Now please react to a video 'R+L=J' please please 😀

Anonymous

Oh boy, I've been waiting for this one

Ian

Happy thrones Thursday finale time, this is epic and I can't wait to see the reaction 💛 don't think I will be employing arya as a cook anytime soon 😀 anyways no delaying let's get started 🙂

Randee Carreno

Happy Thursday, Natalie! 😊 I'm watching this episode right now! Ever since you've started season 6 I've been waiting for this one. Definitely looking forward to seeing what you think of it. The only episode that I've seen when it originally aired. And it was a good one. And I might end up watching this reaction again later this evening. Have a great day today! 😊Until the next video, Stay Golden! 💛

Aaron Chandler

I did try to get into GoT. Really I did. I just never found it enjoyable. But I'm glad y'all are having a good time with it, even though I can't wait for it to be over so that we can move on to something else. I really enjoy watching shows with you and I miss it on GoT days. I recognize I'm in the minority. That's true of a lot of things so I'm used to it. Have fun! I'll still be here when it's time to move on to whatever is next. Barring a planet-destroying asteroid or alien invasion.

Brian Jones

Scorched earth Cersei = Best Cersei :)

Lemuel Daher

There's a video you should react to before getting into season 7. Almost every reactor watches it immediately after watching the season 6 finale. It was made after the fifth season but before the sixth, so there are no new scenes. It's called R+L=J - All show scenes compilation.

Owen James McBrearty

The three Architects of the Red Wedding were Tywin Lannister, Roose Bolton and Walder Frey. At the Red Wedding, Robb Stark is killed by crossbow, Tulisa Stark is killed by stabbing, and Catelyn by having her throat slit. And of course, Tywin is killed by crossbow, Roose by stabbing, and Walder by having his throat slit.

Tadpoleaxe

Lyanna's not stabbed. She's hemorrhaging. She's dying from childbirth.

Anonymous

The "characters moving around much faster" is definitely something that the series showrunners had to do. The pace of the books is absolutely glacial (they'll probably never be finished now) and having the series run at the same pace was never a practical option.

Anonymous

season 1: something like 3 months and multiple episodes to go from Winterfell to Kings Landing... later seasons, no comment on travel time and one act! lol

MIchelle Porter

Rhaegar Targaryen is Jons actual dad, Ned is just Jon's uncle, Robert would of killed baby Jon so Ned said it was his bastard son, Therefore Jon has always been the heir to the Iron Throne this whole timw

Tranquil_Gnome

I do love the detail they give to the opening map-song part. Changing out the banners for the locations when they change in the show. Also love how they set up things before hand. Tyrion in the last episode talked about the Mad King's plan to burn King's Landing. Bran several seasons ago told the story of the Rat King who was fed his children for breaking the hospitality customs. Nat great watching the season with you. Thank you. We are almost done with the show good or for ill. Maybe end of September, it should be all done!

Navjot Singh

Regarding the people moving so quickly, they don't. The journey can take months to complete, but the story can't wait that long for that to happen because of limited episodes. In some episodes, they can show the journey time properly. But sometimes, the jump will seem sudden. And with the last two seasons even shorter, you probably want to get used to it. :P

Calo Grsf

Hi Nat and Happy Thursday GOT! I'm proud of you, you resist for the two last episodes! 😄 (But let's be honest, your eyes were still quite wet at times 😆) This episode has several satisfying moments haha (revenge feels good sometimes hahaha, especially for the scenes with Arya/Walder Frey and Cersei's sweet revenge haha) I like your point of view, it's always interesting to hear it, I really can't wait for your little briefing with Tyler and see you go on to the next season 😀 I hope you're fine, take care, be safe and stay golden! 💛

Anonymous

Such a great episode.. it's important at this point to consider the possibilities for Jon's father. If it were Robert, he'd be a Baratheon. If it were Rhaegar, he'd be a Targaryen (the last living male Targaryen heir), and therefore he'd have a claim to the iron throne. Rhaegar was Daenerys' oldest brother, and the son of the Mad King Aerys, whose throne Robert Baratheon usurped.

Ilsuk Yang

So, in Westeros, when lords and ladies, kings and queens get married. the ladies don't actually take their husband's family name, they keep their own. So Qyburn calling Cersei "of house Lannister" is actually correct. Margery is still of house Tyrell even though she is queen. Whenever they announce Joffrey or Tommen, they always announce them "of houses Baratheon and Lannister." Anyways, I was really looking forward to how you would react to Arya enacting her vengeance upon the Freys and you did not disappoint! I also agree with you about the inconsistencies (although there are ways to explain around that that also make sense). I'm interested to see how you like season 7 and 8! Combined, they are 13 episodes in total (7 for season 7 and 6 for season 8), so you will get through them quite quickly, although some episodes will be longer than you're used to (especially in season 8).

Anonymous

As everyone else is saying, this is usually the point in the show when it's advised to watch the R+L=J video. Clears things up a lot and pieces together some subtle information.

Anonymous

The look on your face when you realized what Cersei was about to do was priceless! Glad you enjoyed this season, truly! The king Walder Frey was referring to by the way was Robb Stark of course. Also, you should react to R+L=J video. There's no spoilers in it, just clips of the first five seasons where they give small clues of Jons biological parents. https://youtu.be/3xaspBsfgRg

Jerick E

Tomen took the name King's Landing quite literally.... but if Nat has a problem with fast travel this season.... *laughs in Season 7 and 8

Anonymous

Happy to see you reach this season finale! As other have requested there is a video called R+L=J from the YouTube channel Robbie McD. It is pretty much tradition now for reactors to watch it after season 6. It has scenes from seasons 1 through 5 so there is no worry for spoilers for future episodes. It's a fun call back to clues from the first few seasons that tells you who John's father is.

Brian Jones

Some of my favorite changes to the opening were in the final season actually.... But yeah, that's always been a nice touch for the show.

Darryl Low

There were a lot of satisfying moments, and a lot of shocks in today's show, and as you say, Cersei really is crazy 😄 When you clocked those barrels Nat ... The score really added to the scope of it all. I'm looking forward to hearing you and Tyler re-capping it all, and what you think's coming up. Thanks for 2 fantastic Thrones this week Nat. Really looking forward to starting Season 7 with you next 💛

Simon Bauer

soo close to figuring out Jons history ;) keep thinking! lol

mike

I'll add to the chorus and say you should definitely watch the r+l=j video. Even if you have figured it out by now, its still worth a watch because it just shows why Ned was always the best. Also, remember Bran's creepy story about the cook in the night's watch? he killed the king's son and served him in a pie for him? and the gods cursed him to be a rat who's always hungry and can only eat the flesh of his kids? Well Frey killed a king (Robb) beneath his roof and got served his own son in a pie. How's that for foreshadowing?

fritz

People like you are the reason why I don't enjoy reactions to season 7+. So many think that everything is fair game after the season 6 finale. The things you say here are not known at this point of the show. Sure you could guess them, but they are not known and are explained in detail later. The last sentence is even an actual spoiler. Do you enjoy spoiling things for other people.

Anonymous

Watch the R+L=J video.

Valar Dohaeris

I have to say. The truth about who John's parents were is the first thing I was able to predict several seasons prior... So as a season cliffhanger no shock there. Was it the same for many of you? (Books readers apart)

john collins

well you do have to piece things together from everything we've seen so far so your not a complete dummy just kind of a dummy for not putting it together about Jon's true father... lol no need to worry though it will become clear soon!

Valar Dohaeris

"I don't think it matters who John's father is..." 🤭

Lemuel Daher

R+L=J video please!

Valar Dohaeris

"Literally every reactor watches R+L=J after the season 6 finale wtf. She should watch it" So now you know Nat. When every reactor throws themselves from a clift, you should go right behind... What a stupid argument.

Connor Ellis

The music was eerie because that's the first time a piano has been used in the whole series.

Valar Dohaeris

Yes, I'm responding to myself. After reading many comments here I know now about the whole R+L=J and that it was a thing. Boy how I love not to read anything while I'm watching something for the first time...

Anonymous

"When every reactor throws themselves from a clift," The Tommen Method

Valar Dohaeris

I don't know what that video is, but I say nope. So not let the Internet tell you how you should experience the show or feel about any specific character... Let that to the zombies army.

Stefan Johannsson

Great reaction. Missing some things from talking too much over key scenes, but we're getting used to it, lol.

Anonymous

Please don't obsess over the timeline - lots of people did this when the episodes dropped and it's just pointless. There is no clock in the show, we do not know how much time passes between each scene unless specifically mentioned - no one has any idea of the order of the scenes, other than those shown to us in the show for narrative and dramatic purpose - it is not a documentary. I don't understand why people become so obsessed with this minute factor of a "legend".

Valar Dohaeris

Welcome to the Internet were ruinning stuff is the way... I prefer to enjoy... So I avoid the whole www while watching something for the first time.

My Toasty Toast

This is so weird, I watched this on HBO Max (like you) but for some reason my version kept slowly moving ahead of yours. A few times I had to pause to let your reaction catch up

Anonymous

This has been my experience as well with all episodes I've watched along with. Closest I can get is play her video in 1.05x speed.

Anonymous

Can't wait for next week! Love your reactions <3

Obsolyeet

OK Natalie. It's time. Time to make a full departure from the comments section until you put a wrap on S8E6. Things start moving pretty fast and unfortunately people can't seem to handle it well in here. A lengthy and thorough conversation about the series can happen later on, but if you think you're going to make it to the finale without spoilers than you haven't been paying attention.

Joseph

Yeah. At this point in the series, the ladies of Westeros are running shit. Cersei, Yara, Danaerys, Sansa, Ellaria Sand, Olena.

Allan Rumberger

People always say this, forgetting that Catelyn and Ser Rodrik traveled all the way from Winterfell to King's Landing in between episodes 2 and 3, and made it back to the Inn at the Crossroads in episode 4. There are many other examples of condensed travel in the series, though perhaps not as pronounced as Varys in this episode.

Daniel Campbell MacDonald

I wouldn't get too preoccupied with characters moving around quickly, or the timeline. The producers and writers of the show have said that the storylines are all over the place when it comes to chronology and timing. For example, Jon and Stannis were both killed in the same episode of season 5, while Melisandre left the Winterfell area for the Wall too. She would have taken weeks and weeks to get back to Castle Black, but makes it back in the same episode. Sansa, on the other hand, was rescued by Brienne a few hours after the Boltons defeated Stannis. Jon was killed, resurrected and was reunited with Sansa within a few days. So, the only conclusion is that Jon was killed way after Sansa and Brienne start heading to the wall, probably when they were very close by. There are many different examples of this, and it's the same in the books. Not every storyline is happening at the same time, even if they are shown concurrently.

The Guy on the Couch

And now Natalie knows why they call the city "King's Landing"

Allan Rumberger

Biggest advice is to not read comments from here on out. You may or may not enjoy the rest of the series (some people do, some don't), but you will for sure have a miserable experience if you read the comments.

MakaPeji

Lovely reaction, now watch the R+L=J video. :)

Rune

If she wants to spoil herself on a major plot point, sure.

Ellis Hugh

@25:27 #KingsLanding

Ilsuk Yang

Well, we have to remember that this is Nat's first time watching GOT, too. It's not as if she's watched the show many times like most of us commenters have. I mean it was obvious to most of us because we kept watching the show over and over again before this point. I find, for the most part, that she's quite astute with her observations in her reactions (not just with GOT). So, her not figuring this out right away doesn't make her kind of a dummy in my opinion.

Dante

Great reaction to a great finale Nat! While it's no surprise to you now after all the comments that the next 2 seasons aren't the best (I actually still really enjoy season 7) I'd recommend staying away from the comments for the rest of the show. It's going to get quite negative quite quickly. I've also found some people have such a sour taste in their mouths they don't care about spoiling things anymore. For the comments are dark and full of terrors.

Edwin Bertilsson

Cersei Lannister is the best character in the entire series imo.

Paul Mason

Great reaction. I always forget how much is in this episode *after* the Sept blowing up. In terms of the look on Sansa's face after she sees Littlefinger - it's not that he's gotten in her head and letting him come between her and John. I think she's concerned for John. At the tree Littlefinger told her he only acts to bring himself closer to the goal of being on the Iron Throne. John has just been declared King in the North by a roomful of lords. I think the change that comes over Sansa's face is from one of love and support of her brother to concern about what Littlefinger might do. Is John now an obstacle in his way surely. Or at least Littlefinger might think so.

Anonymous

This is usually where I stop my rewatch. IMO it's all down hill from here. I look forward to seeing how you react in the future.

Anonymous

Cersei, Jaime, Robert, etc. all traveled from Kings Landing to Winterfell in episode 1. The time jumping isn't something new.

Anonymous

I love how underwhelmed they were when they finally got House Mormont's 62 men to join the fight., but Lady Mormont is a total badass. Grown men being belittled by a young girl, well she has definitely become a much greater asset than they could have imagined. The writing isn't as good from this point forward, but one thing they did get right. Arya has become the personification of The Many Faced God, or that is to say the Death incarnate.

Steven Hok

Loved your reaction Nat! I forgot how many BIG moments were in this episode lol. And yes! The sound design for this episode was amazing!

K.N.

You're right, Nat. It doesn't matter who Jon's parents are. He's still technically a bastard either way and holds no claim to anything.

Joe Blankenship

Yes, those ominous bells. Speaking of the sound design, I love that noise the dragons make right before they breathe fire. Like that weird low gurgling sound. It's cool.

Al Baughman

#TBT remember in the S4 pre-talk with Tyler he says something like " I can't wait to see Dany finally get to Westeros this season!" that was after 30 episodes. Here we are 30 episodes later and Dany is finally on the way across the sea! LOL also, talk to Tyler, I'm sure he knows who Jon's dad is!

Anonymous

If you want everything cleared up regarding Jons parentage you MUST watch this. It's NOT spoilery - youtube R+L=J. It's just over 8 mins long. Worth it. Almost worth reacting to as well. It really only uses scenes from the show that basically spell out for you all the hints throughout the series regarding his parentage

Anonymous

Im sure you know this but Stark blood runs thru Jon's veins cause Lyanna is Eddards sister.

Doug Watson

Kinda herd to run when your legs are paralyzed.

Andrew Clifton

Do not listen to anyone telling you to watch R + L = J at this point. If you watch the wrong version it will have season 7 spoilers. If you search for it on YouTube some of the thumbnails alone will have season 7 spoilers.

Andrew Clifton

If she watches the wrong version it has season 7 spoilers. Even some of the thumbnails she would see by searching it are spoilers.

Anonymous

Please watch First Man with Ryan Gosling Natalie, thanks!

Anonymous

Lol 6 full seasons and Nat still calling them "Night Walkers"

Anonymous

This has got to be one of my favourite episodes in the series. I see a lot of people are talking about the next two seasons and I’ve gotta say that I actually really liked them, though I will agree some of the writing could have been better in some places, but overall it was really good. My number 1 favourite episode of the entire series is actually in season 8.

Corey

I always thought Tommen killed himself because he was sad about Margery and maybe his failure as a King because the Sept blew up and that he figured his mom did it. But this time watching I was thinking what if he didn't put it together that his mom did it and he thought Cersi was in there as well. This would mean he thinks his entirely family is dead (because he still thinks Robert is his dad). So that makes more sense to me that he would kill himself.

Corey

People have probably already commented this but the books stop at the end of season 5, so the showrunners were basically making up this whole season which is why things go faster (which is also why I love this season haha). Also thank you for putting together that Verys got there because the Dorne ships are there, so many reactors just freak out that he got back so fast. It's like you see the other boats...that's how lol

DougRaw

I'd bet my paycheck he knows the only person in the city who'd scheme to blow the sept up with wildfire is his mother. He's not super smart but he doesn't have to be to know what just happened in that moment

Thomas Yanez

They didn't have narrative to adapt, but they did have the outline provided by Martin that laid out where he was going with the story. But, we'll only know whether they stuck to that outline if Martin finishes the books, or maybe just tells us before he dies. Maybe D&D will release the outline at some point if Martin fails to enlighten us.

Thomas Yanez

I'm with those saying she should avoid that R+L=J "spoiler" video. If she hasn't pieced things together for herself, that just means it will be a surprise when the show reveals the answer. Pushing her to seek out a third-party video that gathers together the hints she missed would ruin that surprise. I'd much rather see her surprised. I think it would make for a much better reaction video.

Steve J

couple of the GoT podcasts I listened to at the time started calling it 'Jetpacking' since the characters started obviously needing jet packs to move around so quickly. But yes, a lot of pieces to wrap up in what, 14 episodes left?

Andrew Clifton

And super concerned about burning the bodies even all the way in Kings Landing 😅🤣😭😂. I hope she's starting to get the narrative that all these story lines aren't all happening at the same time and people aren't teleporting lol.

Christopher

Exactly, it's less about people flying the map and more the show no longer pacing itself the same it was before. Some of these scenes can be days, weeks or months apart. It's just the show doesn't pace it the way it did earlier on when only days would pass per episode.

Laura Thornley

Benjen's arc feels weird because its 95% sure its not the same in the books. He's a version of the character Coldhands, who is much more obviously dead and speaks in hushed whispers and never shows his face. He's also supposedly MUCH older then Benjen, to the point he may be an original Night's Watch member from ten thousand years ago.

WackySwacky

If we started talking about all the changes made from the books, we'd be here all day. Ultimately, Game of Thrones is more of an alternate version of the story than a faithful adaptation of A Song of Ice and Fire. Maybe when the books are finished in 20 years, we will get a new adaptation that is book accurate.

Anonymous

Unless we send her the YouTube link which I have in my original comment. Smh

Anonymous

Now that both Pycell and Tywin are dead, I'd recommend watching a deleted scene they're in via youtube. Really interesting angle on Pycell they explored, but ultimately abandoned.

Anonymous

not when they spent the first five or so seasons laying out all the hints. Also, people need to stop telling her it spoil things when it doesn't.

Tom Fehr

truly one of the best episodes and seasons of tv

Anonymous

https://youtu.be/3xaspBsfgRg Here's the direct Link to the correct R+L=J video Nat. In response to all the people saying not to cause it "can" lead to spoilers by searching it up is ridiculous. Just give her the right link, lmfao. There's no spoilers as many of us said in the comments already, just clips of the first five seasons of the show where small clues were in place in regards to who jons biological parents may be.

Joe D. MacGuffinstuff

"Fire and blood," such a badass phrase, Blood and Fire, also a badass Type O Negative song 😆 Also, while I've always thought it's gross and stupid to have a favorite serial killer, I have to admit, Arya is mine. She's a ninja. And I think A Man with no name saw her as the Vengeance and the Justice of the many faced god incarnate, that's why he let her slide, and even seemed proud of her when she took her name back and left. A Man was also probably annoyed by the Waif. And how about that reveal?! It made sense to me the first time I saw it, I remembered how Ned, as honest and straightforward as he was, never liked talking about Jon's mother and it made no sense, this man who BLED Honor, would cheat on his wife? To me it all clicked, I still get goosebumps when I remember that moment when I realized who Jon really was. A contender...

Ellis Hugh

Nat was surprised that she didn't cry... but there's been enough of that. All the good people have died, it's time for the bad people to start dying! Time to stop crying and start cheering! :P

Heliastein

Just stop with the god damn video, let her watch the show she will catch up when she does. She's not missing anything by not figuring it out right now, when the information starts to matter they also drop more hints and even give the god damn information directly on the screen. She will get it when she need to and we will even enjoy the reaction so god damn leave her alone with watching the damn R+L=J video.

Ellis Hugh

Nat really does need to see the R+L=J video... no spoilers, absolutely not, but the video that shows all of the GoT scenes up to this point that set up that massive reveal. The fact that Jon is both a Stark and a Targaryen is monumentally important... but equally important is all of the ripples it sent out through the modern history of Westeros... King Robert's hatred and bloodlust for Targaryens being the primary reason why Ned fought Robert against attempting to assassinate Dany and why he never told anyone of Jon's true parentage. Ned's promise to tell Jon about his mother 'the next time he sees him', i.e. after he has become a member of the Night's Watch, forsaking all name and titles and beyond even the reach of the king. Here is a video with ABSOLUTELY NO SPOILERS, just a compilation of scenes up to this point that re-tell the details of the story and how well it's been set up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3xaspBsfgRg Also, to help understand exactly who Jon is and who Dany is in relation to him: Rhaegar Targaryen was the oldest son of the Mad King and heir to the throne. While the Mad King was truly terrible, as agreed by all, everyone who knew Rhaegar had only wonderful things to say about him. Rhaegar was killed by Robert Baratheon during the rebellion. His wife, Elia Martell (Prince Oberyn's sister) was raped and killed by the Mountain and her two children killed as well. Rhaegar's two younger siblings, his little brother and little sister Viserys and Daenerys, were smuggled away across the narrow sea. Jon Snow is the product of Ned Stark's sister Lyanna and Dany's older brother Rhaegar, despite Lyanna being promised in marriage to Robert Baratheon - Rhaegar stealing her away is what prompted the rebellion and led to all that came after. All of this is known from the show at this point, but it's been sprinkled over 60 episodes and might not all be immediately clear, so I wanted to spell it out.

Anonymous

There's time jump basically... just needs to go with it and go along. It gets more and more intense in the time jump. Sadly but yeah just needs to go with it.

Anonymous

So the information they laid out before doesn’t matter? The time they spent to make that scene perfect doesn’t matter? It only matters when they tell you the answer directly I guess 😂 and let’s not pretend she isn’t already spoiled because half of y’all practically said how everything falls apart. Now you wanna complain cause half of us suggest a valid video that has no spoilers, FOH

Michael G. Munz

Was Pycell a child molester? (Was that why all the kids got together to stab him?)

Andrew Clifton

This is my favorite episode for a reason. Epic music, epic costume design, epic acting. All the storylines are in such a great place too. Cercies got rid of everyone that was an immediate threat to her. Jon is King in the North and back home with Sansa. Arya got her revenge. Danny is on her way. Bran is almost at the wall. Now everyone's paths will start to intersect. I said it once and I'll say it again, ignore the idiots that rant and rave about how they don't like one season or another. Go in with an open mind and make your own conclusions. I remember everyone loved season 7 when it first aired and I love it still. Several great episodes but all good ones. Can't wait till next week.

Andrew Clifton

People just gotta understand that all the storylines aren't happening simultaneously.

hockeywitch

I don't know if Nat actually reads comments here because I don't think I've seen her reply back to any. In case she does, she stated it was actually Arya who revenged the Red Wedding. That's partly true. You forget the Boltons sold the Starks out because they wanted Winterfell. The Boltons were also Bannerman to the Starks and yet turned on them. John and his group defeating the Boltons was also an act of revenge for the Red Wedding. Waldo Frey was a coward and Bannerman to the Tully's so the true traitors to the Starks and the North were the Boltons. The most unforgivable sin in the eyes of the gods was to invite someone into your home and murder them while under your protection. Remember Bran telling a story very early in the series about someone who didn't take the oath of hospitality seriously which was/is an unforgivable sin so that particular oathbteaker unknowingly ate his own sons. That's a bit of foreshadowing.... What I don't get is why Nat was so confused about the identity of John's father. Robert was only betrothed to Ned's sister and it was during this time that Prince Rhaegar, abducted her. In the death bed scene, doesn't she whisper that if Robert Barratheon found out, he'd kill this baby (John) so begged Ned to protect John all costs? That doesn't make sense for Robert to want to kill his baby created with the woman he "loved. Throughout the show many commented how was strange it was that the Honorable Ned Stark would ever cheat on his wife. He wasn't that kind of person. Even Stannis said something to his wife about Ned not being that kind of person. Rhaegar was the next in line after the Mad King since he was the oldest. And from the beginning, King Robert was obsessed and declared he would kill EVERY Targaryen when he was having a discussion with Ned on the way to King's Landing. Ned's response to that was "well, you can't get to this one" and that makes sense because he (Ned) was talking about John and not Danny. Besides, John was being sent to the Wall so he'd be well hidden. Being born in Dorne, bastard John Snow should really be called John Sand. Regardless, John Snow has the blood of the Starks in his veins as his "father" Ned, told him. Enjoyed the reaction. Stay safe!

Colton Scott

The confrontation scene between Davos and Melisandre is one of my favorites. Very underrated in my opinion.

Anonymous

You have to remember that a lot of time passes during these season ending episodes, because we're moving on fast.

Anonymous

I've really enjoyed revisiting this series with you. It has reminded me why I loved it... And why I grew to hate it. But neither invalidates the other.

Anonymous

On an unrelated note, I hope Bojack Horseman and Mr Robot are on your list. They are two of the best shows I have ever seen.

Cripkie

I would say im probs bisexual. We are attracted to beauty in form. Women have soft perfect faces, gentle curves like a river. men have defined forms in their fitness, like mountains. ridges and valley's showing their work. If I was religious id say I love the soul of a person, but I'm not.

Allan Rumberger

That hasn't been revealed yet. What is wrong with you?

Anonymous

Likely weeks have past between some of these scenes. Jamie travelling from Twins to Kings Landing, which has to be a few hundred miles, should have taken 2-3 weeks on horse. Lot longer if he brought the army. Not like they're introducing new characters or developing the main ones much now!

Anonymous

I remember liking this episode but I forgot how good it was before rewatching it. My only gripe is luring Lancel down to the wildfire room seems kind of pointless, just something to add some faux drama to the scene which was not really needed imo.

Anonymous

Seconded. People are getting too comfortable talking about things that aren't set in stone by this point in the show.

Anonymous

Look at the very suggested videos that go with that one. Spoilers in both titles and thumbnails. Some fans of this show spend too much time online, I swear. Let people watch at their own pace and stop pushing obsessive fan cruft on them.

Leaf on the Wind

Ok, this has been bugging me since season one. She keeps messing up the pronunciation of Maester (It's like May-ster), but now she keeps calling the Maesters "Masters," and in the slave cities, she keeps calling the Masters "Maesters." This is bugging me more than her calling the White Walkers "Night Walkers."

she sayed.. i really dont think it matters who jhon's father is ,,, uhmmm.. youre missing a big point here ,, if either rhaegar or rober is the father there is still a huge implication ..

About Cersei, not sure if anyone else has realized this, but when you swap the syllables of her name, what does it sound like? Caesar. Don't think it's a coincidence

Leaf on the Wind

I am going to piss of so many spoiler police with this post. Between now and the end of the series these things will happen: 1. Some people are going to die. 2. Some people are going to have sex. 3. There are going to be events involving dragons. 4. Draco's father will hear about all of this.

Hi Natalie! Have you watched Lost? If not you should definitely watch that one next!! Loving your GOT reactions by the way:)

Ramin Djawadi's "Light of the Seven" was the best part of this season. I've used the music for some D&D campaigns because it's so good. I feel like everything around you is falling as it crescendos. The score really went well with Cersei's plan.

I honestly feel like it would have been better and more dramatic if he had managed to blow out two of the votivs before the third one touched the wildfire. Otherwise, him just crawling toward the candles and kind of cluelessly watching them seemed like it only served to lay the pipe for the audience that Wildfire was under the sept.

*me waiting for you to figure out who Jon's father is*

Robb Stark was stabbed by Roose and Robb was hurt by a crossbow

I just watched episode 5 and I'm wondering if the overly analytical and negative reactions continue. Usually it doesn't happen until season 7 but it seems like its starting earlier these days.

One time I cheered for Cersei.. I loved MArgaery though. Wish she didn't die in that. But I've wanted the Sparrow to die since he first showed up. I was so disappointed when the Tyrell and Lannisters didn't kill them in the streets. As for Tommen, I wish he became a man and decided to just kill every sparrow. He's king and his word is law but he didn't. He turned into a little wimp so I didn't care when he died. Yeah he's a kid, but if I were him, I would have just ordered every Lannister soldier to march not he Sept and kill them. If it comes to blood, so be it.

Yes, you are a 'bit' of a dummy not piecing it together who Jon's father is. Sufficient clues 'have' been given in the past. That said, you are far from alone. Most people at this point in the series still didn't get it.

When Sam walks into the citadel library for the first time, the astrolabe hanging from the ceiling is the same from the opening credits.....
