.

Carrara! You know, like where the famous Italian white marble quarries are. Or Luna, since Carrara marble is also called Luna marble.

Maybe her eyes need to be a more piercing color that doesn't wash into the fur color like the light blue. Bright red, vibrant purple, a deeper blue that really stands out. Need something to break up the colors in some way, the same way you made Tahlia's feet white. I personally think blood red would do quite well for eye color to add warm colors into the field of cold colors. Also, Luna is a very nice name as suggested above.

Ok well, we already got glasses as traits on other characters. Just a random thought but she would definitely fit a highschool varsity bomber jacket, could be a cool trait for her.

I may fiddle with the overlaying pattern a bit at some point when I've got a bit more time. Honestly I personally mostly like the overall effect, but I could also see a few ways it could perhaps be improved with a little adjusting. We shall see!

Yeah, might explore that idea bit. It's pretty quick and easy to change eye colour so definitely worth playing around with a bit; I'll play around and see if I like anything else better!

Oh damn, well thank you! I'm glad you like her so far! :D The colour gold seems to be coming up a lot in the suggestions, and I think I agree, should look nice, I'll have to experiment with adding some to her and see how that goes.

Very cool idea; however, like you said her pattern is a bit loud. I feel like my eyes want a little bit more symmetry maybe. The particular area that distracts my eye is her left breast and stomach area. What's going on there makes it hard to see her form and shape of her body, it's basically a good arctic camo :D. Oh! Maybe she needs some kind of military or tough kind of attachments, some kind of metallic armor, or even sci-fi type armor?

I tend to be a little too addicted to symmetry, so I wanted to push the asymmetry intentionally on this one to get outside my comfort zone a bit. Though I did end up toning it down a little! Still, I could see why she wouldn't be everyone's jam, and that's okay. :P
