Happy Monday Nat. Hope you had an awesome weekend too. I hope you've recovered slightly from last week's show, although the next 2 shows have probably dragged you back down again. TLOU world is unrelenting. Looking forward to seeing what you made of these next 2 episodes. Ellie's joke book is featured in the game and provides light relief while you're playing 😄, and the heavily armed 2nd in command soldier Perry was played by Jeffrey Pierce, who provided the voice of Joel's brother Tommy in the games. Great reaction today Nat. Thank you. Can't wait for the next one 😬💛

Nat the cool guy with the gray beard and hair is actually the voice actor of Joel in the original videogame, Troy Baker. The offered a role in thx for his contributions in the game.

Thats not Troy Baker. Troy did play Joel in the game but thats not him. The gray beard, he did play Tommy though.

Yes, that's Jeffrey Pierce, who played Tommy in the games. Troy Baker IS in this series, though, I think in episode 7 or 8, so we'll see him soon. Ashely Johnson, the voice of Ellie in the games, is also in an episode, I think Ep 9.

Very happy for today's TLOU episode. Nat gets a breather! No crying makeup off. No banging knees, jump scares, zombies chasing people. Even some smiles and laughing! Worst thing to happen was a possible bad bang day. And when you are watching TLOU, that's a good day if that's the worst thing happening.

I think it'll actually be a second (she's been caught up with Ted Lasso for awhile since the third season doesn't come out until March), but it's certainly a rarity!

I could be wrong, but when Ellie mentioned the Starbucks in the QZ I assumed it was just one of the abandonded buildings in the QZ that she saw the sign for or learned about at her "shitty" school. Could be totally wrong, but I guess we'll never know for sure. lol

That's what I thought, too. I've seen a couple reactors comment on that saying they thought it meant Starbucks outlasted the virus but I just assumed it meant that Ellie still saw an empty Starbucks on every corner.

First: Im finally back on Patreon again, im Sorry i have been gone for so long. (Hope i can stay for awile now) Second: This Episode was pretty good.. alltho everything was purely made for the show.. (in the game we never meet Kathleen or Perry) And, we end on the cliffhanger with this one🤣🤣. I wont tell the names yet) Since there are properly people here who watch TLOU together as Nat upload these.. so yea.

Most of these episodes can be watched one at a time. And there were some episodes that were merged by HBO like the first episode. But episodes 4 and 5 probably need to be watched back to back. I've seen some reactions fuse those two eps together.

It's so fun seeing you "unknowingly" pick up on stuff. I love your reactions! Also: "they are having a moment 🥹😭" is my usual reaction to Joel and Ellie lmao. It feels good to be seen (even though I already knew I was not alone). They are so cute.

Most of this serious was shot in my home province of Alberta and that gas station scene in the beginning was shot 20 mins of my house which was awesome. I also got to see that set before they tor it down.
