Waiting for the finale made this a rough week but Marvel Monday is finally upon us again! - As mentioned in a previous post I do hope you will check out and react to the "behind-the-scenes" series called 'Assemble' on D+ - 1 episode for each of the MCU shows and I think you'd love it :)

Ian

Happy marvel Monday Nat and everyone. finale time! no idea if we will be getting a short break before falcon and winter soldier or not that remains to be seen, hope you had a lovely weekend Nat and are feeling a lot better 💛 here we go then GOT my drink and got my 4th ice cream of the day because its stupid hot and normal food is a no today lol OK let's hit that play button 🙂

Jomero

Very nice. Also, having just finished Loki, I can't wait for you to watch that show featuring your favorite MCU character. All of the Marvel Disney+ shows have been very good (but I think "Loki" is a cut above the rest).

Bruce Bromley

Great finale. Love the Blade Runner "Tannhäuser Gate" Easter Egg on the movie marque.

Texas Anla'Shok

I liked your breakdown of the progression of the show. In the end, that was the real Wanda out on the deck and her Astral Projection in the back room, a la Dr. Strange, studying the same way he did. So, what do you think Fury's up to up there? Who else could be working with the Skrulls?

Niklas

Wanda will be in "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" (2022) next, and possibly in the new Spider-Man film coming this December as well.

Anonymous

Wanda is going to be in the next Doctor Strange movie. I guess that is where we pick back up with her story.

Anonymous

I really never cry at stuff but this finale made me bawl lol Glad you seemed to like this show as much as I thought you would even if there is sad stuff at the end. Love Wanda can't wait to see more of her, she will def be back in more movies etc, she's one of the most powerful people now it seems. The other 2 shows don't matter which order you watch, I'm definitely more excited to see you watch Loki it seems more your thing tbh. Black widow end credit scene does have a link to falcon and winter soldier.

Anonymous

It continues in the next Doctor Strange movie

WalkingTaako

Monica is going to be in The Marvels (Captain Marvel sequel).

Andrew Dickinson

No more season, but straight into Doctor Strange II..

Calo Grsf

Thanks Nat for your great reaction! I loved how invested you were with Wanda 😄, I liked her too, she's a tragic and powerful character. But there will be no season 2 but Marvel said she will come back in the next Spider Man (normally) I really liked the show but a bit sad we didn't see or heard any mention about a great character (a vilain I really liked haha maybe too soon for him haha) And yeah I agree Marvel is maybe doing too much with their shows haha I'm just glad you liked it and looking forward for the next step 😃 I hope you're fine, take care, be safe and stay golden! 💛

WalkingTaako

As is Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel) who is being introduced in her own TV series later this year.

Darryl Low

Hope you had a great weekend Nat. I loved Syncing Natalie and Filming Natalie. They are so in tune with one another 😊 That was a packed finale, and was emotional to see Wanda saying farewell to her family. In that final scene when she is studying, you hear the first bar of the Doctor Strange theme hinting that, as people above have said, that's where you'll see Wanda next. I'm of the opinion that you should just carry on watching in release order. Keeps everything simple. Thanks for a really cool video today Nat 💛

WalkingTaako

You do NOT need to have watched Falcon and the Winter Soldier to "understand" the thing in Black Widow. Black Widow was supposed to come out first, so the thing that happens was intended to be the audience's first time knowing about this thing.

Anonymous

I think you should stick to the release order

Patrick Armbruster

I truuuuuuuuuly, truly hope you'll just keep with the release order for the MCU. The D+ series are VERY clearly part of the MCU and contain VERY important links for future MCU films. I'm so glad you're up to date with WandaVision now, because that means you're where I am, and my speculation can't really be spoilers, since I don't know either: But the white version of Vision is still around. So when Wanda (probably) will meet him, it'd be very strange if you _hadn't_ watched WandaVision at the right time. The last end credit scene clearly _is_ a cliffhanger that'll have to be taken up in a future MCU release (we're told it's gonna be a movie release, I don't think that's a spoiler). The other MCU D+ series will also have links to future Marvel movies. We know they always have a long plan besides each iteration's story.

Randee Carreno

Happy Marvel Monday, Natalie! 😊 This is one of my favorite episodes of the series. About the mid-credit scene- I think that the Skrull who was sent to Monica(who still has her powers)was sent by Nick Fury. If you remember from the "Spider-Man: Far From Home" end-credit scene, Fury was on a Skrull spaceship. And that's a tease that Monica will be in the 2nd "Captain Marvel" movie. The 2nd end-credit scene- That was Wanda's astral form that was studying from the book. And the theme music that played when she heard her children's voices was the Doctor Strange theme music. That's a tease that Elizabeth Olsen is going to be in the 2nd "Doctor Strange" movie, "Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness". 😊 In my opinion, I would watch "Falcon and the Winter Soldier" before the "Black Widow" movie. Because there is something or someone that would make more sense for you if you watch "Falcon and the Winter Soldier" first. Have a great day today! 😊 Until the next video, Stay Golden! 💛

Anonymous

Natalie I beg you, watch first man with ryan gosling

Dan Careaga

Loki is actually first in the timeline of the TV shows, it technically happens while endgame is happening, though the Time in which it takes place is… kinda the point . But you should probably just stick to release order.

George Baxter

Great Reaction! Could have done without the nose blowing but I get it... Its weird to hear someone complain about getting too much Marvel stuff; the rest of us were waiting years to get to this point!! I liked your thoughts on the plot conveniences though. They start to happen later in this show; similar shortcuts appear in Loki and Falcon as well... I think Marvel are so concerned about character they cut stuff that distracts. The shows cover a lot of ground very quickly and sometimes stuff is resolved unsatisfactorily or just too easily. I hope they learn to incorporate theme and plot better into their narratives but honestly its still done better than any other story universe.

john collins

So there were a couple things you didn't seem to pick up on or understand so I'll do my best to help ya out! So the vision within the hex was the small portion of power from the mind stone that was put into wanda during the experiments hydra did on her. This is not how she got her powers, she was born with magic powers and the mind stone experiment was a catalyst for her power to grow and her be able to control it. This combination of her natural powers and the mind stone is what causes her to become the scarlet witch. Like agatha said the scarlet witch is not born she is forged and we see that happen in the episode that we go through wandas memories, when the experiment is performed on her we see not only the mind stones power enter her but the silhouette of the scarlet witch basically coming into her as well. That portion of the mind stone within her disappears along with the hex version of vision when she undoes the hex. Also, the way she trapped agatha was basically doing a miniature version of the control magic she had over the whole town but just on agatha so even after the hex comes down she is still controlled. They haven't announced a scarlet witch film but it seems to me that is the likely next step because we have barely scratched the surface of the stories about wanda from the comics. I'd wager the end credit scene was to give us some insight into what the scarlet witch movie will be about which is why we hear tommy and billy again at the end.

Ian

Dr strange was meant to have a cameo at the end and although that would have been cool to see the powers that be decided to cut his scenes as not to take the focus off Wanda no worries though all will come to light in Dr strange 2 I'm so pumped for that movie 🙂

Anonymous

Yeah, kinda surprised the credits didn't say "THE SCARLET WITCH WILL RETURN IN DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS" because that's what's next. Set to come out 03/25/2022. Monica will reunite with Carol Danvers in "The Marvels" (along with the young Ms. Marvel, Kamala Khan), scheduled 11/11/2022 As for watch order of the series, I would watch them as you're planning to. If you're into characters with traumatic backstories, there's quite a few in the future, like Blade and Moon Knight. (Release date TBD)

Xanbry

she returns in Dr Strange

Brian Jones

The ending of WandaVision is the leadup for the next Doctor Strange film.... Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. Wanda is listed in the cast for the film. This was really the only Disney+ marvel production I personally enjoyed. Primarily for the production design, music, and the depth that it explored her character. Yes, you do need to watch Falcon and the Winter Soldier to understand the Black Widow end credit scene, but not Loki, although it sounds like you're looking forward to Loki anyway so I think that's a given. :) Great reaction as always.

Anonymous

no more seasons, Wanda will be up in Dr. Strange 2

Joel

Gonna be bluntly honest with you Nat. You’ve gone through the Infinity Saga and started Phase 4. If you don’t expect yourself to react/watch any content going further then you will be somewhat lost. It appears as though Marvel expects you to continue to expose yourself to future content. For instance, Wanda will be in the second Dr Strange film. Falcon and Winter Soldier tie into a new direction with the Captain America/Avengers story. Loki clearly has implications with the multiverse going forward. Monica will be in the second Captain Marvel movie. This won’t stop, so I suggest you have a sponsor you want to fill in any details you miss or settle on watching everything

Anonymous

In my opinion and another group of reactors I’ve watched did it this way I recommend watching black widow after finishing falcon and the winter soldier just to keep a certain something fresh in your mind when watching it back to back

A Vicarious View

At the end, Wanda was reading the Darkhold. This book was set up in Agents of SHIELD and made an appearance in The Runaways. It is a book of magic written by an evil elder God/Demon and corrupts whoever reads it. It will show you how to achieve your greatest wishes but give you the darkest, most destructive path to get it. This sets up Wanda to be one of the primary villains in "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness". I assume she will be on an even darker path to get her kids back from a different universe where they are still alive. On the note of watching Black Widow...Yes, the credit scene relates back to Falcon and the Winter Soldier. The end of Loki will then relate to how Wanda hears Billy's voice and will set up the events for the entire MCU moving forword. Most notably, Spiderman: Far From Home, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Antman & the Wasp: Quantumania.

Anonymous

Watch order of Black Widow and Falcon and the Winter Soldier doesn't really matter. Black Widow was postponed like you said and watching either end credit scene first doesn't break or make the other. Release order is just fine but you won't be missing anything, going for Black Widow or even Loki frist.

Anonymous

Also, Dr Strange was responsible for the commercials in the show. Wanda is ridiculously overpowered and it looks like her story is just getting started. Monica is Photon from the comics this was kind of her origin.

Mike LL

Any one who told you that you have to watch The Falcon and The Winter Soldier before the Black Widow movie doesn't know what they are talking about, because, as you know, the Black Widow movie was supposed to come out in late April of 2020, and then was delayed some 14+ months. There is a "thing" about these two Marvel properties, but the truth is that no information in one spoils the other. I think it is wonderful that you might wait to see Black Widow until we can all share a viewing here. You're the best, Natalie!

Chief

Kind of a telling point was that the music in the last post-credits scene, where she is studying, is a subtle version of the Doctor Strange theme (along with the fact that she's doing astral projection while studying/reading, like he has done in his first movie).

Guy-on-Couch

Hey Nat!!!!! to answer your question about which order to do...You can watch Black Widow 1st if you want because technically it was supposed to be released prior to any of the Disney+ series' The end credit scene from Black Widow and a scene in Falcon do have to do with each other but the order they happen doesn't really matter....As far as Loki goes...again it doesn't matter because that series doesn't really effect anything about Black Widow and vice versa.....

Ellis Hugh

Seriously, Nat... if you want to understand things the best way and follow things in the best order you need to watch the Loki series next, then Falcon & the Winter Soldier and then Black Widow. You can't go with release order for a number of reasons, including the fact that the pandemic forced them to alter their release order.

Michael Cruse

I find that being a comic book reader is a bit of a double-edged sword. Sometimes it helps me know what's going on and what's coming, but sometimes I don't know if they're pulling from Story X, or Story Y, or Story Z, or writing from scratch, and I just get even more lost. The two post-credit scenes are both set-ups for movies coming out next year. Wanda will be appearing in the Dr Strange sequel, and Monica will be in The Marvels, along with Carol Danvers and Kamala Khan (who will be introduced in the show Ms. Marvel later this year). Don't know if we'll see White Vision again. My understanding is that while he remembers his past, he doesn't have any of the emotional connections, so who knows what he'll do. I think seeing Falcon & Winter Soldier before Black Widow works better for the end-credit stuff, even though that's backwards from the original plan. But either way should be fine. Just finished watching Loki here in real-time-land, and boy howdy that was a fun trip. Looking forward to your reactions to that one when you get to it.

Simon Bauer

Loki next? it's a lot better too :)

Matt Gwinn

I think they're continuing Wanda's story in the new Dr. Strange movie

Anonymous

When in doubt, follow the release order. Keep it simple and don't overthink it.

Patrick Armbruster

? ... WandaVision is truly a masterpiece. A piece of art that leaves the whole MCU in its dust, although it also stands on its shoulders, of course. Loki is ... good fun.

Opti_Frog

WandaVision is one of the best tv shows ever made. Period. For me, nither TFATWS or Loki came close to the intrigue and emotion present in WV. It is also one of the best MCU productions as well! The premise is so absurd that it could easily have been terrible, but thanks to excellent writing, direction and plotting, it became extraordinary. I want to see more Marvel stuff from this team.

Matthew Shaver

The nose blowing was OK cause I was too.

Tranquil_Gnome

I love this conclusion to the series. Thanks for watching with us.

Anonymous

I thought another parallel that was there was the stages of grief (believe there are 5 but some places show 7 or 12). So in the beginning flat out denial, editing out people questioning the reality. Bargaining to just be left alone. Anger when Vision started questioning the reality. Depression when it started collapsing and then finally acceptance in the end. Just another take on it.

Dani

Wanda's story will be continued in Dr Strange 2. Some speculate she will be the villain in the movie.

Kayla

You definitely don't need to watch TFATWS before Black Widow because like you and many others stated, Black Widow was intended to be released before TFATWS.

OctaviusLee

I'm ashamed to admit that when I saw TFATWS I thought "The Fast And The.... wait that's not right."

Brandon Scott

Whoever told you that about the end credit scene and needing to watch TFATWS before Black Widow is mistaken. Neither do anything to spoil the other snd Black Widow was meant to come out first. The only argument for one over the other is that the studio would rather reveal significant things in films rather than a series but for the fans it really doesn’t matter. Just in case no one mentioned it, there will not be a show centered on Monica. She will return (at least most significantly) in Captain Marvel 2 (The Marvels). Probably what I’m looking forward to the most — though Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness is up there on the list.

mike

"They will never know what you sacrificed for them" huh? the people Wanda trapped with mind control?? I can't help but feel disappointed at this finale. The lead up I thought was very well done and promising but the ending left a lot to be desired imo.

Kevin Mowery

Nothing currently out on D+ needs to be seen in a particular order. There is a common element between "Falcon" and "Black Widow," but they were intended to be released with Black Widow first, and the director has said we were supposed to see the common element first there, but it's actually explained more in "Falcon," and even that isn't a lot. More of an "oh, I know that from the comics," if you knew it from the comics. So don't sweat it. So far the D+ shows have done a pretty good job of putting the toys back on the shelf. Like, when we finished Endgame, we knew that Vision was gone and we didn't know where Wanda might have gone. We got a story exploring Wanda's grief, but aside from a new costume, a new name, and new powers, she's still Wanda. But Marvel has a *ton* of stuff in the works, not helped by everything being delayed a year plus. I'm pretty sure their ultimate plan is to move to year-round shows, so that there's always a Marvel and a Star Wars show either on or about to be on D+. If you want to skip some stuff, I'd be happy to summarize any of the shows or movies you'd rather pass on. Or if you want to take some breaks between shows and movies, that's cool, too.

Adam Stanley

Just wondering when will these loaded on youtube with the pip shorten edition. I find it to difficult to do watch along bit still wish to support you but would still like to see your reactions with context.

Stefan Johannsson

We should have had a blow-ur-nose-o-meter, lol. Like a drinking game....Drink anytime Natalie blows her nose, hahah. All in good fun. Btw, if you knew more about Monica Rambeau's powers in the comics, it would make more sense to you, but makes sense that you're confused. She's been known as Photon, Pulsar and Spectrum and can "transform herself into any form of energy within the electromagnetic spectrum".

Aaron Chandler

They say that the best villains have relatable motivation. Motivation that from their own perspective makes their actions pure and just. That was the genius of this show. You get emotionally attached to Wanda and empathize with what she did. But she is the villain of this show. Anybody trapped in that town would call her a villain. That line from Monica does kind of undercut the message.

Shubham Bhardwaj

You should react to the see you at marvel movies trailer

Joel Palenychka

The Loki series and this series both lead into the next Dr. Strange movie. Inspiring speculation is one of the big goals of these limited series. I agree with the others that Falcon doesn't need to be watched before Loki, but I think you will enjoy it either way.

MightyHobo

You are going to love Loki. Especially one particularly theatrical character.

Ilsuk Yang

Wanda was astral projecting at the end (like Doctor Strange does). She's studying the Darkhold (the book Agnes mentioned earlier) to see if she can find some way to bring her kids back.

Anonymous

Loved it. Watching the shows in order is probably a good idea although I don't think it matters at all with Loki. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier...not my favourite characters from the movies but I think the show did some incredible things.

Anonymous

Wanda vs. Agatha and Vision vs. Vision are my two favorite 1 on 1 fights in the MCU. Wanda used every one of her powers at least once and then used a new one she learned last episode. Peak fight design.

Connor Ellis

It's Fury. Fury wants to meet Monica again

Connor Ellis

Wanda was Astral Projecting like Doctor Strange and the Sorcerer's can, except she can stay conscious while doing so, unlike Strange, who falls to ground anytime he Astral Projects himself

Tom Fehr

please dont even bother with Falcon and Winter Soldier.. so not worth it

MakaPeji

Falcon and Bucky were both dusted so it couldn't have happened during Endgame :)

Shadowen

The order Marvel/Disney intended it to be watched is Wandavision -> Black Widow -> Falcon and the Winter Soldier -> Loki. From my understanding that was the intended release/viewing order

MakaPeji

Despite what everyone is saying you do need to watch TFATWS before Loki. Loki takes things from the movies as well as the other 2 D+ shows. TFATWS also deals with real world problems which i think you would like. The Black Widow end credit scene happens long before what happens in TFATWS, chronologically. Loved your reaction to the series, stay blessed :)

This_Jedi_crafts

I don't know if anyone else has mentioned it - I was viewing this after work hours (ET) so the comments grew and grew by the time I finished watching your reaction BUT....I was highly confused by Agatha (as well) not having read the comics. That was part of my initial frustration with the series. I ended up turning to The New Rockstars - a HUGE YouTube channel and it's creator - who is clearly a massive comic book fan, is really (and in a very humorous way) able to do episode breakdowns as well as point out "Easter Eggs" and has very artfully shown how this next phase of the MCU is being woven together between the large and small screens. You may want to check out his episodes, on YouTube, once you begin Loki - which is an A-MAZING show - incredible cast and just kept me engaged, excited and wanting MORE! And I noticed that Tom Hiddleston is an "Executive producer" for the series so he's SUPER invested! Thanks for another great reaction video (and speedy recovery from the cold)!

Anonymous

Would also say you “don’t have to watch Falcon and Winter soldier…however and I’ll put a Spoiler Warning here…….the end credit of Black Widow does tie into TFAWS….wonder if perhaps they might to the Thunderbolts…so while not a necessity it may be worth checking out even if on your own.

Fawks

Technically they wanted Black Widow to be first. And I'm pretty sure Falcon and the Winter Soldier after that before diving completely into the bonkers stuff like Wanda and Loki. But ultimately, release order is ALWAYS the way to go.

Amos T Fairchild

Wandavision, Falcon and Winter Soldier, Loki, Black Widow, are all fairly independent of each other so order not so critical. But release order is always a safe bet.

Joe Blankenship

Wanda will most definitely be in an upcoming movie. Scarlet Witch is one of the most powerful beings in the universe. She can conjure matter out of nothing. Most supernatural characters are just bending and rearranging matter. (I’d say save Black Widow for when we can all watch along on Disney+ without dropping 30 dollarydoos.)

Kevin Bartelen

I'm pretty sure the first post credits scene is a teaser for Captain Marvel 2, not another show... The second one, in case you missed it, the book she was studying was the Darkhold - aka the book of the damned - that Agatha had been talking about. My guess why she heard her kids is to represent that she maybe thinks she found a way to bring them back As for the other shows, I think you need to watch them for the movies that are on their way, but not necessarily before Black Widow. There is a link between Black Widow and Falcon And Winter Soldier but Black Widow was supposed to come out first and the links don't exactly lead up to each other, but rather connect like two parts of a puzzle.

Cerra101

The shows are companions for the movies. This series will lead into dr strange 2. Monica’s end credit is for captain marvel 2/the marvels movie not a tv show. And the man the skrull was talking about was Nick Fury who’s in space right now.

Matthew Periolat

Well, I’m with you, Wanda just became a favorite over the course of the movies, but Endgame and this cemented her. Will she be back? Yes. When? Well, now THAT would be telling and I don’t spoil. Patience. Regarding order, that’s actually tough for me. WandaVision and TFAWS make sense for order, but I’m not sure if I’d do Black Widow before Loki or not. What makes it tricky is Black Widow (FINALLY!) came out before Loki was finished airing. I’ll say I trust your judgment on order. We’re in no hurry either way. As of right now, Agents of SHIELD and the Netflix Marvel stuff isn’t required, so you could easily do them after Thrones is done and be fine. Or watch in your own time. Or not at all. Strictly your call for the moment. I’m mad though. Kathryn Hahn was a discovery for me in WandaVision (haven’t seen Parks and Rec) and just adore her. But she’ll never not be “the FABULOUS Kathryn Hahn!” to me now, so thanks for that! I know the Loki fans are gonna hate me, but I think this is the best of the D+ series to date. Interested to see what you think as we go along. Still Golden.

Erik Stevenson

Hey Nat, loved the reaction to this series! I'll always re-watch Marvel/MCU movies and shows with you, but with the number of D+ shows they have coming up I would definitely say you should only watch the ones that interest you.

Thomas Yanez

Release order is always, always best. Except for "Firefly". Everything else, though. *nods*

Anonymous

Monica's eyes changing is more about simply giving the audience a visual clue that she has some kind of power, or is using that power. And it looks cool. They don't really go into her power's in the show, I believe, on purpose. Monica does not know she has powers, or what they can do ... so we are in the same position as her, surprised as they happen without much explanation.

Alan Kobb

I don't know what your plans are for Black Widow, and what you can do technically and still be able to record a YT reaction, but it will be free on Disney+ starting on October 6th, which isn't really that far away. Maybe you might consider doing an opening night Black Widow live reaction watch party with your patrons? I bet there's a few thousand of your closest friends who would love to join you for it!!!

Ortizmo2000

"I did not see that coming". You have no idea how significant that statement is especially where this show is concerned. :oD

Anonymous

Wanda will be in the next Doctor Strange film, “The Multiverse of Madness.” The music that played when you see the Astral version of Wanda was Doctor Strange’s theme. In fact he was originally supposed to have a cameo at the end. As for Monica, she will be in “The Marvels” which will feature Captain Marvel and Ms. Marvel. The person who would like to speak to her was Nick Fury.

Kevin Mowery

There is a TV show coming out, set for 2022 but I don't know the exact date, that seems like it might be leading right off of this ending. The Marvels isn't due out until November 2022, so the odds are the TV show will be out first. No idea whether it's going to have Monica (or Carol) in it, though. or when it's actually going to be set.

Mike LL

A little bit of Marvel comics trivia. Monica Rambeau was Marvel's first female Captain Marvel. Carol Danvers was introduced in the comics as Ms. Marvel. Monica was a big time Avenger, changing her superhero name to Photon, and she was even the leader of the team at one time. Of course the MCU Monica is very different and has a unique origin story, don't mind that at all, it will be great to see her in a movie fully powered up.

Ortizmo2000

Most certainly watch Falcon/WS before seeing Black Widow. The BW end-credit scene will make more sense. Also, it really doesn't matter if you watch F/WS before or after Loki. All that's worth noting is that F/WS is a more realistic show to provide a break from the mystical/magical side of Marvel, where Loki is deeply alternate existance/Sci-Fi based, even more so than WandaVision.

Anonymous

This show wrecked me. I was such a mess watching the last few episodes. I’d say release order is totally fine. But watch however you want! It’s fun re-watching along with you. Thanks for all of this!

Misty Crom

With the Black Widow/FATWS ordering with the Black Widow end credits scene; I think it'd work as well either way round. It'd play differently, sure, but that's all I think. Absolutely loved rewatching this series with you also; really is interesting watching it from the beginning knowing what's going on; all the times Hayward says about Wanda stealing Vision's body etc... - and did Darcy ever get that cup of coffee?! Maybe that's why she refused the debrief... no coffee. We'll definitely see Wanda again in one of the upcoming movies, and I'm fairly certain we'll see Rambeau in another upcoming movie too. Hopefully also more of Wu too - I'm sure we'll see him in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. I hope so anyways. But as you say, up next: The Sam and Bucky Adventure Hour! Or, Adventures of a 106 Year Old Man! Or just Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Anonymous

started paying you just to watch this, but definitely sticking around. Thanks Natalie!

Richard Ryan

I know you've got many things on your plate, but when you mentioned you like a story that comes from a place of grief, I thought you might consider "Agent Carter". It's a couple of seasons of Peggy's life after Steve missed their date.

Heliastein

I don't know how much has been said already but i wont re-read 100 comments to be sure. So here we go, wanda will next be in Dr Strange the multiverse of madness. So it will tie in with the end of wandavision. Monica will be in the next capitain marvel movie so she wont have a tv show, at this time anyway. The guy that wants to see monica at the end is Fury that we last saw at the end of far from home in a space ship. Keep watching the tv shows there's only 3 so far, wanda was the longest, the next 2 shows only have 6 episodes each. Then we're back to movies only for a while. There's more shows planned but nothing close to release i don't think. You can watch in any order at this point tbh. Black widow was intended to be released before falcon. In both the movie and the tv show the thing work in both ways. You will only be able to say oh it's that thing from that other thing whatever order you choose. None reveal more about it or spoils it for the other. Also you could watch loki before falcon if you wanted to, those are completely separated and have absolutely nothing to do with each others whatsoever.

Anonymous

I know falcon and the winter soldier should be next, but it needs to be Loki! lol

Devin Nease

What If comes out in a month, then we have Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk coming to D+ as well this year.

Travis

Alright so to answer some of your key questions or things that didn’t quite click: 1) Monica Rambeau is known by a couple names. She’s called Photon or Pulsar (she eventually becomes Captain Marvel). Her powers have to do with her being able to manipulate electromagnetic energy. When she comes through Wanda’s force field originally remember how weird everything looked? It was because that’s how she sees the world now. She sees the energy around things like an aura. That is how she was able to notice the incantation on the necklace and remove it from Ralph Bohner. A name you didn’t laugh at as nearly as hard as I did 😂 That also explains how she was able to phase her body into pure energy so the bullets pass through her. 2) at the end credit scene Wanda is pouring her self coffee while astral projecting herself similar to what Dr Strange did in his movie when he was studying while asleep. She heard her child’s voice because they are most likely still alive in some sort of dimension of the multiverse. Wanda is a NEXUS being (the prescription drug in one of the ads was called “nexus” in a nod to this). A nexus being is a being that is consistent throughout all the multiverse. So while there may be several different variations of Loki, Captain America, Thor, etc.. there is only one Wanda. Agatha also said something about The Scarlet Witch being more powerful than the sorcerer supreme, FYI the current sorcerer supreme is Dr. Strange after his mentor died. This confirms that Wanda is one of the most power beings in the MCU. Captain Marvel is technically the most powerful but their powers are very differently You made a comment about not being familiar with the source material creating more surprise. It’s both true and untrue. They did a decent job of hiding Agatha. Some people thought it might be her but the prevailing theory while the show was going on was that it was Mephisto (a devil type character). I think not knowing the source material hurts you in not recognizing things as they arise, like Evan Peters being the same character from the x-men films, Wanda and Vision in their customary comic costumes for Halloween, wandas children’s powers etc. There are good videos online that are quite short that you could watch in between episodes by screen crush that could answer a lot of questions for you before they derail your thinking while your watching the show. There have been a few times where you have had a reaction that you think something is corny or cheesy but you actually don’t understand what’s happening or why it’s relevant. Either way it’s been a blast to watch with you. I DON’T think you absolutely NEED to watch falcon and the winter soldier, I’m sure some type of recap will suffice. You will thoroughly enjoy Loki though and it is vital to setting up what is to come in the MCU.

I'm so psyched to watch Loki with Nat, I saw the the first episode and loved it, and immediately after watching was struck by the notion, I should wait to watch the rest of it with her, that'll be so much more fun! Wandavision was so great, it really validated how great a "comic book" show can be, with real depth and character, not just about action and funky costumes. I loved how it dealt with grief as a central motivation, I won't go into my personal reasons obviously but I really related to some of the themes in this show. And it was just so well done, creative, fun, they knew what it was and delivered on so many levels, story, characters, suspense, and of course action. Maybe I could find fault in it, but what can I say, I'm a fan not a critic. Also, this show got me excited about phase 4 of the MCU, Doctor Strange is a favorite character of mine, I was kind of a comic book nerd when I was a kid but I don't know much about these deep cuts, (I had to look up Agatha Harkness) but I'm excited to see how the filmmakers adapt the comics, which were great story lines but also sometimes convoluted, seemed to me.

David Olden

I’m voting for Loki next.

Colby Cordner

Definitely watch Falcon and the Winter Soldier before Black Widow, and GET EXCITED FOR LOKI

"They'll never know what you sacrificed." Boy, what an awful line. She enslaved an entire town and subjected them to mental torture for weeks, and Wanda and Monica expects them to be understanding because she was sad? Because she had to undo her imaginary family? She's a villain. She is not a good person.

Think of how Dr. Strange was studying as he slept, Wanda can do it while awake truly showing how powerful she is. Also the lore behind the Darkhold is nuts. They've changed a lot from the comics but the key points are still there and to see where this will lead/who it'll lead to will but a hell of a ride. Both Wanda Vison and Loki are setting up key points/plots for the next 2 Big Marvel movies (Antman and Dr. Strange). I don't want to spoil anything so I'll stop typing now.

You could skip The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and go RIGHT to Loki. You could watch BLACK WIDOW whenever. It doesn't really matter when you watch Falcon and the Winter Soldier, even with the end credits scene from Black Widow. It wouldn't matter if you saw that end credits scene before you watched The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Loki is the MOST important thing to watch I'd say. So yeah... LOKI Black Widow The Falcon and the Winter Soldier That's the watch order you could get away with.

Those of us who watched Agents of Shield were introduced to the book, the DarkHold. It is not a good sign that Wanda is studying it. I haven't read any comics since long before these characters were written, so I don't know the source material, but that last post credits scene is disturbingly ambiguous. She is reading the DarkHold, and hears her children calling for help. This is not good.

Robert Reichle

Falcon and Winter Soldier is pretty humdrum compared to WandaVision and Loki. Very much filled with... fist fights. I had to watch it to find out, but in the end, it really only had one point to it all. They could have just told me about that in an email, and it would have been fine. :)

Ben Gilshenan

Hey nat now that your done time to explain some things the scarlet witch is the name of wandas character in the comics like how steve is captian america wanda is the scarlet witch the he she was refering to in the post credit scene people are speculating its nick fury as we saw him in space at the end of spider man far from home wanda is ment to return in Doctor strange 2 which was hinted with the music at he end of her post credit scene being the doctor strange theme just in a diffrent style and slowed and monica is ment to be in captain marvel 2 or the marvels as they are calling it fun fact there was a deleted scene of Dr strange cameoing it has be assumed that he was sending wanda messages through those ads you see to try and break her out super excited for Falcon and the winter soilder it is considered the weakest of the 3 series but i really enjoyed it

On the 2 year anniversary can we have a blow-nose montage

Tay Schumaker

Agree to keep the release order. As others have said the Black Widow lost credit scene makes less sense without seeing FATWS first, but it doesn’t spoil anything. But FATWS is short, fun, and introduces some interesting topics and debates. I’d agree to just keep the original order, plenty of time to get through it all.

Ryan

Watch FatWS Loki and BW in any order you want there is no hard and fast order they must be watched in, just get them all done before DS:MOM and the Hawkeye show.

Edwin Bertilsson

This and Loki set up for the Multiverse of Madness movie. The Darkhold was introduced in Agents of Shield.

Aaron Chandler

At one point she blew her nose at the exact same time as Wanda kissed her sons forehead. It took me a second to realize the sound didn't come from Wanda. Now I'm disappointed that it didn't.

Cameron Smith

If you were to watch anymore Marvel shows, I'd suggest you watch Loki before Falcon/Winter Soldier, because F&WS connects to Black Widow in a way. I don't want to spoil anything, but that's the comfortable way to go about it.

Agents of Shield (and everything that wasn't made by Marvel Studios, but instead for Netflix or Marvel TV Studios) is not part of the cannon, said Feige

Tony Sanson

As much as I enjoyed Falcon and the Winter Soldier, I would say you can wait to watch it later after Black Widow since the movie has ties to the show. Black Widow was supposed to come out last summer and FatWS was originally scheduled to premiere before WandaVision (FatWS had some last minute re-writes once COVID started for reasons I'll get into when you start watching). WandaVision and Loki completely set up the next Phase of Marvel movies (you can think of these shows as Phase 3.5) as I know Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness will have Wanda as a major player, and I have a very good feeling that Spider-Man: No Way Home will also tie heavily into the plots of both WandaVision and Loki. And I mean come on...it's Loki and Owen Wilson. The team-up I never knew I needed.

I wanted to like Wandavision, it feels like they really missed a good opportunity to combine all the multiverses for Marvel together. In the comics Wanda is so much more powerful than this showing, with the X-verse being reacquired by Disney this seemed like the perfect way to do it. Its not like they would have too hard a time writing a story to do that since about a decade ago a story of anguish and remolding the universe happened to Wanda. Then bringing Agatha in as the "villain" of the series when it is so abundantly clear that Wanda was the main villain the entire time. But no at the end Agatha gets trapped there and the SWORD guy gets arrested for.....detaining a federal agent? Meanwhile the woman that has been literally torturing adults and children for months flies off into the sunset. It left a bad taste in my mouth.

Anonymous

...depending on how the use Wanda in upcoming movies... could be said her actions were supposed to leave a bad taste in your mouth... ;) ... and pretty sure the SWORD guy was arrested for willful misappropriation of recourses, and services for personal use. (to obtain his own Vison Weapon)... plus shooting at essentially civilians, even if conjured ones... ;)

Garrick Smalley

About the order for your watching of things... My father use to say to me K.I.S. Keep It Simple. Seeing the questions and your observations for this series I am wondering what you would do with Dollhouse created by Joss Whedon and a concept from Eliza Dushku.

Lucifer Moon

it is only 1 season but the story of this show will continue in 'Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Mandness' Movie. Wanda is the villain in the movie, most likely because of what she will do with all her new power.

Shen V

I mean, you're one of us now, only 2 shows behind (rich people shovelling extra money at Disney for early Black Widow don't count), so you ought to continue being one of us and "deal with" the release order. We had F&WS before Loki. Come, suffer with us.

Definitely want to see your thoughts on the Marvel Assembled (behind-the-scenes, how they made the shows and why series) once you've seen the three Disney+ series.

wanda's story will continue in doctor strange in the multiverse of madness

Absolutely adore your channel and primarily because of your love for filmmaking, your respect for all the material you watch, how much you invest in the actors (I trained and acted for a while), and the emotion you aren't afraid to show as you go through these journeys. I am an incredibly huge Marvel fan and have been since I was a kid. This series is one of my favorites in the entire MCU and the finale left me in sobbing tears for so long after I was done with it. I can't wait for you to watch Loki next and I think you will be so moved by Tom Hiddleston's performance, as well as the amazing attention to detail. I would love to speak with you at some point about a few things, particularly any questions you may have about Marvel as it might clarify some things for you and add to your appreciation of all of these series. Falcon and The Winter Soldier next is a good idea, it's VERY good, more grounded, but tackles some amazing issues that I was so happy Disney wasn't afraid to let Marvel dive into. Loki will give you the best of his sassiness with a totally different side of him you've never seen. And also, don't sleep on Loki's journey from a difficulty standpoint. Remember that he was lied to for 1500 years about his identity as an Asgaurdian, betrayed his entire family only to be responsible for his mother's death (at least partially), one of the few people who truly loved him, watched his father's death, and in the end sacrifices himself for his brother in Endgame. I think you will be astounded by the quality of his series and how emotional it is. Utterly phenomenal performance by Elizabeth Olsen here, by the way, and I couldn't agree more about her vulnerability. She is just amazing the entire way through, but the pain we see in her through episodes 8 and 9 is truly astounding. I am in awe of what she did in this role through this series and cannot wait to see more of her. Keep doing what you're doing :)

Anonymous

Oh yeah, and make sure to watch the "Assembled" Series as mentioned above. The behind the scenes only adds to the incredible stuff you've seen and I know someone like you would love them.

Anonymous

Yeah, I would not listen to this at all, Nat. It's far more grounded and doesn't have WVs intrigue, but the performances from Anthony Mackie, Seb Stan, and one other I don't want to mention (you'll know who when you watch it because he steals every scene he's in and it's not many) are great. Good character development and the relationship they build between Falcon and Bucky is a great start to what we'll see more of as the MCU continues.

Daniel Casillas

Wandas story will continue into Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange 2. Wandavision and Loki series are kind of connected

Obsolyeet

Several things in this show would have made more sense (especially the end credit scene) if they didn't have to remove all the Dr Strange scenes. He was originally going to be a major contributer to this series.

Obsolyeet

Yes, watching Eric on New Rockstars is a fantastic resource for everything Marvel. But as I've mentioned to other creators, Natalie, you will need to film your reaction BEFORE watching NR because the stuff he points out would be huge spoilers.

Valentin torres

One of my favorite moments in episode 9 is when White Vision meets Wanda and the contrast of him saying "Wanda" right after we were reminded of her (created) Vision Saying "Wanda" when HE met her. It can send chills down your spine hearing Paul Bettany say them back to back the exact same way as two different Visions.

While the series does set up the next Doctor Strange movie, I don't remember anything other than unsubstantiated rumors that he would be in this series. Could be wrong, but you'd have to provide evidence that he was going to be in it.

Balkyne

All the films and shows will all lead into each other in some way. Whilst there won't be a 2nd season of this, this will pick up in Dr. Strange 2 in some way

RebRox65

Really like your reactions even more as this channel development. Firstly The DARKHOLD is a book from the Dark void and contains Schematics and schemes to build evil technology and was introduced in the third season of MARVEL AGENTS OF SHILD. The one series that really should be on your list as we keep telling you is AGENT CARTER, it's I'm my opinion still the best spin off show in the Marvel MCU and it deals with Captain America a subject your passionate what happen to her life after she lost Steve Rogers.

Elvenwitch

I love that in 2021 a statement like "I want to see more of Wanda. Even if it's only in a movie." can be made. For the longest time, movies were seen as so much more high brow than television. In the same way, that stage is seen as a rung above movies. But with the work that HBO and others have done over the last two decades and now with the concurrent timeline woven between the MCU movies and shorter shows, there is so much more than was on offer before. Although to many, this represents a faltering of the standards by which such things are held (Scorsese), I see this as an evolution that leads to further refinement and change. Eventually, by accident or design, this way of storytelling will create something that even the snobbiest critics will deem a masterpiece. In the meantime, I will sit back and enjoy the comics of my youth portrayed in a way that before was only a dream. I really enjoy your reactions. Loki is going to be a blast!

Kevin

I can't wait for you to watch Loki. I feel like you're gonna be so confused in the finale haahahhaa

Ian Cano

It was great to watch the last 4-5 Wandavision episodes with you. I love your take on things and you have a great personality. 👍👍👍😀😀😀
