Turkey (the chicken) timezones, everyone. Andy here with another monthly report to you. Did you guys have good holi-days? Did you get to stuff a turkey, or did you get your turkey stuffed? But I digress, here's what you guys came for:

I will start with free talk panel (basically where I ramble about things.) So, I'm sorry for giving little to no news about AFCL development the whole month. My family notoriously loves screwing me over, and I had to deal with that for weeks on end. But I won't also discount the fact that I'd been neglecting it because I've been...not feeling it, as of late.

Also, I've noticed a bunch of messages on my inbox, I'm sorry, but I rarely check Patreon inbox. If you have questions, feel free to contact us through Discord.

I made the announcement last month, and I'll put it here again in case you guys missed it:

Without further ado, monthly report!

  • Updated game to 0.9.50p and 0.9.50i:

For patrons, this gives you not half, not one, but TWO(!!!) new routes at once. Enjoy reading through G9 and A9. We have sex scenes planned for both routes, but since we have no resource for it currently, it's just a wall of text right now. For public update, you guys are getting ME1! Enjoy seeing how Mark works, like him or hate him, it's there.


  • Adjustment to Gil and Anders' route:

Just like previous month, this is not as involved as Mark's route. I've updated G1 up to G6 for better flow, added chapter names, added messaging screen, and expressions for certain characters. As for Anders', it's mostly added missing variable and technical fixes.


  • Added two new fonts:

These fonts are used for the chatbox and something else. You'll notice that when Coach Gil calls you (in-game.)


  • New text tags:

It's called Kinetic text tag by the creator, it's mostly to make the scene feels livelier by adding animated text to certain scenes. Thanks to Daniel Westfall (sodara9 on Twitter) for providing the script files!


  • Updated warning scene, added photosensitivity screen and transitions:

It always has been bothering me that the splash screen would abruptly transition into black instead of fading out, so I changed that. Also, this game contains some flashing images and whatnot with those (intentional) glitches, so I added that warning before the game starts.


  • License screen update:

It's not fully functional yet, but it now hosts few items in it. Will keep updating as we do more development things™


  • More graphical update:

This isn't like what it sounded to you, actually; what I meant is that listing each new image resource added is going to take a long time to write, so I lumped them into one paragraph. We've added a lot of temporary side images, new expressions for certain characters, and etc.


  • More sound and music:

It took me a lot of time because I'm very nitpicky about what music to choose and add. Oh, the joy of looping new music, I hate it. But I also hate non-looped music. The dilemma...


  • Further file size reduction:

I'm trying my best to keep the game under 1GB. So, there's a lot of file optimizations going on. Maybe you'll notice increase in size, but that's normal, because we've added a bunch of things into the game.

What's next, you ask? 

We finally got our Parker's CG, so we'll start implementing that next month. We'll have Parker Episode 1 coming up in December, and then I'll be taking a break in January. Speaking of CG, Wolgen will no longer be our CG artist (he's still our FG artist though.) We're still looking for new CG artist, so if you have any recommendations, feel free to let us know!

That's all I have for this month, I think. It certainly has been a slow month, but I felt like Rex and I did a lot of work LOL. Crunch time.

The Quiet Bulls link doesnt seem to work? Keeps bringing me to a page that says you havent published anything. But the public link works 🤔

Same thing for Playful Lion, but that could also just be from me being a new patron and it just hasn't synced up for me yet Edit: The link works now, my itch account just needed time to catch up and realize i'm a patron now

Quiet Bulls and Playful Lions are lower tier pledges, so you usually will have to wait 3 days until you can have access. The links are there now in case you aren't pledging in December so that you can keep them and still download the game when it's ready. Edit: In hindsight, what I've said here is misleading. Please check the comment Andy left and read the post carefully if there's any confusion!

While what Rex said is usually true, it's not for this update. The links are up for all patrons this time due to late update, so everyone can get it now. You're -probably- haven't integrated itch.io account with Patreon yet, that's why you weren't able to see anything. Check the pinned post. If you can't get it to work, I've already sent Dropbox link via automated message into all active patron's inbox, go download there.
