Modding Diary - I gave babies Anemia (Patreon)

 Hi guys I hope you all had a wonderful week!

I worked on some interesting stuff this week.😊

Last week(or was it the week before?) I made it so that some babies are too weak to be held when they are born, this week I worked on the script that blocks out some of the EA interactions for babies that are too weak. Your sim wont be able to hold their baby or feed them the normal way until they become stronger.

 I also fixed the read to baby interaction that I was having trouble with. It took some time but I was able to find a workaround. Some of you reported that even the EA "read to child" interaction is buggy sometimes, so I did mine in a different way hopefully it will more stable than the EA one.  

And next I worked on the "ask baby's condition" interaction, this interaction allows your sim to ask the doctor and check how the baby is doing, the doctor will either say the baby is doing well, or that they have certain health conditions.

Some babies might be born with Anemia

(to-do) to treat their Anemia you will need to add this special iron supplement to their milk to help boost their iron levels. You dont have to give iron supplements for the Anemia to go away, it will eventually clear on its own after 2 sim days, but the iron supplement will speeds up the process significantly.

after a few feedings the doctors will confirm that the baby is doing better when you ask them.

And eventually the doctor will say something like this when the baby is healthy.
