Hey, friends! I wanted to share a few more projects that are work in progress with you - my cathedral modular asset pack and the beachfront texture (complete with a TON of my scans of waves to use!).

I've been working on modeling a bunch of cathedral assets, including arches, buttresses, complex ceilings, stained glass windows, custom columns, and other elements. The goal was to make these modular so that I can just drag and drop them into new projects and click them together like LEGOs to make my completed scenes. In the still above, I combined 5 different assets I modeled by hand to build out the cool arch scene you see. I'm adding more of these assets to my collection and plan to release them all on here for you! I wanted to do a few more tests on my end (right now, I'm experimenting with some procedural stained glass), and then I'll drop them up on here. 

For now, I've dropped one of my cathedral assets up in the attachments here for you to use. It is untextured, but just using a simple plaster texture from this site (https://ambientcg.com/) is enough to give you a nice look to this:

The above is a render I made with my cathedral model and just a simple plaster texture.


I'm also working on designing a photorealistic beachfront texture setup (complete with photoscans of waves I created). Above is an overhead look at the shaded view - you can see I'm combining a whole bunch of different textures together to get a really nice look:

Above is a screenshot I took from the viewport rendered mode of the result. I've been studying lots of references I've taken of shorelines to create this setup. I'm hoping to refine this into an easy to use shader for you. I'm still refining this one as well, but wanted to tease it a little here for you all! :)
