I dont know if it's 'the greatest' but it is a great sequel; expanding on the first film's ideas, deepening the characters. And there's so much imagination here which all adds to the comedy. Puss in Boots is probably the best character addition in a sequel that they finally did justice again in 2022. Just Watch Shrek 3 if you want a reminder of how good this is.

I love this movie, what a nice suprise reaction! just fyi. because you talked a bit about movie refrences, maybe you just didnt mention/react to them but if you just didnt notice, you should watch the first couple of mins again(in your own time) because they are packed with refrences you at least didnt react to, and they are really fun. Anyway great reaction thanks for making me watch this again its such a fun ride.

Wow I forgot how great this movie was! I’m glad you got some of us to watch this again! Really good throwback, brought back some good childhood memories. Also reminded me of how good the first two Shrek movies are! I can’t speak for the other two because I haven’t seen them in years and I’ve only seen each one once. I’d watch again if Nat watches.

I love the Shrek series, but I think an unbiased person would even have to admit the soundtracks of 1 and 2 are amazing. when I was gifted my first iPod (a shuffle, way back in the day lol I am very old) The first music I downloaded were the Shrek 1 and 2 soundtracks. Also, since the potion affects the drinker and their love, I always wondered if dragon transformed with donkey and what she transformed into!

there’s a theory that the dragon is actually a princess cursed to be a dragon, and she guards the castle, since there’s a separate story in the intro for the book that opens up. and she probs turned into back human form after donkey took the potion
