Anders Day 8 Polished Update (Patreon)

"Hey everyone! Rex Mundane here, after some trials and tribulations (seriously, the end of this year is trying to ruin us). But despite that, Anders' Day 8 is here!  

A few things to note: for those unaware, After Class's code has undergone numerous changes, and as a result, most save files related to Anders are unusable. If you are playing from a save made after the 0.8.41 patch update, then you will still need to play from a save on Day 4 or earlier. Otherwise, you will miss important variable checks and end up on a route you probably don't want.  

We understand this is irritating, but this is how it is with game still in development. We thank you for your patience.  But in a bit of serendipity, the route for Anders has changed in various ways, so re-reading it (if necessary) is definitely a good idea. Expressions, sprites, even story beats have been adjusted to make it closer to what we intend for Anders' story. But if you absolutely can't stand the idea of revisiting content, then...well, we don't recommend it, but the Skip option is always there.  

For Day 8 itself, this one is definitely special. I wrote it when I was, ah, in a difficult spot, personally. So it's reflective of those feelings I had. I sincerely hope you enjoy it.  

Decisions made starting from this Day will significantly shape the route; no more winding branches that ultimately are just for fun exploration, there are consequences now! But at the same time, that isn't to say whatever you chose doesn't matter. Affection with Anders shapes the route as you would expect, but...well, you'll see.

Okay, maybe you did...but you didn't know I was going to say something down here!

The reason that it is a polished update is that we've both done all of the thing needed to do, and there's no need to fix anything at the moment...at least until someone found an error and post it to the error-report on Discord. But! I feel like there's gonna be a follow up update, a patch for something, we'll see. Oh, there'll be a new post in a near future. Do me a favor, I need your help :)

Anyway, Halloween is here very soon, what are you going to be this year? I asked Rex and he said to be not sick, which is fair. 

As for me, I want to be rich, and quote, fucked, end quote.
