Also the author is a survivor of domestic violence and sexual assault which I think gives her great insight into guilt shame and various behavior dynamics in the story And part of what the story feel so refreshing. I could Talk HP day but let me end with this. Nittwit, Blubber, Oddment, and Tweak. Dumbledore said these words in the first book. In the sixth book Harry is remembering these words and still thinking about them.

Ok don’t know what happened to first comment. But basically it was that biggest difference between books and movies is books give direct access to Harry inner thoughts and feelings. Also to pay close attention to private conversation between Harry and adults as it’s often a key to bigger themes. And pay close attention to what magical objects do and don’t do. They’re another angle on the story that’s interesting. 2nd movie has end credits scene. No others do. You will thourghly Enjoy this series many times over.

I asked her about the theatrical version edit of the watch along for Chamber of Secrets. She replied: So I was going to do that but then when I started editing - the differences are so hard to cut that it would have been nearly impossible. So moving forward I will ONLY be watching theatrical cuts of the movies. I’m sorry :(
