This show really does have some really great character moments, Like Sokka being called an oaf. He's way off in the background, but turns his head and shouts HEY! 😂 It's just so good. Loved you laughing at your own "simmer down" joke 😂 Looking forward to seeing how the season closes out. Thanks for a fun video today Nat 💛

Yeah Aang was particularly annoying in the Fire Nation episode, but that one always grates on me Because it's clear that they write him that way in order to teach a lesson/make a point, but he talks about his fire Nation friend in the past, and how he visited there often before he was frozen... So you'd think that he would know that those festivals went on and the magician was just doing a show. And He would also be familiar with how dangerous fire can be. He said that he and Kuzon did get in a lot of trouble back in the day. So I've always chalked up how he behaves in this episode as "necessary character development". It was also nice seeing Natalie get all emotional when Aang returned the necklace and got a kiss from Katara. The characters are already affecting her and she has no idea that it's just going to get deeper and deeper and she'll be invested in every single character and storyline before the show is done. 😂

I forgot how great this show was. I remember it really slaps in Book 2 and 3, but there's some groundwork being laid here that I didn't realize at the time. The showrunners clearly had a 3-season plan from the start, which is rare. Also, goddamn the music in this show is GOOD! Some of these leitmotifs (e.g. those for the Fire Nation, Momo, and the Avatar State) are up there with the Marvel Fanfare for me.

yes this would help because for example i don't have the episode recaps in my copies and on Netflix and the timer provided never works so i try to sync with the blurry footage :)
