SURPRISE EVERYONE!!! And Happy Marvel Monday again!

Today we're finally starting WANDAVISION!! I'm so excited to be diving into this series with you all and can't wait to hear your thoughts. I mentioned what my plan is in the intro video, but for those who are curious, the schedule for the coming weeks will be as follows:

Monday: 2 WandaVision episodes in one video

Tuesday - Thursday: Game of Thrones

Friday: A movie feature!

I will return to double movie features each week once these Marvel series are done. Just want to get the ball rolling with Black Widow coming out soon.

As always, thanks so much for your support here on Patreon and until the next one, ✨stay golden!✨

Oh my God!!! Finally!! Yes!!!

Anonymous

Yeaaaaass Natalie!!! I’ve been so excited for you to watch this!

Cole Jennett

Yes! Marvel Monday’s are back!

R.BGames37

Yes Finally.. really was waiting for this.

Andy Crawley

Yes! I knew there was a good reason I took this week off work. I mean other than it being my birthday tomorrow haha! Can’t wait to see your thoughts on this

tom

Woop! I honestly think this is the best thing Marvel have done! Enjoy 😀

Ilsuk Yang

I wish you did the first 3 episodes since they're kind of a set/arc. Either way, I'm glad you're reacting to WandaVision!

Steve J

was half expecting impromptu Kung Fu Panda, but will take some WandaVision no questions asked :) WandaVision was a fun show, I was kinda meh on Falcon and Winter Soldier, so far Loki has been by far my favorite of these first 3 D+ Marvel series.

Choof

Heads up, Deadpool is Marvel not DC. It was part of the Fox X-Men Universe but starting with Deadpool 3 it will be folded into the MCU.

Simon Bauer

Loki is a lot better imo. Would recommend just getting this season out of the way lol

Rich

Thank you! I've been waiting for these!!!!

Anonymous

Just a small heads up related to the intro. Deadpool is still Marvel (although not MCU, since it belonged to Fox and not Marvel Studios) and you can watch it literally whenever you want. It would be good to watch it after the X Men movies (at least the most recent ones) but you 100% don't need to.

Dani

YEEEEESSSSS. Deadpool is Marvel not DC btw. And there's End-Credits scenes in the last three episodes. So 7, 8 and 9.

Ian

Wow wasn't expecting marvel Mondays to return so fast 😲 think you're going to really enjoy this Nat it's going to be fun watching it once again along side you, hope your weekend was good and the weather was better than its been here lol ☔ oke let's get started :💛

Anonymous

Mild spoilers, there aren't any mid/post-credit scenes until episodes 7, 8, and 9. So feel free to cut the shows off once the credits roll! And my goodness, I appreciate your reference to "Get Low" lol.

codenamewitch xx

Omg this makes me so happy!!! Can’t wait for you to be caught up with all the MCU shows.

Randee Carreno

EEEKKK!!!! Happy Marvel Monday, Natalie! 😊 It's here!!!!!!! I'm so excited for you to get started on "WandaVision". And then by the time you finish "Falcon and the Winter Soldier" the "Loki" show should be finished for you to catch up on. 2 episodes in one video is a good way to do it since the episodes are fairly short. I'm so excited for your reactions to this one. And there will be post-credit scenes during the last three episodes. Have a great day today! 😊 Until the next video, Stay Golden! 💛

Krystal

OMG! what an amazing start to the week! xox

Anonymous

At last! I been wating for this!!!

Anonymous

Fantastic surprise!! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Lisa Tosti

AHHH! I'm so excited! Knowing how much you love films and TV and also how much you love Wanda, I cannot WAIT to watch this!!!

Anonymous

Yes yes yes yes!!!

Anonymous

I'm super burned out on Marvel stuff so I'll be passing on this, but I hope everyone else enjoys it!

Andrew Dickinson

Oh thus is going to be fun...and so many tears to look forward to :)

Stephen Ray

I'm really excited to see you're doing this. However, I don't think you have to rush to see all the Marvel TV before Black Widow - it was supposed to come out last year, before these shows aired.

navghtivs

"Why do they have separate twin beds?" Have you seen 50s TV shows like "I love Lucy"? That's what's shown on TV then.

Anonymous

Yay I am sooooo excited to rewatch this series with you!!

Travis

It may be beneficial to watch x-men: days of future past before you get too far into wandavision

ropecrewman36

Woohoo!! The time has finally come!!! Though I do think the Loki show is the best one (so far) WV was one heck of a way to start off the run of MCU shows!!! Enjoy the ride!

Darryl Low

Monday's are always a great day for surprises Nat. I knew that you hadn't figured the name Wandavision, so watching it click into place was a big surprise for you, and also sheer joy. Thanks Nat 💛

Tony Johnson

Great news! I wasn't expecting the Disney+ series for a while, but I'm glad they're back. Just FYI, Wandavision, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Loki were originally set to premier after Black Widow last year, so watching all 3 series aren't required before seeing Black Widow.

Anonymous

Awesome! And Deadpool is Marvel, not DC. But in the same universe as the X-Men movie series.

Steve J

yup, would have been 'scandalous' to show a married couple in the the same bed. The sexual implications would have melted the minds of the viewers.

WalkingTaako

I'm dying of laughter "I just pieced that together right now"

Doug C

Yay! Glad to see this. You mentioned that it's weird to watch the recap right after you watched the show. Pay attention to the recaps! Lets just say that the title sequences aren't the only thing that change from episode to episode... (You won't get the full speculation that fans did when watching them all slowly, so we have to give you some hints.)

Foggy

There are end credit scenes for episodes 7-9

Danishprince

What a surprise! I wasn't expecting another show until after GoT ended so this is most welcome <3

Anonymous

What a really nice surprise. Thank you Nat. 💛 Loving your reactions, as always. If you want to explore DC, I'd recommend checking out the series Lucifer on Netflix when you've finished GOT.

Calo Grsf

Yeah! Nat's Marvel Monday is back haha 😄 I'm glad you try the adventure haha, it's a big surprise, thank for this 😁, you are defenitely the best! 🤘 I loved how you were confused and at the same time excited during the show haha, and it was funny you fell in the trap of the post credit scene 😆 The explanation of the separate bed, I think it'is because in the series of that time (60's), it was common that the couples slept in separate beds (maybe I'm wrong) haha, and however, small correction, Deadpool is marvel not DC haha And I loved your little concert to conclude 😆 I hope you're fine, take care, be safe and stay golden! 💛

Valar Dohaeris

Fun fact: In Spain the show was called "Bruja Escarlata y Visión" that literally translates to "Scarlet Which and Vision" giving away the beans before it started... I didn't like that.

David Brown

Natalie, it would actually be better to watch episodes 1 - 3 this week. Then episodes 4 & 5, then 6 & 7, then 8 & 9. Maybe you could do a separate video for episode 3 some time during the week. I'm not asking for myself and your other patrons, but this would actually give YOU the best viewing experience. The story flow works better with episodes grouped together like this. Please.

Valar Dohaeris

I love that Nat is literally with the mouth open for the first 4 minutes... \(°o°)/

It Hurt A Lot

I liked Wandavision but two episodes into Loki and I can already tell it's gonna be the best of the Marvel shows

WalkingTaako

There are no end credits scenes until Episode 7

Anonymous

Nat! There are some end credit scenes in some episodes so make sure you check with every episode!

Brian Leonard

Post credit scene in episodes 7 and 8. Two post credit scenes in episode 9.

Anonymous

Can't wait till you get deeper into the season.

Keith Jones

Love this show. So far, it's my favorite of the Disney+ MCU shows. Agents of Shield is still my favorite because of how tied in you get with all of the characters over the whole run.

Keith Jones

Oh, to mention Paul Bettany having fun with a role; he was so much fun in "A Knights Tale". If you haven't seen it, it's a great one for a reaction. Paul Bettany and Heath Ledger doing a middle ages rom-comish movie. It's a hoot.

Patrick Armbruster

Some episodes have end-credit things, some don't. Best to be on the lookout.

Brian Leonard

Black Widow was originally supposed to be released before any of the Disney+ series were supposed to be shown, so I doubt you would need to watch all three shows before watching the Black Widow movie.

Matthew Periolat

No end tags. Yet. 😁 I think two at a time works great with the finale as it’s own thing. YMMV though. Deadpool is not DC, it’s Marvel. But kinda… not in a way that’s hard to explain right now. I think right now Black Widow will be on Disney + Premium starting July 9 and then go to everyone in October. Nine episodes of WandaVision, six for Falcon and Winter Soldier, six for Loki. Beyond that, dunno. But allow that in your planning. Meantime, what a great treat and surprise! Love how you are enjoying this and yes, Katheryn Hahn is a delight in this series. Oh, and the song writers for the opening tags? Same song writers for Frozen. Mentioned in passing, no idea why… Still Golden!

Ian

Great to see you already enjoying the show it's sure different that's for sure 🙂 I believe the intro in episode 1 was relating to the dick van dyke show and episode 2 was relating to bewitched, enjoyed your singing very much nattie 🎶😀

Curaitis

Welcome to Phase 4 (Spidey 2 wasnt it for me), the Multiverse and beyond. You will enjoy it.

Travis

Skeet skeet mothafucka 😂😂🤣

Ilsuk Yang

There aren't any end credit scenes until the latter episodes (can't remember which ones at the moment). There's only 2 or 3 episodes with end credit scenes.

Thomas Malley

I really don't think you need to watch any of this before Black Widow, as that movie is basically just a prequel that happens sometime before Winter Soldier I believe.

Mike LL

This is very correct. The Black Widow movie is delayed from May, 2020 so it was supposed to come out before any of these Marvel Disney+ series. They actually messed up a bit because the Black Widow movie and The Falcon and The Winter Soldier series share a common character who was introduced in the movie, but since it hasn't come out yet, the character made their debut in the series.

Omni Jacala

Black Widow takes place after Civil War, but yes, you don't need to watch any of the new shows before Black Widow.

Anonymous

You gotta sign off with inappropriate lines from now on! Lmao

Vidcutter

One of the first lines of dialogue -- "My husband and his indestructible head" ... but we all know how Vision died in Infinity War

Aaron Chandler

I just don't understand why you can't just react to only the show and movies that I want, in the way that I want you to do it, at the times I want you to do them. It's like you're not even considering my wants and needs. Sheesh.

Aaron Chandler

Someone else correct me if I am wrong, but I think the only episode with after credits is the last episode.

Haughtbreaker Nic

I love Wandavision. It's currently my favorite of the MCU. The way they did the storytelling is just so original. Episodes 7-9 have end scenes with 9 having 2 end credit scenes. The first 6 do not. The commercials are important and not just fluff. I'm actually glad you'll be watching 3 and 4 together and that makes me really excited for next week. Also, as everyone else said, Deadpool 1 and 2 are not part of the MCU. They're a distant part of the Xmen franchise, and while there are a few xmen jokes, if you are familiar with the general concept of XMen you would be fine watching them without watching the Xmen movies.

Anonymous

Hi Nat. I don't know if someone else has already posted this, but I think you're fine watching the Black Widow movie whenever you want. It's a prequel which takes place between Captain America: Civil War and Infinity War, I believe. ;)

Navjot Singh

Episodes 7 and 8 each have a post credit scene with the 9th one having 2.

WalkingTaako

Doing two at a time is fairly perfect, as the end of Episode 3 is gonna make you wanna watch Episode 4 right away.

Anonymous

Ngl, it hurt my nerd bone when she called Deadpool DC 😅

Anonymous

Deadpool is Marvel not DC 😂

Brian Jones

Pay close attention to the commercials in the episodes.... You were on the right track making the Stark association. WandaVision is easily my favorite Marvel/Disney series that they have produced so far. Production design, writing, and music were phenomenal. No need to watch it to enjoy Black Widow as that will be a film that takes place in the past. Kevin Feige has stated that while some things may carry over from the shows to the films, there is no requirement to see the shows. Also, there are end credit scenes on some of the later shows, so make sure to keep looking for them.... Great reaction as always, I think you'll really enjoy this one.

Edwin Bertilsson

First episode was 50s second was 60s

Aaron Chandler

Well part of the character design was inspired by Death Stroke from DC, sooooooo, she can be forgiven I think.

Anonymous

I nearly spit my drink at the end with the Lil Jon bit LMAO 🤣

Ken Schneyer

I wonder, have you ever seen the film "Pleasantville?" Your reaction to pats of Ep. 2 made me think of it. (And if you haven't seen it, you should. It's an important film, and a lot of fun.)

Ken Schneyer

Set and "vibe" of episode 1 is a lot like The Dick Van Dyke Show. Set and "vibe" of episode two is a lot like Betwitched (hence the transition into color).

Ken Schneyer

Well, okay, Ep. 2 is kinda halfway between Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie.

Lisa Tosti

Without spoiling anything you don't need to worry about end credits until the last episode.

Anonymous

I have never been more excited for something you've watched

john collins

Marvel Mondays are back!!!

Richard Ryan

Sorry, Nat but my roommate had to ask me what's so funny when it hit you about the double meaning of the name: Wanda+Vision. XD

Anonymous

Hey Nat... I haven't seen any posts with the actual episodes that had credit scenes listed, but it is episodes 7-9. And there are 2 in episode 9, so don't jump off the credits to quickly. Happy Watching!!!

Baron

Thanks for the great reaction also the show you were trying to think of to reference for the second episode introduction is “Bewitched” I think.

Cole Jennett

This was the type of reaction I enjoy. She seemed to be paying more attention and not commenting throughout other dialogue scenes. She still reacts obviously, but she picks her moments more to my liking I guess.

Stephen Woods

Hi Natalie, Do you have any plans to watch Loki?

Nathan Churchill

I'm glad this series is short. It's awful. Haven't we had enough Marvel?

Jai Nelson

Such a fun show! The sitcom gimmick is just priceless, so well written and acted. Skeet skeet!

Jayson Phillips

don't like it? hehe don't watch it lmao !

Michelle Blkft

I freaked out when I saw that Marvel Mondays are back! Wanda Wednesdays would be great too haha I’m just greedy lol your reactions are amazing!!

Brandon Scott

so excited! Haven’t watched yet but boy howdy am I about to 🥳

Chris Lane- Venturi 3D

Nat, as you can see people in the comments are luckily being VERY quiet about the details of this show other than being super excited you're watching it. It's difficult to really talk about anything in it because SO MUCH stuff happens and there's SO MUCH great speculation we all had while watching and discussing it (at least I did). I will say this show is extremely deep with references and lore and very little if anything is by chance and not on purpose if that makes sense (you might have noticed the top front of the magic box thing they used looks like a certain infinity stone).

Joe Blankenship

Can’t wait to catch up with you on Loki. It’s great so far.

Anonymous

Awesome

Connor Ellis

There will be end credits. Just not in some so keep an eye out.

Ortizmo2000

Disclaimer: I know you're being sarcastic. I wanted to make that clear before I openly called you Kaaron. ;0)

darby72

I think it was more the fact that they couldn't show a couple sharing a bed as it was considered too risque for t.v. at the time.

Kevin Mowery

Super happy to have Marvel Mondays back. There's a lot of comments, so at the risk of repeating some things: First, the other Marvel shows are 6 hour-ish episodes. WandaVision is unique so far in that it's 9 half-hour-ish episodes. Second, the series has a three act structure. You'll get post-credit scenes in the third act. Third, I think you said Deadpool was DC, but he's actually Marvel as well, just not MCU. Back in the '80s and '90s, Marvel Comics was in dire financial straits and they ended up licensing out the rights to a bunch of their characters. The X-Men and Fantastic Four ended up at Fox, Spider-Man at Sony, the Hulk at Universal, etc. Deadpool is part of the X-Men franchise. The thing is, to date there have been 13 movies in that franchise, including the Deadpool movies, and ... I'd say about half of them, including the Deadpool movies, are good.

Kevin Mowery

Replying to my own post, my suggested viewing order for the X-Men and Deadpool movies: X-Men (2000): Really, this and Blade ended up being proof of concept for the current superhero movie boom. X2: X-Men United (2003): Even better than the first movie. Then skip a *bunch*. X-Men: First Class (2011): A soft reboot of the series after the fairly disastrous X-Men 3 and X-Men Origins Wolverine movies. X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014): Even better than First Class. Then skip *more*. From here, I think that's everything referenced in the first Deadpool (2016). More than enough, really--you could probably get by with just the original and First Class or Days of Future Past in a pinch. After that, Logan (2017) is incredibly good, and you'll want a ton of tissues. You might also, regrettably, want to dip into X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009). It's very bad, but it's actually referenced in Deadpool 2, and I don't want to say why it's referenced because that's a spoiler. Then Deadpool 2 (2018). You might also want to know before going in that Ryan Reynolds played the superhero Green Lantern in a movie for DC, and that was also pretty bad. It's not essential to understand the plot, but Deadpool breaks the fourth wall a lot, and it's referenced.

Kelli E.

I like to think that the credits are probably that long because the production of this (and the other Marvel series’) are more like that of a movie! :)

Ben Violette

This is going to be fun watching you go in completely blind.

Heliastein

Right? Most of us went into this with lots of expectations and theories. But she's got to figure it all out by herself :)

Anonymous

Just out of curiosity, has no one suggested "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" for a reaction video? It seems like a no-brainer. It's a Marvel film (not MCU but still Marvel) - it's Animated (which Nat is said she's going into) - AND it won the Best Animated Feature Oscar (I believe Nat said she wanted to do Award Winning stuff) this seem like a perfect fit for a video!

Sean

Love the epiphany during the intro! 🤣

Steve J

I'm actually curios to see the reaction of somebody unfamiliar with that character. While fun, it seemed to carry a lot of unnecessary baggage into the last few episodes. The internet went off the deep end theory-crafting to the point of distraction.

Steve J

It's been name-dropped many a time. I'm sure the first time it's in a poll it will win.

j-l

hey i just became a patreon and im sorry if im just stupid but how do i watch the full reactions? the videos are blurred i dont understand how to watch :/

Anonymous

More specifically: Episodes 7 & 8 both have a mid-credits scene. Episode 9 has both a mid-credits and an end-credits scene. You don't want to miss these!

The Goateed Geek

Falcon & the Winter Soldier is probably the closest to Marvel norm, and was meant to be the first series released. WandaVision was supposed to be the second, but, oh boy, does it go places. Loki was always meant to be the third, and I'm fairly sure, it and WandaVision will lead into Dr. Strange 2 and Spider-Man III. You have missed out on the speculation that erupted when WandaVision first aired, it got really crazy, I've never seen anything like it before. You're so lucky to be able to watch without waiting a week

Steve J

she has to blur them because even though the links are private, you still can't just stream a full movie or the copyright police will come for you. Ideally you have a copy of the movie/show to follow along with.

Anonymous

Woo! Was just wondering how long the wait would be for this (not long at all lol)

Sean

Also, I love that outro. That should be the official Nattie Gold outro. Just gotta license the music.

Tony Sanson

*reads all the comments about enjoying WandaVision* Holy crap...I'm- I'm with friends? I'm not alone? I'M NOT ALONE!!!!!!!!! Seriously, none of my friends watched WandaVision or absolutely hated it and I told them to skip to 4. Once they did, they loved the show, and cannot understand why these first episodes exist. I just...look I tried okay? But I just had to walk away before something bad happened. So to say that I'm excited you're getting to this series and that you thoroughly enjoyed the first episodes is an understatement, though I had a feeling you'd catch on to what the show was really about and the tone the production team was going for. Buckle up...you're in for a hell of a ride.

Alan Kobb

I had fun! The first episode was an homage to The Dick Van Dyke Show. You can see the similarity to the opening of that show. https://youtu.be/BttXQJ_gDnc THe Dick Van Dyke opening credits were memorable because Dick always tripped over the ottoman, but Vision just steps right through it! Even though Dick Van Dyke was the early 1960s, it was always in B&W. The second episode was obviously an homage to Bewitched. The cartoon is a dead giveaway. https://youtu.be/nHTBH_j9jr8 Bewitched started out in Black and White, but changed to color in the middle of it's run (althought NOT in the middle of an episode), so the episode did the same thing. As we go on, you'll start to see TV shows that you are familiar with from your youth. but every episode of Wandavision goes forward a few years in TV history. Why??? That's the question, of course.

Anonymous

Fun fact: they not only filmed in an 50s style, they actually filmed/recorded the show on vintage cameras.

Martin Firth

Mate I didn't realise the title was Wanda Vision until around episode four, sooooo

REDR58

Natalie, I recommend you watch these shows with the captions on. In some of the later episodes it can be hard to make out soft background voices that convey somewhat important information.

John

I think she normally does use captions so that she doesn't miss as much by accidentally talking over an important line.

Al Baughman

The first 2 episodes my reaction was WTF am I watching? LOL at your rap!

Anonymous

Apologies if someone has said this already…but you absolutely DO NOT need to watch all the shows before Black Widow. It was meant to come out last May, and while I’m sure it will have repercussions for the MCU, I don’t think it’s viewing order is as essential at this point. That said, you watch whatever you want/whenever you want! DC/Marvel It’s all good…or at least interesting for a bit. (And in my opinion, other than Deadpool 1&2 and New Mutants, I’d pass on all the Fox Marvel films. But that’s just me.) PS - the Christopher Reeves “Superman” and Michael Keaton “Batman”/“Batman Returns” are fantastic.

sheriffjt

Not sure if anyone has discussed this, but the Netflix series are also MCU: Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders, and The Punisher.

Kevin Mowery

Mostly unfortunately, the Netflix series (and Hulu, and Freeform, and pretty much everything including Agents of SHIELD) seems to have been rendered non-canonical. There's a bunch of behind the scenes stuff there, but unfortunately the long and short of it is that unless something from those shows turns up in the movies, they're probably not part of the MCU anymore.

William Connery

Deadpool is Marvel, it’s complicated why he hasn’t appeared in the MCU yet but he will

Anonymous

Only the last 2 episodes have end credit scenes

Anonymous

LETS GOOOOOOOO

Amos T Fairchild

Hopefully someone mentioned there were end credit sequences later in the series...

Jayson Phillips

LMFAO!! Skeet Skeet MF!!!!! I'm fast AF Boi!!!!

Kathryn Harvey

So goddamn ready for you to experience the D+ shows. So ready.

The Hedge Knight

You brought this upon yourself with that lyrical tag at the end, You'll have to watch The Proposal.

Heliastein

Damn i hope she has someone trustworthy following her on this trip to help her catch all the important stuff without spoiling the rest :O

Heliastein

Some episodes have end credit scenes so make sure to check all of them.

Kevin Bartelen

When talking about DC stuff you want to watch, you said Deadpool... Deadpool is Marvel Also, there will be end credits, but not in every episode so keep watch for them. I could say which ones but that might seem like spoilers.

Anonymous

Skeet skeet skeet mofuckaaaa XD I'm dead

Joe D. MacGuffinstuff

Nice!! I was expecting to have to wait a while for this reaction, I'm psyched! And I'm glad to rewatch because I think I might have missed the some of the end credit scenes, I only remember the two from the finale. One thing I would advise Nat or any other first time watchers is to pay close attention to some of the details and to characters as they're introduced, lots of Easter eggs and some of them are kind of important going forward into Phase 4 (and some are mainly just fun call backs). Also, can't believe some people didn't dig this show. To each their own, I guess part the appeal for me, apart from what I think is a really original format, and that it got me really excited to keep following the MCU (I was thinking it was basically over and done, wasn't much looking forward to anything after End Game), is that some of the shows referenced in Wandavision are shows I used to watch reruns of when I was a little kid, this show kinda got me in the feels as a nostalgic TV baby and for other reasons that will... I'll just stop right there 🙂 Really loving the direction the channel is going in the near future Nat💛!

Ellis Hugh

SOOOOOO much there. This is definitely a series which benefits from a re-watch, though I can't imagine how Nat would find the time.

Anonymous

I was hoping you would do your reactions to Loki as it is being released. It won't break continuity since it literally starts with his teleportation out of Endgame, and he is one of your favorite Marvel characters.

Anonymous

I am glad that you are continuing to enjoy Marvel as well - there is SOO much in these episodes. I for sure recommend watching them all over again after you go through it the first time. There is also a great "making of" episode on Disney+ that you can watch afterwards where they go through how they set up different styles - I love how true to the decade they tried to be with the camera and stunt work.

Kenny Teeology

And Black Widow is a prequel movie so as far as I know it won't matter too much when Natalie sees it.

Jim

is it just me or does she feel like a villain at the very start of the video when she said "I think its finally time" LOL. Also I think the varying episode lengths vs to game of thrones fixed runtime is because the marvel series and Mandalorian did not air on TV. Most shows are required to have a fixed runtime to properly insert commercials in between. Edit: Also i dont really mind the break in between the marvel stuff. it keep things fresh for the channel and you do deserve a break from all the superhero movies.

Anonymous

When i first watched this, of all the questions this raised, the biggest question i had was why the credits were almost half the run time😁

Tranquil_Gnome

I think Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen did such a great job in the series. A good supporting cast too.

Lucifer Moon

The toaster I think is supposed to be symbolic of the Stark Industries Bomb that almost killed her and her brother when they were children in Sakovia which is really the start of their journey down the road of destiny, if you notice the only color in the episode up to that point was the red light on the toaster and it was starting to beep faster and faster like a bomb. Then he episode 2's commercial we get a reference to Strucker who is the Hydra-Scientist who took in and experimented on her and her brother after the bomb incident. At least this is what I am gathering so far from these commercials. Also I noticed the Colored Helicopter had the same Sword Logo that was seen in Spiderman Homecoming and at the end of the first episode when the saw the in-color computer terminal at the end. The Bee Keeper also seemed the have the Sword logo on his outfit.

Lucifer Moon

I think only the last 2 or 3 episodes have post-credit scenes in this series.

Lucifer Moon

The intro scene in the second episode is meant to in the same style as the old show Bewitched. Also, they sleep in separate beds because in early sitcoms husband and wife were required to sleep in separate beds to avoid any implication of sex.

Definitely Delish

later episodes around 6 or 7 is when end credit scenes occur, but none till then...

Danishprince

She has always done MCU in release order so it makes sense that she would continue to do so

Opti_Frog

Hell yeah!!! Couldn't see that anyone had commented on this, so: The first episode was filmed over two days at Pinewood Atlanta Studios, in front of a live studio audience. It was shot in black and white and used many period-appropriate practical special effects and wire gags.

Ben Gilshenan

episode 7, 8 and 9 are the only episodes with post credit scenes

Paul Gibbons

You should watch the Marvel making of with the 9th episode it shows how it was all done.

Steve J

I was watching along with my significant other who is a casual Marvel fan at best and she didn't like it much. She took the sitcom gag at face value and after episode 3 was like "I don't get why this is supposed to be funny". To her it felt like sitting through bad re-runs of sitcoms from the 60s/70s. Falcon and Winter soldier she didn't watch at all. Loki, however, she's all in. You know somebody is onboard with a show when they ask you about 3 times a week when the next one comes out :)

And as in the title of the first episode, in front of an actual live studio audience.

Having just watched this show as it came out, I don't know if I'll be watch this series again. Maybe I'll skim through your reactions to see your thoughts on it, idk. Enjoy the series. Looking forward to seeing your reaction to the last episode.

Wow - I have to say that I couldn't stand this show - despite the craftsmanship, talent and resources that Disney/ Marvel put into it. Watching someone ELSE watch it, however, makes it WAY more enjoyable. I was SO confused (and frustrated) watching it the first time that I felt that I had to no choice but to watch The New Rockstars (on YouTube) and then I felt even MORE "out of it" because the creators were definitely pulling from deep within the Marvel comics and those who are "in the know" and grew up with the comics were pointing out every possible Easter egg and almost figuring it out. I still think the show was kind of a waste (until the last couple of episodes) but "I get it" and it was a "hit" (and I'm in the minority for not liking it). But again - watching Nat "react" to it (and watching her try to figure it out via the confusion), is totally enjoyable! Can't wait to see what Nat thinks, as the show progresses. Plus -I'm old enough to know what shows the first two episodes were styled after so that further confused me the first time. It's almost like they created it for the die-hard comic fans and then did retcon for the MCU. But again - I love Wanda AND Vision and excited to see how this plays into the Multiverse of Madness!

lol that's interesting. I am a MCU fan (never read comics). And I actually liked the majority of the episodes (I didn't like the last one), despite me being confused most of the time between episode 1-4. Watching someone else reacting to it definitely is better. At least, I know that it's not just me who's confused, lol.

Eps 1 and 2???? YAY! Hahaha! That's not the real reason(for the children). You'll find out later. ;-)

On the first episode they had no other than Dick Van Dyke help out with the authenticity of the production. The exterior set for the house is the same house used for the Griswalds in “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.” I do wish you had seen the newer X-Men movies before watching this though….

Nicholas Sulikowski

Yeeaaahhhhh, it should be explained. Deadpool is Marvel. Specifically, Deadpool is part of the X-Men film universe: X-Men X2: X-Men United X-Men: The Last Stand X-Men Origins: Wolverine X-Men: First Class The Wolverine X-Men: Days of Future Past Deadpool X-Men: Apocalypse Logan Deadpool 2 X-Men: Dark Phoenix The New Mutants Basically, X-Men is a Marvel property, but the film rights have been owned by 20th Century Fox for the longest time. That is until Disney straight up bought up Fox. And so eventually we'll see X-Men films in the MCU. But the pre-existing films are in their own separate universe. As for DC, there's a whole bunch of different universes. The most prominent (but not the only current universe in modern DC media, check out their streaming shows like Doom Patrol and Titans, Stargirl, Young Justice, Harley Quinn, and Swamp Thing) is the DC Extended Universe: Man of Steel Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition Suicide Squad Extended Cut Wonder Woman Justice League (canon) Zack Snyder's Justice League (non-canon) Aquaman Shazam! Birds of Prey, and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn Wonder Woman 1984 The Suicide Squad Black Adam The Flash Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom Shazam! Fury of the Gods It's a messy universe that's all over the place, but occasionally, you get something special. The classis 70s/80s Superman films are also neat. (Superman: The Movie Extended Cut, Superman II, and Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut.) And the 90s Tim Burton Batman films (Batman, Batman Returns)

From what I've heard, knowledge about the Disney+ shows is not critical to watching Black Widow. So you could probably fit the movie in without waiting to watch the shows first.

Episode 2 was based on the 60s where camera work started getting more dynamic.

Nat, have you considered after watching wandavision, falcon & winter soldier, and Loki to possibly watch Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage? While agents or shield and agent Carter are good, Daredevil Jessica Jones and Luke Cage are amazing and REALLY well done. I definitely think you would love Jessica Jones. Especially the first season.

sheriffjt

Probably need to watch them all if you're gonna watch any. Daredevil season 3 won't make much sense without watching The Defenders. I enjoyed all of them, but I know Iron Fist & Defenders were less popular with both fans & critics

Logan Kerlee

xD Thank you for including the rapping. hahaha, pretty sure that it won't survive the final cut but it made me smile. :) I'm glad that you're enjoying the series so far. It's a lot of fun to watch!

Great to see you back at the MCU, but technically the Black Widow movie takes place before Endgame (and before Infinity War I think). So, you wouldn't really have to be completely caught up for Black Widow. Unless you just prefer it that way, which is all good either way.

Matthew

(Working from memory) I think it's the end of Winter Soldier, at the cemetary, when she says she has business to take care of in Europe.

Don't worry Nat, you aren't the only one that didn't pick up on the title right away. I didn't either until I was into like episode 3 :)

Yani Dodge

I'm only on the first episode so far, just make to check the end credits on all of them, there's a couple that have them :)

Wandavision and possibly Loki tie in to the next Doctor Strange movie (coming out next spring) not Black Widow so you can take longer breaks between shows. Falcon/Winter Soldier will tie into future stuff also but we don't know exactly what.

Jeff E

Black Widow comes out July 9th actually (Thurs previews July 8th), but DON'T WORRY! As the other Jeff basically said, you do NOT need to watch ANY of the Disney+ series before Black Widow comes out as all 3 of them take place AFTER Endgame, while Black Widow takes place between Civil War and Infinity War.

Vili

I’d hate to be that person, but Deadpool is Marvel. You really should watch it though.

I'll have to wait to watch your reaction for this show, as I've only seen the first two eps so far (I know, I know, I'm behind the times, haha) Or... maybe I'll just watch it along with your for my first time, too... not sure yet haha. I am glad you're watching it now, though, and I recommend watching the two Deadpool movies at some point, as they're rude and crude, and fricken' hilarious!

Joseph C Gdaniec

so the first few episodes of this show were filmed in multi-camera shots, on pre-made sets, with real live audiences specifically to honor and keep the old sitcom style,

Kevin

still my favorite marvel show.

OMG I'm so excited to see the WandaVision reactions - my second favorite MCU show! (My #1 favorite is of course Jessica Jones). Needed something to watch, and your Patreon posts don't disappoint.
