Oh, i really hoped for Shang Chi today, is it going to come this week?

Jeff K

I love this episode. Also, you might know this already, but Higgins and Mrs. Higgins are actually married in real life. Thinking about that when rewatching all of their scenes together make them seem even sweeter.

Randee Carreno

Happy Monday, Natalie! 😊 Downloading this right now to watch tonight. This is a really good season so far. I hope that it gets picked up for a 3rd season. Looking forward to watching this reaction this evening. Have a great day today! 😊 Until the next video, Stay Golden! 💛

Happy Monday Nat. Hope you had a great weekend. Glad you are on the road to recovery. Thanks for a fun reaction today 💛 Ted taking a backseat and letting Roy shine. "You had me at Coach" is such a brilliant line. Looking forward to seeing how they will all work together with the team.

One of my favourite episodes and yes, Ryan Reynolds does own AFC Wrexham

sammi

I highly recommend Finch. The reviews were kind of so-so but I loved it, just make sure to keep tissues on hand.

Ian

Really fun episode Nat Wrexham is indeed owned now by Ryan Reynolds and Rob mcelhenney after which someone made a new Wrexham sign in the same style as Hollywood so it can be seen as you enter the town 😀 and yes you can also get relegated again down into league Two and so on 👍

Roy’s from South London, it didn’t take long to get to his hometown :). Glad you’re enjoying the series (and the people who like the series!) so much!

Ginge Tomassi

I absolutely love references to film and tv in a show so unsurprisingly this is my favourite episode of the entire show personally.

Tay Schumaker

Yes you can get relegated from the Championship. The English football pyramid is Premier League Championship League 1 League 2 National League and it goes down further but starts getting splintered from there

Kevin M. Pitts

One of my favorite episodes. And, yes, Natalie, you can continue to get relegated. There are many levels of English soccer. If you drop from the Championship then you fall to League One, then League Two, etc.

Interesting that Ted Lassos would be doing lower views on YouTube. Perhaps to do with being an Apple series not everyone is paying for (Disney+ more popular). But, this show is maybe my favorite thing to watch you react to. I usually just enjoy your YouTube edits, occasionally do full watch-alongs on Patreon, but the Ted Lassos I take the time to sync up and rewatch with you every time.

The English football system is actually incredible. There are about 7000 teams in about 480 divisions spread over 11 tiers that go from amateur clubs pretty much anyone can play for at the bottom to some of the biggest sports teams in the world like Manchester United at the top. Richmond are currently in the championship (tier 2) this image might help visualise it. https://groundhopperguides.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/english_league_pyramid.gif

Hi and thanks Nat for your new reaction, it was really funny, perfect to begin the week in a good shape 😄 I can't wait to see your next reaction! I hope you're fine, take care, be safe and stay golden! 💛

dieselbeast

This is random nothing to do with Ted lasso, and enjoy your movie reviews but tend to skip made for tv series which is ok, I would love for you to react sometime in the near future if you haven't seen them on your own time, godfather one and two, Scarface, Carlitos way, great gangster movies, but first looking forward for you to finish the X-Men series and then maybe one day you can finish watching rocky two three and four lol worth a shot 🤷😁😊 I know so many diff ppl want you to react to diff things but thank you for all you do for us Natalie! ❤️

Eric

I wonder if part of it is just how new it is; something like Firefly is so much older that it found its audience. A show as new as Ted Lasso isn't going to be a show all that many people have seen, comparatively.

Al Baughman

I'm so glad you're reacting to this series, it's such a feel good show! The scene where Roy realized he's supposed to be a coach was my favorite, such a Rom-Com moment with the music!

Zack Wallace

Just some movie recommendations that I hope gain some traction among this group. Prisoners, Sicario, No Country For Old Men, and Birdman (Or The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance). Not sure if you have seen any of these but they are fantastic films. People would love your reactions to them.

Joe Blankenship

So, do we think Rebecca is messaging with Ted on that Bantr app? They kinda made it seem that way when they cut from her to Ted reading something on his phone and smiling.

Kristine Harbek

I'm definitely one of those who've found you through Ted Lasso, and it's been a joy to also go through all your other stuff as well! Though this is still what I look forward to every week. Some people have mentioned that Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney do own Wrexham, but one adorable note is that after this episode aired, they sent a very official letter that basically boiled down to "How DARE you slander us with insinuating we don't take this seriously!", while also complimenting the show, and requesting Ted Lasso's biscuits as recompense. And they DID get like 50 pink boxes of Ted Lasso biscuits from the show! ♥ As for the episode, they do some of these themed episode, but I also feel like they don't overplay it or lean too heavily on it, which is nice. The story takes precedence over the jokes/references, just like it always has. Nate's development is interesting to watch, but bits of it are still worrying. Like spitting on your reflection feels like he's spitting on himself and telling him to pull it together, rather than actually being supportive towards yourself, you know? And he definitely doesn't know the line between self-assured and bossy. Roy's development however, is WONDERFUL. When you were talking about worrying he might be out of the show, I was just like "oh don't you worry!" ;) I love the next episode, I super look forward to your reaction! (Actually that goes for pretty much the rest of the season!)

DaSmerg

Thanks Nat!! For anyone wondering what fame looks like, search YouTube for football/soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo going out for tea with a mate. He has a hidden camera crew with him. Not only is he amazing for being so gracious, you'll see why a certain level of fame puts folks in some wierd head space.

Ben Curran

Blows my mind that Ted is doing lots less than everything else... That's so sad cos its bloody brilliant! I pretty much rewatch everything you put on here on you tube but the full length un censored ones are the go for me :) Keep on being you cos that's what we all love!

i started watching Ted Lasso because of your reactions, and then i joined Patreon to watch the full length reactions of each episode of this series haha

Good video. I am openly sports illiterate, especially overseas, but the subject of Fame is interesting to me. One of my favorite writers, Alan Moore (Watchmen, V for Vendetta) compares modern fame with men going to sea to find their fortune, in the past. That used to be just about the only way to become a "celebrity" in that time. But before setting out to become a seafaring merchant - you learned to tie knots, you learned to swim, you learned how to do what you were setting out to do. You at least knew the risks ahead of time. Nowadays people find fame (rarely) without first learning step zero of being famous -- let alone steps one through 5,000. I have never been famous myself, (i was possibly a large fish and a small pond acting in plays in a smaller City, but not famous even for that town). I have great sympathy for people who find themselves being famous - even if it is the result of their big life's goal - it so often leads to so many problems. That's my 0.07€ on the subject.

Tiniest note for a great, fun, smart episode. The middle finger gesture is known the world over, but in the United Kingdom they have a different gesture for that. Now half the coaching team IS from the US - but the sport commentators made a point to say "He certainly seems to have settled into our culture!" "He certainly has!". Like I said, tiniest note, never wanting to be negative. But if he had - if the coaching staff really had "settled into" their culture - it would have been the 'backwards peace sign' of two fingers. I'm starting to feel pedantic pointing this out, but it struck me even harder the second time watching. That's all. Great show, great episode. I think a lot of the producing team of the show is from America, and since the show is so great - i'll cut them more than a little slack!

—thoughtstorms—Keith—

I absolutely agree on Birdman! Also for No Country, with only a tiny bit less enthusiasm. The first two you mentioned i haven't seen. If Natalie does choose to react to them - i will watch them first and then enjoy them again with her commentary!

—thoughtstorms—Keith—

0ooops. I put this comment on the wrong video. I'm going to copy and paste it into the right episode. Perma-no0b -ᵗ̷ʰ̷ᵒ̷ᵘ̷ᵍ̷ʰ̷ᵗ̷ˢ̷ᵗ̷ᵒ̷ʳ̷ᵐ̷ˢ̷-

I’ve been watching your reactions for some time but I’m part of the crew that joined patreon because of Ted Lasso. I don’t think it’s getting the love it deserves partly because not many people have Apple TV but also most think it’s just a simple sports comedy. People just need to give it a shot. I’ve already made converts of two of my friends.

I’ve watched a bunch of your videos now but Ted Lasso is what made me join Patreon. It’s such a great show. I thought it was a sports movie parody show and it wasn’t until I watched a clip from the Emmy wins that I realized it wasn’t and started watching.
