Happy Thursday Nat. Excited to get back on the Avatar journey. BTW, your hair looks amazing today 🤩 That was a lot of fun today, and getting the 2 parts together was cool. Momo, the emotional support lemur 😄 Thanks for an enjoyable reaction today Nat 💛

Hey Nat. Are you gonna skip The Great DIvide?

Danishprince

Happy ATLA day! These are some amazing episodes, so excited to see your reaction to them - Would love to get some more post-episode thoughts and opinions <3

I think her more extensive thoughts and opinions will come when she starts enjoying the show more. Right now it seems to be more of an enjoyable and fun little diversion. When the plot gets cooking, then we'll see if it grabs her or not, and she might have more to say.

Not my cup of tea.

Why DID Iroh see Aang's spirit? Hmmm... Note how Roku melted the chains binding Katara and the others, but they weren't even singed? That's the power AND control of a fully-realized Avatar. And I love how the sages just run when Roku turns to glare at them.

Simon Bauer

not a fan of these ones sadly :/

Thank you Nat for this new great reaction! I'm glad you're having a cosy time and enjoying the show 😄 (It's just the beginning though haha) I really can't wait to see you a little bit further when things are getting "a little bit more serious" haha 😀 I hope you're fine, take care, be safe and stay golden! 💛

matthew

the quality and budget of this show goes up massively in the following 2 seasons

Kevin

Okay? Just don't watch it, stop leaving negative comments for Nat lol

Kevin

This show just gets better as the episodes pass. Season 3 has some amazing fight animations

FIrebenders don't actually magically manifest fire, they release a chemical that reacts with the oxygen in the air around them to create fire. Then they can "bend" the fire to make it grow, etc. EDIT: This is a theory, not actually stated in so many words within the show.

The Soldier

thats not necessarily true, fire bending comes from something closer to chi than physics, relying on the users breath.

I'm new here to Patreon, but have been watching Nat's reactions on YouTube for a while. Everytime I think I'm gonna quit, she watches something else I'm into. Then I joined as saw this! I was too old to get into ATLA when it aired on Nickelodeon, but I kept hearing how good it was from friends who grew up watching it, and even those who didn't but watched it as adults, some with their kids, and loved it. So I finally decided to watch it when I was in my 40s. Took me a while to get into it, but I was so into it by end of season 1, I was not sorry. As someone who wants to write science fiction and fantasy stories and the like, I'm amazed at the super excellent storytelling in this series. Anyhow, I'm glad I discovered that Nat is watching this here. Gives me a chance to review the series and get a different perspective. I think Nat may have actually just dropped the first half on youtube, but I'm watching the full versions here. Rewatching is fun, every now and then Nat notices something I missed. SIDE NOTE: I made the mistake of trying to synch up timing with the Paramount+ version and kept wondering why everything kept getting off track. Nextflix has recaps at the beginning of the eps, Paramount+ does not!
