Hi! As always, my blog is the best place to get the latest news about the game. And today, that news is the fact that I've created a Trello page where you can see me make progress on Osana tasks in real-time!

Here's a link to the post: https://yanderedev.wordpress.com/2020/08/01/live-updating-osana-checklist/

Live-Updating Osana Checklist

Every animation, cutscene, gameplay mechanic, feature, model, scripted event, and voiced line related to Osana is in the game. In that sense, she is "finished." However, I can't release her until I've tested every feature related to her to confirm that everything is working properly - and that is a lengthy and elaborate process.

Most of these complaints are invalid, the ones that aren't do not justify harassment. Harassment can be a useful tool to dismantle fascism, and powerful exploitative elements in society. But it is not a good or healthy tactic to use against someone who you find "cringey" or is "making a bad game" or "taking too long" or "ripped assets" or has an opinion that you disagree with. I disagree with many ways you've gone about development. But you don't deserve to be harassed for any of it. And large amounts of this "criticism" is based on your appearance, or misunderstandings, or character assassination. All of that "criticism" isn't criticism at all, it's bullying. I hope that you are able to tell the difference between constructive feedback and bullying — and I think that you do, based on how throughout development you were constantly asking players to give input. The Trello system is a good way to keep track of your progress and it means you don't have to spend time writing long progress posts, so that it a good move on your part I think. Good luck with development.

Patron for about a year here, never played any of the demos (waiting for Osana to do that). I comment here because I saw in the August 1 blog post about The "Schemes". I will start by saying that I consider the inclusion of the Schemes a GODSEND that resolves my main concern about the game: That for a newbie that didn't go far in hitman, it would be TOO HARD and TOO COMPLICATED to eliminate rivals. And another lower concern: What if I want to try more methods? How do I know how many there are? Now, specifically about this part: “Schemes” are like walkthroughs that guide you through specific elimination methods. You may ask, “Why does the game need to contain something like this?” [...] "Before you say "That’s weird and unnecessary! " Well, those that think that can choose to not use the build-in guide. Please leave it there for the rest of us. Thank you for the schemes and all the work behind them.

Hey Yandev! I know theres a lot of hate, and I've lost hope a few times along the way from all the hate from many, many people- but honestly, idec about that stuff. I'm proud you came out with Osana and I hope my small donation can help you get a programmer and complete the rivals faster/cut down your work load and make you less stressed. I'm sure it's all really stressful making a game on your own the way you are. I'm so so excited to play Osanas demo!!
