union chapel night 1 - thurs dec 5 (Patreon)

hallo loves....

just a quick note for you from backstage....we are about to head into show #1 of 4 at union chapel in london.

i posted this to instagram today 

....and that's about how the day went. i'm nervous for tonight, doing the show after a month off - since i didn't play the script show in portugal - feels a little bit like driving a car after you've been in an accident. so much of what i'm talking and singing about on stage has been thrown into a new perspective after the weirdness of the past few weeks. it'll make the show better. it always does.

mostly, i am looking forward to seeing your faces. i've missed you.

here are some notes about the show tonight (and same goes for tomorrow!!)

if you're a patron, don't forget to grab a pin, and we will try to have the holiday cards for you, AND don't forget to gather at the end of the show for a photo....this is going to be one of the most beautiful shots we've got, we are in a pretty church for cry-eye!!

NEW HOODIES AT THE MERCH TABLE

new hoodie for sale at these london shows.....if any are left over alex will put them up in the UK merch shop....or if you demand them, he may order more and put them up anyway

here's alex and michael modeling the front and back design of this new ecofriendly hoodie. the front features the skull machete logo based off of the kahn and selesnick photo, and the back features a design based on the album cover art illustrated by hannah litke.

THE RETURN OF OUR PATRONATORS

hayley and michael are both here in london for all four shows. they will be running around throughout each night but they'll be stationed with alex by the merch table during intermission and the end of the night. ask them about patreon, if you want to sign up, they'll help you. if you have any questions, they're here for you. they'll also have the patron-only pins so if you need one of those, let them know.

here we are praciticing shintaido with david franklin earlier today, it was a lot of fun. david is doing more sessions at the venue this week before the concerts and on the 12th, details in this previous post. come. join us.
