The title says it all....

I've seen a lot of his more romantic movies (ie: The Notebook and Blue Valentine). Although, I will totally watch The Notebook again if you all just want to watch me cry...

Hope you're all having a great weekend and staying golden!

Josh

Reynolds is the one true Ryan.

ISeeTrees ofGreen

I wish the big short had a chance, its an absolutely amazing movie

Anonymous

Blade Runner 2049, Drive, and Crazy, Stupid, Love. In that order

Anonymous

Blade Runner 2049 sucks. I can't believe it's leading the poll.

Anonymous

You need to watch John wick soon! All three

Anonymous

She already did. https://youtu.be/WjSxsRwoDn0

Anonymous

The big short is an absolutely amazing movie, also why no The Nice Guys option?

Anonymous

I know Blade runner will win, rightfully so, but don’t sleep on The Big Short. Keep it in the poll rotation!!!

Travis

Literally ALL of them are worth watching. As far as what I think your tastes are I’d rank them 1) crazy, stupid love 2) big short 3) driver 4) blade runner

Anonymous

Great picks but you should definitely check out the movie Half-Nelson with Ryan Gosling.

Darryl Low

You've seen Blade Runner, so you have find out what happens next😊 Enjoy your weekend Nat 💛

Anonymous

Rooting so hard for Drive (although pretty sure Blade Runner's gonna win), one of my favorite movies

Anonymous

The Nice Guys is by far the best Gosling movie.

Anonymous

Blade Runner 2049 is a masterpiece so I’m going with that one. That said all of these are fantastic. You should absolutely watch all of them eventually.

Haughtbreaker Nic

Whenever I think of Ryan Gosling, I just see Young Hercules (a teen version of the 90s Hercules & Xena shows where he played a younger Hercules)

Anonymous

Blade Runner will win but hope you watch the big short too

Anonymous

Will admit, no idea if bladerunner any good, but i been wanting to watch it so choose it for the watch along. :)

Ken

Write-in vote for The Nice Guys

Howy Snipper

The Nice Guys is a great movie. Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe.

Anonymous

Drive is a really good movie.

Anonymous

People just picking good movies but dont take into account what will get the best reactions. Aka Drive

YannickWega

Drive was awesome

Sean Medellin

You’re telling me the elevator scene wouldn’t get a good reaction? Or how Oscar Issacs character comes into it and that story line? Come onnnn

Brandon Ralphs

I don’t know if you’ve seen La La Land, but that’s my all time fav Ryan Gosling film. Absolutely incredible

Rabon Kyle Ragan

NICE GUYS. Funny, sweet, action. Plus Russell Crowe.

Darryl Low

Ssshhhh....I mentioned La La Land to Natalie before. I was lucky to get away with my life! 😄

Anonymous

Really wish The Nice Guys was on this list, maybe next time

Elisa H.

Write in vote for "the nice guys" (2016) . I was so surprised by how good and fun that movie was.

Tiger Chu

The Nice Guys should be on the list but definitely watch Blade Runner 2049

Fawks

C'mon, how is Drive not crushing this? That would've been a great reaction.

Anonymous

Looks like Blade Runner 2049 is the clear favorite. I hope you watch Drive too. I've never seen it and it would be super cool to actually watch something for the first time with you.

Tay Schumaker

All of these are great, but no matter what you should watch The Big Short. It's funny, topical, and will leave you angry in a good way.

Seph Hernandez

A pity La La Land isn't on here, would be a fun rewatch, but Blade Runner is amazing too!

Anonymous

2049! Can finish off the blade runner set. Also this movie is a masterpiece of cinematography, lighting, story and script. Pick an aspect of the craft and this movie has a masterclass on it.

Anonymous

This is a really hard one to vote for. They're all excellent films. For this, it has to be Bladerunner 2049, simply as a follow up to your Bladerunner reaction.

Anonymous

I've seen both. neither are my cup of tea. but my sense is if you like one you will probably like the other.

Anonymous

I wish the community liked romcoms :)

Anonymous

Buuuuuuut, how could you not have The Nice Guys here?! Lol. Its such a great film, and has Ryan Gosling playing completely hilariously against type (like he is in most of these above films).

Marco Pilgrim

Arghhhhh BR2049 and Drive are both *chef kiss*. Voted for Drive but BR2049 was a very close second for me!

minuteforce

I couldn't pick between "Drive" and "Blade Runner"

Anonymous

I vote Blade Runner 2049, but have you already seen La La Land. If not, I highly recommend that one.

Misty Crom

I'd have said Nice Guys, but out of these, Drive for me.

Anonymous

Blade Runner is way overrated imo. You should to consider First Man & Remember the Titans too, even though it’s too late for this poll.

Connor Alexander

BR 2049 is one of my all time favorite films.

Connor Ellis

La La Land, First Man or Nice Guys.

Anonymous

If you’re a Gosling fan, you will really love seeing him in Remember the Titans.

Justin Brinkley

Shocked that nobody is mentioning Lars & the Real Girl. Such a great movie. Good vibes, and great acting.

Lisa Tosti

If blade runner wasn't on here I totally would have wanted a rom com

Anonymous

La La Land!😁

Ken Schneyer

I want you to see The Big Short so that I have an excuse to watch it. 😃

David Crabtree

Not sure if you're doing any reactions for the 4th of July holiday, but The Patriot (Mel Gibson, Heath Ledger) and Independence Day would be perfect choices.

MertzRocks

I've never seen any so I went with the majority.

Anonymous

Would second The Nice Guys if you haven't seen it already. But something for a future viewing... :)

Thomas Yanez

Thank God BR2049 was an option. This is not a poll I ever expected to have to take part in.

Robert Reichle

I only know who Ryan Gosling is from watching Blade Runner, so...

Christian Rennie

Gosh, Drive is a masterful bit of filmmaking with a bold soundtrack. But then again so is Bladerunner 2049. I think you will be blown away by either. Natalie, did you see original Blade Runner? If not, it is a must watch before BR2049, for sure!

Anonymous

2049 is just one of those films. It's a masterpiece. Every film here is enjoyable in their own right though.

Groucho Barx

If you want a film wiht the tensity of Leon, but without the...lets call it highly questionable romantic issues, then Drive is for you =)

Andy Jordan

Blade Runner 2049 might make the most sense for the channel, since you recently did Blade Runner. Also, its director, Denis Villeneuve, is one of my favorite contemporary directors (he did Arrival and Sicario, for example). The Big Short is probably my next favorite of these, but Blade Runner's lookin' good so far. Cheers, Nat!

Nicholas Hentges

Oh nice choices this week! Picking an actor or director is a great way to find some choices

Anonymous

There are 3 shorts available on Youtube you should watch if you want to enhance the BR2049 experience. Villeneuve chose 3 directors to make the shorts to bridge the story between the original and 2049, and they are all worth watching. The have the years they take place in the titles so you get a sense of that worlds development, 2022, 2036 and 2038 with the original taking place in 2019.

Andy Crawley

I would say they’re all great films, especially Drive (Nicholas Winding Refn is another director you should do a deep dive on, both Drive and his film Valhalla with Mads Mikkelsen make a really good double feature), but I’d have to go with Blade Runner 2049, both to compare with the original and to see Denis Villeneuve’s work. I really loved the Big Short, it made the really complicated subject of how and why the 2008 housing bubble collapse happened really easy to follow and understand, and was also really funny. And Crazy Stupid Love is just an all-round excellent romcom. Good choices Nat!

juan calderon

Drive is the best movie on this list a really under appreciated film but blade runner is also really good. Also nice guys shouldve been an option, the movie is great.

Darryl Low

Don't mention La La Land to Natalie, and expect to live to tell the tale! 😄

John Weyen

The Nice Guys is another fantastic Film with Ryan Gosling.

wroot

Picked Blade Runner. But i also liked him in The Nice Guys and Lars and The Real Girl :)

Anonymous

I couldn't imagine watching a movie I'd never seen with Nat. If she watches something I've not seen I'll watch it before watching the reaction.

Anonymous

The Big Short is a great movie, but not really a great 'react to' movie.

Robert Haynes

I am really happy 2049 is winning, especially since I loved your reaction to the original Blade Runner. But Drive should definitely be a future option, it's such a good movie as well.

Jay Beiler

Since you saw Blade Runner not long ago, it'd be good to wrap up that story

Eddie

The Place Beyond the Pines is another good one.

Mike Api

It's good that BR is somewhat fresh in your mind, I voted BR2049. You reeeeaaallly have to pay attention to The Big Short. It's a good movie but probably wouldn't make for a good reaction. You may also be tempted to put your fist through the screen.

Eric Janssen

I don't have a fondness for ANY of the "Boomer resurrection" movies Warner's been doing to try and find something we'll connect to, but I suppose the most you can say about it is "There are worse Ryan Gosling movies."

Niklas

I would say La La Land, but out of the ones on the list I'll go for Blade Runner.

Anonymous

Those are all good movies

JayF

The Big Short should be seen by everyone because of what it's about so I voted for that one. Bladerunner 2049 was good though. I see some others have mentioned The Nice Guys which is very funny and I think you'd love it.

Cripkie

I liked him before he was type cast as the strong silent type. He did a movie with Anthony hopkins called fractured, he was great in that. But yeah, blade runner 2 i guess.

Anonymous

Not an option, but would definitely would vote Nice Guys. Easily one of the best and most underrated movies in the last decade. If not, Big Short for sure.

Patrick Armbruster

Generally speaking, I think already-seen movies need to have a loooooooot of clout to do well for a reaction channel. Things like Indiana Jones work well, because a) it's a beloved franchise (for the first 3 movies at least) and b) you remembered some stuff but not other stuff and the time since you had seen them worked well. "Crazy Stupid Love" is a middle-of-the-bunch romantic dramedy like thousands of others. (I'm sure fans of the movie will disagree heartily, and I'll only say "good for you!" to that.) Doing it as a "seen it once before, but would be okay to do it again" feels to me like rummaging in the unsold DVDs bin in a large supermarket. There are quite certainly a looooooot of movies you haven't actually seen yet that have a similar or better draw both in polls here and in clicks on YouTube.

Cripkie

Drive was good but it hit too close to home for me. Also the notebook is a great watch. But you have to give us warnings for that sappy stuff, we need alcohol if your gonna cry the whole time.

Anonymous

The Big Short - definitely.

Mike LL

Folks, anything but Blade Runner 2049. I don't know what it is about modern films being dreary and boring, but my number one candidate is BR2049. Please, spare Natalie!!!

Anonymous

I would recommend The Nice Guys along with everyone else, but my second Ryan Gosling pick would be one of his lesser known earlier works called Stay, which also stars Ewan MacGregor and Naomi Watts. I can see you watching that flick and giving your signature "I'm confused" over and over again. Haha!

Mike LL

See, if you have to watch 3 shorts to understand your movie, that's a big red flag right there that the movie just should be avoided. I saw BR2049 in the theater and was bored to tears. Maybe because I missed the 3 shorts, huh? (Insert biggest eye roll of all time)

Steve J

Love the big short. As somebody who was working in a real estate adjacent career at the time of the housing bubble it's an amazing look at how things can go so bad so fast (and how we refuse to learn from our mistakes)

Anonymous

THE NICE GUYS!!!!!

Steve J

Independence day, great popcorn action scifi movie. Patriot I'm kinda meh, just seems like a less fun version of Braveheart.

David Olden

I definitely picked BR2049, but I’m surprised First Man isn’t on the list. Gosling’s performance as Neil Armstrong in that is excellent.

Anonymous

I wouldnt watch BR2049 unless youve seen the first Blade Runner

Armchair Wizard

I don't know why 2049 is winning. I voted for Drive because its standalone, and also very good and underrated. 2049 is a terrible idea if you haven't seen the original Bladerunner.

Anonymous

You have to watch Drive at some point!!! 😄

JarHead0351

going to have to sit this one out since the only one I have seen was Murder by Numbers - BR2049 I heard did not measure up - would like to seen First Man on the list so we both would be seeing it for the 1st time

Harry Reece

Definitely 2049 as you so recently saw BR

Anonymous

There is a movie called Stay (2005), Ryan Gosling, Ewan McGregor, and Naomi Watts are in it. I think it's extremely underrated. I understand it isn't popular and won't probably click well, but if you do watch it, I'd be curious to how you receive it. (I'm shooting a similiar type film for my thesis this fall.)

Myles Away

I voted for Blade Runner 2049 for so many reasons but after that you should watch Drive. It's a beautiful film. I love all of Nicolas Winding Refn's films.

Harry Reece

As great as Big Short is, Gosling is barely in it.

Myles Away

Blade Runner 2049 was not a financial success but it is one of the best sequels ever made. Denis Villeneuve had the perfect sensibilities for a modern Blade Runner film.

Saifu

BLADE RUNNER 2049 LETS GOOO!! I've been waiting for this one!!

Anonymous

How can "Lars and the Real Girl" not be an option???

Anonymous

I just love Ryan Gosling's surprise cameo in WandaVsion. Ok, I'm lying so I can mention WandaVision again.

Boticus

Lets keep it going with Blade Runner.

Anonymous

Yo watch the Big Short regardless. I mean just watch all of these. Solid list.

Joe Blankenship

I voted for Drive and Big Short. I haven't seen Blade Runner 2049, but it seems boring to me. How come movies from previous polls never get thrown back in? Seems like the lighter, funnier movies get sprinkled in, then bam, right back to dark and brooding.

Thomas Malley

Well both Drive and Blade Runner 2049 are pretty fantastic movies.

Ahmad Zain

O would have added la la land also it's so good! And natalie when are we going to see Wandavision episode I'm dying for you to see them.

This_Jedi_crafts

I'm excited, if Bladerunner wins, to see what Nat thinks of how it was handled.

Greg McDaniel

My vote is for The Nice Guys, and you can't tell me different.

Danishprince

A bit sad to see Blade Runner 2049 is winning as I absolutely hated the first one when watching that for the first time when you reacted to it so I don't really have a desire to watch the sequel.. Hopefully The Big Short will get a chance another day :D

Matt D

Many of the primary characters in The Big Short were incredibly prescient. It is a great, and still important movie.

Joshua-Lewis

Drive is sooo good

Anonymous

Blade runner is more main stream. Not too many people have seen drive. Otherwise it would definitely win.

Anonymous

Can't comment, can't vote haven't seen any of them.

Anonymous

i know it's not on the vote but i really recommend "The Nice guys" a good dark shane black comedy by the director of iron man 3

Darryl Low

How does it go again - "You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time"

Joe Blankenship

I’m guessing she’s waiting to finish GoT. But… 6 episodes of WandaVision could easily be binged in an afternoon, right?

Stefan Johannsson

2nd that. Frankly, “The Nice Guys” is better than Drive & BR2049, imo. I wasn’t a huge fan of the blade runner sequel. Not sure why it’s winning.

Anonymous

I know its not an option but hopefully it could be in the future, I would like to Nat thinks of the snyderverse and the dceu as a whole.

YodatheHobbit

Drive Drive Drive Drive Drive! Definitely Drive! (I still haven't seen either Blade Runner yet, not gonna watch a reaction to a movie I haven't had the significant interest to see yet, but it's on my list)

Kevin Townsend

Fracture is a good Ryan Gosling movie, also starring Anthony Hopkins and Rosamund Pike.

Myles Away

Also, The Nice Guys. It is a great dark comedy. Ryan Gosling and Russel Crowe are great together.

Ian Forbes

No one recommending Remember the Titans? 😉. Seriously though, Drive is my pick but absolutely add a +1 for The Nice Guys. Obviously BR 2049 is going to win but I hope you’ll get to the other two down the road, Nat. And for one Ryan Gosling film I don’t think I saw mentioned yet, Half-Nelson is a great film. A bit heavy but one I wouldn’t mind revisiting.

Ian Forbes

Yeah, this one slips my mind pretty often but Gosling and Hopkins are great in this as they square off against one another.

Rev.J

BR2049. Make sure you have the tissue box handy.

Anonymous

Definitely recommend The Nice Guys for a Ryan Gosling/Russel Crowe movie. You'll also recognise a little Aussie starlet who later appears in the Spider-Man movies you've seen already.

Garrick Smalley

Don't know that Blade Runner 2049 is his best work but of the choices there Sci-Fi will always win. Note you should see 2049 on the largest screen you have with the best sound system you have.

Rain andMoonlight

It looks like Blade Runner is gonna win but I implore you to see Drive someday. An absolutely gorgeous movie and not at all what you expect

Anonymous

The Nice Guys should get added to your list at some point. Ryan Gosling, Russell Crowe, directed by Shane Black. Amazing comedy, and my personal favorite Gosling movie.

Logan Kerlee

Drive is my pick. It's a movie that plain SHOULD be seen. It may not win in this selection, but I'll be voting for it every chance I get.

Myles Away

The Nice Guys is so good. The chemistry between Gosling and Crowe is phenomenal.

Anonymous

Please watch First Man with him soon, it would mean a lot to me!

Joe D. MacGuffinstuff

My picks always get blown out of the water haha, I was hoping the Big Short would have at least a better showing. Apart from being one of those movies I think everyone should see because the subject matter is important, the movie is just really well made, great cast including Gosling in I think the second most fun role I've seen him in after The Nice Guys (lil disappointed it didn't make the list), the editing really hits, it's a very entertaining way of telling a pretty F*d up story we all kind of lived through in some way. Love Adam McKay as a director.

Sour

You should definitely watch “Bladerunner 2049,” especially since you already watched the first one and the sequel is pretty good, even more so since it was made ~35 years later by a different director and didn’t turn into a complete disaster... BUT - “Drive” is an great movie, with an incredibbbbbbllllleeeeee soundtrack and amazing vibes. It’s got a great cast and Gosling does an incredible job in a roll without a ton of speaking lines, playing the strong silent type perfectly. Just the sheer physicality of his performance deserves to be watched and reacted to!

Tiger Chu

Please don't watch 2049 on a phone

Nathaniel Wolf

I found the big short pretty interesting.

Anonymous

Welp, it looks like BR2049 is going to win this one.(great movie) But there's another Ryan Gosling flick I'm a fan of. The Nice Guys with R.G. and Russell Crowe. It's a fun crime drama comedy set in 1977 Los Angeles. Here's a cool retro style trailer they made for it that doesn't give away too many great scenes like the Final Trailer does. https://youtu.be/WJUES1SIvzw

HALF NELSON!

These are all great movies ....

Anonymous

I dislike voting in these polls. I wish most of them had a "none of the above" option, but a few have needed an "all of the above" option.

Anonymous

Write in Vote: Arsenic and Old Lace (1943) Starring Cary Grant, Priscilla Lane with Raymond Massey and Peter Lorre

Anonymous

Here’s a Gosling movie That wasn’t my favorite, but I’d like to see your reaction to. Lars and the real girl, don’t watch any trailers just watch the movie. LOL

Eric Janssen

I know it's funny, and I saw our high school do the play...But can one of the New Kids Out There explain the sudden viral Reactor-verse fascination with THIS movie, out of the entire Cary Grant comedy 30's?? I get the current Gen-Z obsessions with making every Reactor watch “Gaslight” and “12 Angry Men” as if those were the only “good” Old Monochrome Films From Our Grandparents’ Day When Movies Were Broken, but how did this one suddenly hit the out-of-context everyone-must-see-it button?

Dave A

Another vote for The Nice Guys for sometime in the future :-)

Paul Gibbons

I shall also join you in asking for The Nice Guys it was about my fav movie that year and although it has fairly heavy subject matter it has a light touch which makes it a good film for a change of pace if your looking for one Nat.

Anonymous

Crazy Stupid Love is a great rom-com with an ensemble cast, but not his best romantic movie. Blade Runner 2049 is the same but with a sci-fi dystopian spin on it. If you've seen The Notebook and La La Land then you've seen his best romance work haha.

Andrew Clifton

On this list I'd go with "The Big Short" but "A Place Beyond the Pines" is my favorite movie with him in it.

Sinewmire

Blade Runner 2049 is the best film I've seen in a very long time... it's very long, and quite slow. You have to be prepared to take it in like art.

Peter Heine

on the topic of Sci-Fi movies , if Natalie hasn't watched "Edge of Tomorrow" you should watch it. such a underrated movie. with Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt as bad ass :)

Anonymous

Another good movie he’s in is La La Land! And he sings with Emma Stone so!

Isai Hernandez

Only God Forgives/The Place Beyond the Pines.

Rosanne Stewart

My write-in vote is The Nice Guys. Absolutely hilarious film.

Anonymous

Something in the same vein (same subject matter, different perspective on it) I also recommend anyone who liked The Big Short give a watch is Margin Call. It does have Kevin Spacey in a prominent role, which I know is a big turn off for many people and I get it, but the rest of the cast includes the likes of Paul Bettany, Jeremy Irons, Demi Moore, Zachary Quinto, and Stanley Tucci. And like with The Big Short the subject matter is important, and getting a sort of opposing viewpoint of the same issue isn't something that happens much in Hollywood movies.

Erik Stevenson

I'm stoked to re-watch BR 2049! That said, would definitely like to see reactions to Drive and The Big Short too at some point.

RavenHairedSongbird

Remember the Titans! He isn’t actually the main character so I don’t know if it counts, but it’s definitely a movie you should watch :)

Anonymous

I voted for blade runner because its amazing, but drive is also incredible.

Anonymous

I can see Blade Runner is running away with it (no pun intended) but pleaseeeeee do Drive as well it’s my favourite film😊😊

Cripkie

Yeah top 2 in this list for sure. But in a total list of 4 its not really valuable thought. No dickness, just saying.

Steve J

yup, Big Short always worth a watch. Probably not the most 'reaction worthy' but more like an extremely entertaining documentary :)

Anonymous

The Nice Guys.....😊😊

Martin Heron

I can see I am not the first, but another write-in vote for The Nice Guys at some point!

pedantech

Follow up Bladerunner 2049 with the rest of Denis Villeneuve's movies, or at least Arrival and Sicario.

Ortizmo2000

Nice callback to the buddy-cop movie era....even though neither are cops. Consider this also my write-in.

Joshua Couch

Accidentally hit on a space theme with these suggestions, but First Man and Apollo 13 would be great to watch with you!

Lisa Tosti

Arrival was one of the best movies with an original plot that I have seen in a long time! I would love for Nat to react to it!

MakaPeji

A place beyond the pines please

Jai Nelson

That movie is amazing. I try to introduce it to people all the time. Not real well known but I’ve never shown it to anyone who didn’t like it.

Anonymous

I havent seen much of his work but the nice guys with Russel Crowe was one of the best movies i saw in 2016

Vincent lodato

i think my favorite movie of his is "the place beyond the pines"

Anonymous

Someday, try The Abyss Director’s Cut :)

Anonymous

Logan Kerlee

I've seen all of these and enjoyed each. Drive is what I enjoyed most, and that's what I voted for. Didn't win this poll but there's always next time. It's a movie that's very worth watching at some point! :)

Anonymous

I fully understand why Blade Runner won, but you have to consider the Big Short for another time. This movie is smart and brillant with a lot of star power in non-conventionnal roles.

Anonymous

One of my fav movies with him is Nice Guys

Peter Cohen

You absolutely must watch the first Bladerunner before watching the sequel.
