I think the audio was really sexy and was the perfect start of this experiment. I liked the teaser and I liked the whole thing - some parts better than the others. It's been long enough since I've listened that I think I can form coherent sentences now. 😳 I'm not going to pretend to know much about this kink, because I don't at all. However, after we had kids, my husband morphed into "Daddy" for me. As part of a general attempt to declutter my mind and not get bogged down by the weight of my thoughts, I've practicing just trying to <i>listen</i> to GF audios as they are. If an audio elicits a certain emotion, positive or negative, that's okay. I'll acknowledge what I'm feeling, accept that it is what it is, and proceed to finish the audio. So far I've found that trying to remove thinking and analyzing from the equation makes for a far different listening experience. I'm not having to rewind huge chunks of the audio after having missed half of what Gael said because I was too busy wondering things like, <i>"What does this part mean? Can I liken this to anything I've experienced before? Why approach the audio from this angle in the first place? What about such-and-such perspective?"</i>. Instead I actually get to hear the audio in a semblance of peace and quiet, and I could almost kick myself that it's taken me so long to actually try this. I'm trying to approach the question of <i>"Why did he make the audio like this?"</i> in a similar fashion. As in, yes, the curiosity is there, but do <i>I</i> really need to know the answer to that question in order to enjoy the audio? I don't think I do. I can hazard some guesses at why he may have created the audio this way, but I certainly don't know the actual answer(s). I sometimes make the mistake of treating assumptions as facts. In this case, I don't know if this audio was, as some people think, "tame" because Gael was uncomfortable when he made it, or if he was especially worried about how we'd react to it. I don't know if he's holding back. I don't know to what degree he prefers Alpha dynamics vs. more romantic exchanges vs. different kinks. Only he knows that. I know that the speculation in this thread is well intentioned. None of us want Gael to feel uncomfortable, or creatively stifled, or under pressure. But I don't actually know if he feels that way. Or if he does, I don't know if he'd actually tell us that. I've read through most of the comments (almost all of them), and I really don't feel like getting into the "why did Gael make the audio like this, why hold back, why don't, why this, why that" etc. thread. There's one or two things that are on my mind regarding everything: Gael started Patreon to experiment - while getting amazing, sexy, comforting, loving and so on audios from him, from which we all benefit, we give him feedback. He's releasing most of these stuff to the general audience too, let it be on an album, the Playroom, his website, the store, whatever - so these are not all for the paying audience. He wants to know what works for this group. Between the ~850 of us (and later more) there's always gonna be people who are into the stuff, who are not, who want the more vanilla stuff, who want the more hardcore stuff. Fortunately he has a pretty big list of amazing audios so you can all find what suits you. So: if he can get a general feedback from the group, he knows that most likely that's what he's getting back from the other listeners who are not on Patreon... My two cents about this audio being a bit on the "vanilla" side: I can't talk from experience, cause I have non, but I'd prefer to try out a kink slowly rather than BOOM! into it like animals. You don't put up the roof first and then do the basement and wall works... I think he did a great job testing the waters for himself and for those who are new to this kink or are getting into it. He can build up to the nasty-dirty stuff in the upcoming weeks and months like you would most likely do in a relationship. Those who are in this for a longer time, they don't need to get into it again, but some newbies might. And if there is a point that is not working for them anymore in the future, they can switch off the audio... No one is forcing them. The first shock i had with Gael's audios was with the "Shibari" one. I remember trying to listen in parts because I needed time to adjust to that type of BDSM. Let's say someone develops a certain kink for girls dressed in leather body suits and a Darth Vadar mask. *ahem* 😉 That's something I'm not personally into but perhaps a minority of people on here are.
