Dragonheart would be perfect after this

And thus ends one of the greatest trilogies in movie history! So glad you went through these Nattie <3

Randee Carreno

Happy Monday, Natalie! 😊 I'm downloading this right now to watch later tonight. I enjoyed watching this trilogy along with you. Animated movies are so much fun to watch. Looking forward to watching this reaction this evening. And I'll be sure to have a few tissues on hand. Have a great day today! 😊 Until the next video, Stay Golden! 💛

Ian

Yesss right when I’m done cooking breakfast I’m watching this with you love this movie so much

Anonymous

Excited but nervous to watch this because it made me cry so much the last time I saw it which was when it came out in cinemas 😭

Anonymous

Havent actually seen this one yet so lookin forward to watching it after work😁 Kung fu panda is another good trilogy to watch if you havent seen it

JediLounger

If you wanted another animated movie to watch that might not be on your radar, might I suggest a left turn into Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse.

Darryl Low

What a way to start the week Nat. I absolutely loved your reaction to this movie. So emotional. There are just some incredible moments and John Powell delivered yet another amazing score. I'm so glad that we got to watch the trilogy with you on your channel. Love these movies and seeing you get caught up in them was such an amazing experience Nat. Thank you 💛

Niklas

Please finish the Star Wars movies, Nat. :)

Steve J

agreed, the animation is off-the-charts amazing and the story is super fun.

Freya

This was absolutely amazing!!!

Freya

[Coco], Big Hero 6, Brother Bear, Zootopia, Tangled, [Into The Spider-Verse], Kung Fu Panda trilogy etc are all amazing animated movies, that if you haven't seen already, are definitely worth a watch!

Ian

Would love to see you react to the shrek and the kung fu panda movies I'd also recommend ratatouille, brave, the incredibles and zootropolis oh and coraline 🙂 not sure any can beat this trilogy but they are all fun movies imo

Anonymous

Awesome watching these 3 with you. Additional animated we could watch in the future - Maybe Wall-E and Up?

David Crabtree

With the 4th of July holiday coming up, two.films I think would make for great reactions(assuming you haven't seen them) are 2000's The Patriot and 1996's Independence Day.

Anonymous

I second the Kung Fu Panda trilogy for another good Dreamworks series, and a spectacular one that kinda flew under the radar is Kubo and the Two Strings! I think you would love that one.

Joe Blankenship

Hopefully they don't lock up any dragons in this one...

Brian Jones

Yep.... It's easily one of the best animated film series. The only one I can think of that actually feels stronger with every sequel. Even Toy Story, which is amazing, doesn't quite capture the arc that these films do. The Incredibles films are a great ride if you haven't seen them. Great reaction as always.

Calo Grsf

Perfection, thank you Nat for this reaction which was absolutely perfect! 😁 You were definitely in good shape for this one haha, for me it's one of the few franchises with an almost perfect ending. And Lord, you almost made me cry so much you were communicative and powerful in emotion 😭 (that rarely happens haha) But you made me laugh out loud too with your typical line you are the only one who can say 😆 I'm really glad you really liked this trilogy 😃 I just hope you're fine, take care, be safe and stay golden as you are! 💛

G. T. Blackwell

Gotta recommend it again: Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is a *fantastic* animated movie and would tie in nicely with the Marvel movies you've seen already.

matthew h

If you haven't seen it, Inside Out is a really good animated film. Wreck It Ralph and Tangled come to mind too. And the Kung Fu Panda movies. Having a child means I get to see all these films I never would have seen otherwise.

Joe Blankenship

Yep, this one got me crying too. Not as much as Toy Story 3 or Coco though. Those wrecked me.

Brandon Ralphs

COCO. If you haven't seen it, it is a MUST

ISeeTrees ofGreen

Its not an animated movie, but if you havent seen it already, Les Miserables is an absolute tear jerker of a musical and one of my all time fav movies that I would love to see you watch!

Ben Wheeler

For what it's worth, there was a HTTYD tv show as well.

nataliegold

I am so surprised with the number of folks who've suggested Kung Fu Panda! I guess I have to look into it haha

Jayson Phillips

Uggh! I can't believe i never seen this one. Yes I cried too dammit!

Haruto Yuzuki

The dragon venom capsules are like the Morphine drip machines they use at hospitals that give a set dose to the patient and the Venom he uses in his Arrows inject the full dose into the Dragon giving them too much and causing them to overdose/pass out. Also I believe Hiccup wasnt affected by the lightning because of his leather suit he was wearing but im not sure

I’m so glad people are mentioning Kung Fu Panda, I think you should definitely watch it. These two trilogy’s are just 👌👌👌

Matthew Periolat

Nothing to recommend that I haven’t already to be honest. Please, for the good of my tear ducts and heartstrings, stay away from Up. That’s personally too close for me. And you and this movie had me running for Kleenex, I hope you’re proud of yourself and what you’ve reduced me to! We’re good here and we trust you to make good choices. Still Golden.

Anonymous

Definitely have to watch the Kung Fu Panda Trilogy! Has similar themes of self worth, finding yourself, and finding worth in others and unexpected places.

Anonymous

Brave for sure. That and Coco are on my top 13 movies of all time right now. Highly recommend Abominable. Another adorable creature design. The Little Prince (2018) def get the tissues. Kung Fu Panda series is also great. As is Kubo and the Two Strings. Watching movies that I know get me worked up along with you is like surround sound of emotional overload.

NymbusRyder

Natalie, I'm sure you were already aware of this , but th?e character Eret , is voiced by kit harington; John Snow from G.O.T.

LionBro

Please do Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy

Anonymous

I'll throw another hand up for Kubo and the Two Strings. A truly amazing movie when you consider it is stop motion animation. Incredible artistry. Also a great cover of While My Guitar Gently Weeps by Regina Spektor.

This_Jedi_crafts

Watership Down is heavy but well animated and a great story.

DapperKnight

You should watch the kung fu panda trilogy to its also amazing

Anonymous

Your Name (2016), please dear lord!

Anonymous

Love all the animated suggestions. I'm throwing some other genre's in there. Sci fi JJ Abrams - Star Trek 1 & 2 Comedy - Ghostbusters 1 & 2 Rush hour 1 & 2 Blues Brothers (did she already do this one?) Horror - Cabin in the Woods

Anonymous

You need to watch Kung Fu Panda I know the name can be deceiving but its actually a beautiful and amazing story Hope you give it a shot :)

Opti_Frog

Yes. Not only my favourite animated film, but in my top 5 best films ever made.

Anonymous

You should check out Love, Simon and Love, Victor

Anonymous

I suggest Onward, a newer one from Pixar

Anonymous

If it isn't already on tour radar, Raya and the Last Dragon was pretty decent and I can't see what people had an issue with it other than that Disney locked it behind an additional payment with their subscription.

Anonymous

please watch Kung Fu Panda it's another amazing dreamworks trilogy

Anonymous

Going to echo a lot of other folks and say that if you enjoyed this Dreamworks trilogy you will enjoy Kung Fu Panda as well. Both trilogies are done by the same composer (John Powell) and have an amazing musical score that really amps up the emotional scenes which I know we both enjoy. Voiced by an all star cast as well with so many recognizable actors. Plus who doesn't love a little Jack Black pretty much just being himself. Thanks for the content Natalie. Looking forward to watching more movies with you.

Richard Ryan

Hehe... I don't think I will ever see Hiccup tell her, "Save him." again without remembering your... um... vocalization? (Yeah, that's a good word for it.) Stay Golden! :) PS: Just before that, with Hiccup being in the middle of Toothless' Electric Blast... I choose to remember that Hiccup's armour is made from Toothless's own shed scales and that's why he's ok.

Lisa Tosti

I love these movies so much! When you said other Disney Pixar movies have not made you cry as hard as these, it made me wonder if you have seen Coco or Inside Out as those are the two that I love the most and boy do they hit me in the feels! I would love to see you react to either or them!

Xenic Mark

This plus the Kung Fu Panda trilogy are my favorite animated movies. Hope you check out Kung Fu Panda too.

Anonymous

Thank you for reacting to this trilogy! Truly is a heart-warming story. Would definitely suggest WALL-E, but I think you mentioned seeing it before.

LordGrailKnight

Dad Hiccup and Mom Astrid are the best artwork of each character too in my opinion. Really shows that they are the best of themselves later on in their lives. The special that shows them in their adult life teaching their children about dragons before the ending scene is great. Everything HTTYD is amazing, not a single bit of the story was a dud. You should Check out the series it just as good and really goes into the other characters too.

Anonymous

I loved your reactions in these movies Nat! HTTYD sets the bar very high, so personally don’t think you can top this trilogy (as already suggested, kung fu panda would be next best), but I have a few, ‘outside-the-norm’ suggestions that surprisingly haven’t been mentioned yet. Popular movies that im sure you have seen already: toy story, monsters inc, cars, up, Wall-e Great ‘outside-the-norms’: BOLT (an absolute MUST for any dog lover/owner), Big hero 6, Tangled, inside out, wreck it ralph, The Incredibles. Lastly, the underappreciated masterpiece of disney art to watch in your own time because its 100% stop motion, The nightmare before Christmas. (24 photos per 1 second of film time)

Jack Mellor

Natalie, it was great to watch this trilogy with you. I had only seen the first one back when it came out and had been aching to watch the others, I cannot fathom how I never got round to doing it, but I’m glad I finally did. Don’t think I’ve cried that much in an animated movie since The Iron Giant, which I will fight the corner for here right this moment in recommending it to you because it’s a phenomenal animated movie that doesn’t get enough recognition…that’s my Iron Giant appreciation rant over. XD Any animated movie with a central friendly lovable character is a must for the channel.

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time

Great reaction once agian natalie! I dont think anyone has suggested this yet but I would like to add cloudy with a chance of meatballs to the pile of animated recommendations. This movie is not as heartwarming as HTTYD. Its very goofy. If you haven't seen this then please consider it.

Anonymous

This is my personal fav of the 3 but yeah these movies are so amazing and i've loved watching your reactions. Also, when Hiccup is building the automatic tail and Astrid says "You tried this once before he didn't want it" is a reference to one of the first ever short films that was released in 2011 called 'Gift of the Nightfury.' It's really cute and you should really check it out

Anonymous

Hey Natalie, great work as always. If you are interested in doing more animation, I highly recommend you check out at least one Japanese animated film. I know Studio Ghibli is off the table so I would suggest Your Name, something equally as good. It is the second highest grossing film in Japan behind Spirited Away and the biggest animated foreign film not made by Ghibli/Miyazaki.

Jerick E

Thank you for this, was waiting on YT for the longest time for the 3rd film and I said F it and just forked the money to see your reaction to this, oh and I binged all 3 of your reactions here on Patreon as well... lmao gave me a reason to also re-binge the movies myself as a whole. What I also love in this series is how supportive Astrid is of Hiccup, she really had his back without diminishing her own good deeds.

Travis

I just watched all three of these with you and I’m pretty sure that third one was the best IMO. Easily the funniest, animation was superior naturally because of the nine year gap and I don’t think any one of the plots was that much superior to any other. Very solid through and through. All that said, get a grip Nat😂😂😂🤣😂

Yani Dodge

Yay! I cried with you on this one! I'm so glad you watched them all, I honestly needed to watch this one again, I didn't like it as much when I first watched it, but it hit me so much harder this time. It's an amazing trilogy. I'd love to see you watch some more animated movies! Coco, Inside Out, Klaus, or Into the Spiderverse are all beautiful!

Yani Dodge

It's actually out from the premiere paywall now :) I enjoyed it too, there a couple things that caused me pause about it, but I would love to see Nat's reaction and thoughts!

Anonymous

Not sure if anyone's mentioned it, but one thing that's worth checking out is How To Train Your Dragon : Homecoming. It was a holiday special, was pretty short. But it was a further look at the dragon's and the people's lives post 3rd movie and apparently takes place before that end scene.

Your Lie in April

You should check out Spider-man Into the Spider-verse. I know you like to keep the Marvel movies in a seperate pocket, but for one: it's an animated movie, and two: this is a (few) versions of Spider-man that I'm betting you have never seen (or even HEARD of) before. Go check it out. It's a standalone movie (for now) and it won a bunch of awards. I think you will really enjoy it Nat.

Next Gen on netflix is an amazing animated movie.
