A surprise, but I'm happy about it. The sequel is better than the original in my opinion.

Darryl Low

You can't beat a surprise to start off your weekend. Thank you Nat 💛 Hope you had a great trip. Is that a new cup to add to your collection? he he This was such a fun reaction Nat, but also one to get the tears flowing. Animated movies always get you going Nat. John Powell and Hans Zimmer's score is so amazing. Thanks as always for all your awesome work this week Nat. Have a great weekend.

Please watch Lone Survivor and 13 hours and Friday night lights!

Randee Carreno

Happy Friday, Natalie! 😊 YAY! The 2nd "Kung Fu Panda" movie! I'm downloading this right now so I can watch it later tonight. I'm super excited to watch this reaction this evening. Have a great day & weekend! 😊 Stay Golden! 💛

Andrew Dickinson

There's quite a bit of emotion thrown into this movie, more so than the first. Po definitely has more self reliance, even though he does fumble his way through some (ok more than 50%) situations

Jakob

Was expecting X3. But still a nice surprise.

Ian

Happy Friday nat wasn't expecting this but I'm delighted although I'm off out visiting friends so will have to wait til tomorrow but thank you as always for another fantastic week of content and may you have a wonderful weekend until the next one stay golden 💛

Kevin

ugh I was expecting X-men :( but I'll take it

Sarah P

I was also expecting X3, but since I’m NOT a fan of that movie this is a wonderful surprise!

Pls watch karate kid and then the cobra kai series on Netflix , it's definitely worth to watch perhaps after you finish GOT

I'm not sure if you're looking to continue with any animated films, but here's a curveball suggestion- The Last Unicorn! It's super old (early 80s) and very dated now, and even has some songs, but the story is fantastic. They nearly made a live action version a few years back with Christopher Lee (who was in the original), but it never happened, and he sadly passed away. Anyone with me on this?!

NotlobParrot

I second this one. I saw Last Unicorn so many times as a kid, but all I really remember is being terrified of the villain.

DapperKnight

YES! I've been waiting for the this reaction

Hi Nat and Happy Friday! I didn't expect at all this movie today, nice big surprise fom you 😄 I loved the fact that you wanted a "light" movie, and in the end you had as many tears as the other movies 😆, you are so empathetic and emotional, don't change! 💛 And yeah Gary Oldman is an amazing actor whether it is for animation or a live action performance, one of my favourite 👌 I hope you're fine, take care, be safe and stay golden! 😄

It Hurt A Lot

An animated film with baby animals, daddy issues and Gary Oldman. This one was right in your wheelhouse

Julian Calzada

i think hans zimmer did the musics

Nice switch up. Cant wait to dive into this. Hey Nat, if you havent seen it and are looking for a different kind of superhero film to watch, i recommend Hancock (2008) starring Will Smith and Charlize Theron. Fun movie😁

Joel Palenychka

As someone who grew up without a father this movie hits me hard every time. The third movie is a little more silly and a little less emotional, but still good. As a very tangential recommendation I strongly recommend Kung Fu Hustle as a *very* satirical take on the classic Kung Fu genre.

Tranquil_Gnome

Yea! Switch it up. Let's have fun with this. Welcome back, Nat!

Speaking of Kung Fu, can we have a reaction to Kung Fury? ;-)

Myles Away

Daaang. Was looking forward to some good freudenschade with X3.

Steve J

Got a little bit of X-Men with the "Po's just like Wolverine" line... lol

john collins

awh man i was looking forward to x3! Oh well this movie will be super fun too!!!

Good stuff! Imma advocate for throwing 2001: A Space Odyssey into the mix one of these days, it's really something special.

Dioskur

No offence, but what does this movie do for you? I'm realy curious there. How does it entertain you? Humour? Suspense? Visuals? Music? So many people say it's good but all I hear comes down to "it's great because it is masterfully done" which is circular reasoning.

Ryan

Im actually disappointed I don’t get to watch Last Stand today, weird. Strange days indeed.

Ben Wheeler

If i've learned anything in my journeys into pop culture, it's to never sleep on a movie just because it's animated.

Anonymous

Phew for a moment there I thought we weren’t going to continue the journey!

Josh B

The Peacock as a Villian reminds me a lot of the Skeksis from "The Dark Crystal"

Xenic Mark

Actually had my copy of X3 ready. Good thing Kung Fu Panda is my second fav animation.

Daniel Vezina

Really glad you did watch the other.... can't wait to cry with you on the next one....

Please please please do Kung Fu Panda 3!!!

Misty Crom

Such a fantastic movie; and always awesome hearing Jackie Chan, Michelle Yeoh as the Soothsayer and Jean Claude Van Damme as Master Croc. Also kinda awesome being reminded of it having a female director. Makes me wonder if you've seen Raya and the Last Dragon; and if not, maybe put that down for a future reaction? As a complete aside, one very left-field watch suggestion I'd want to put out there; Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid. Early 80s Steve Martin movie that... I really can't describe without slightly spoiling it; but quite a different and clever. movie.

Ilsuk Yang

This was a nice surprise! I was expecting X-Men The Last Stand and got Kung Fu Panda 2 instead (I was wondering if/when you were gonna do this)! X3 is a fun, but flawed movie to watch, so I was looking forward to seeing you react to it, but I love the Kung Fu Panda series so I'm glad you reacted to this first! I was in the mood for something like this anyways! And I'll look forward to your X3 reaction (next week or whenever you decide to do it)!

Mike H

Cried right along with you. It was my first time seeing KFP2 as well, and I honestly felt like I was watching it with my daughter. I absolutely love watching along with you and am so sorry she doesn't believe this side of me exists. ❤ Natalie, thank you.

Ian

that was so enjoyable thanks nat for the fun reaction . when i was a kid we had a female peacock that used to roam freely in our village pretty random i know but she was beautiful and from time to time her wonderful feathers would be found in the grass etc pretty cool right :) as a child it was anyway . anyways thanks again until next week stay golden

khaliqtessi

This was my first time watching this one, and it's sooo good. Gary Oldman is always a winning point.

RebRox65

I'm thinking that it's about time Natalie resume her James Bond education (but no Daniel Craig movies this time please) original bond would be nice.

Lynden

A very great, very strange and complex villain for a western cartoon. The third movie is super cute and super respectful to adoptive parents, even if the bad guy is a little more one note.

calum1

Have you watched the shrek movies ?

Andrew Howard

Really enjoyed this, if you haven't seen Into the Spiderverse, it's an excellent animated movie, one of my all time favorites.

Tranquil_Gnome

Love the voice casting in the series of movies. I would never have guess that was Gary Oldman. Always love to James Hong as the Dad (#2). Also love to Michelle Yeoh as the goat seer.

Cripkie

not gonna watch, but i love feature friday. Reminds me of childhood.

Another fun animated move with a great cast is “Monsters Vs Aliens”.

JarHead0351

I told you - much better than HTTYD --- can't wait until the 3rd one

Lisa Tosti

I had never seen these movies and I watched the first one with you and now the second. Its a really great movie and I'm so glad you added it to your watch list because I don't know if I ever would have watched it otherwise.

For some reason, her reaction video is slower than the actual movie, so playing them at the same time does not work.
