Yay! Finally

Ian

Yay finally Nat gets to witness toothless in all his cuteness 🙂 such a wonderful feel good movie I'm excited to get into this one 💛

Randee Carreno

Happy Monday, Natalie! 😊 Getting this movie reaction downloaded to watch tonight. This will be a first time watch for me as well. I've seen a few bits & pieces of this movie. But not the whole thing. My sister told me that this is one of my nephew's favorite movies. I'm looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. Have a great day today! 😊 Until the next video, Stay Golden! 💛

Darryl Low

The day is finally here. The first full-length animated Nattie G reaction. This is such a great movie and I'm so hyped to watch along with you. Going through the day after the night before 2nd covid jab motions, so this is the perfect medicine Nat. Thank you 💛 Such an amazing reaction Nat. I loved it, and I was tearing up with you along the way. John Powell's score is so incredible, and he received an Oscar nomination for it. I really hope you watch the 2 sequels as they are just as amazing, Thanks for the tears and the laughter today Nat 💛

Foggy

I’d love to see what you think of the Toy Story movies if you haven’t seen them all yet, and even if you have :)

Niklas

I'd like to recommend "Bumblebee" as a feel good movie. A really nice, heartfelt movie with a great lead in Hailee Steinfeld. ;)

Jim

Does anyone know if she will be doing the whole trilogy ?

Michael Riley

waiting for the Dark Knight

AC5555

Still highly recommend Star Wars the Clone Wars even though I remember you saying you don't want to oversaturate your channel with Star Wars. Would also love to see you react to Brave and hear your thoughts on it.

Anonymous

This is one of my favorite movies ever, love it

How to train your dragon in 2 steps: Step 1: Get your dragon Step 2: Train your dragon

Edwin Bertilsson

Was expecting you to finish the entire MCU until you were up to date :/

Anonymous

Well i think these were enough Not-Marvel-Mondays😂 jk, you can stop with marvel whenever you want but now seems to be a weird time, as there are only two projects left. Also these new marvel series are all about 6h long, so they could be perfectly split up in two mondays each. But however, hope you have a nice day

Anonymous

Clone Wars has 133 episodes... Yes there are anfew good ones, but this would take years😂

Anonymous

So excited to watch this again. It’s the only animated movie/series that transcends my Top 13 Movies list into my “Ultimates.” Where things like Hobbit/LotR and Star Wars reside.

Paul Gibbons

I would agree that you should knock off Wandavision and Falcon in June then you'll be ready to do Loki and Black Widow basically as they come out which helps the channel as you'll get suggested with all the rest of the reactors as they do it.

Simon Bauer

the music in this film always gets me - second one is even better watch it right away!

Fauxfox

Love HTTYD, it's funny and surprisingly beautiful for a DreamWorks film at the time. The sequels were even stronger.

Fauxfox

Also, everyone needs to chill the the marvel movie Mondays stuff. I'm sure she is just waiting til after to game of thrones to slot them in as a replacement. Wandavision and falcon+winter soldier would not make sense to do on Mondays. They are episodic.

Danishprince

It's just a temporary Marvel break ;) She did fit 23 movies into 24 weeks - That's a lot of Marvel considering the rest of us watched it over a 10 year span

Anonymous

absolutely watch the trilogy

JediLounger

It is absolutely worth watching both sequels. I’ve never really watched the Netflix show, as I am not really into animated TV. But yes. Watch both sequels, they continue the story very well.

Danishprince

The entire Trilogy is must-watch for sure! The Netflix show not so much

Anonymous

As someone who doesnt really enjoy Marvel movies it's nice to get a bit more variety in the Monday slot!

Ian

I'd have said yes to watching the whole trilogy before you'd watched this one, now after seeing your wonderful reaction it's an even bigger yes, what a great start to the week, my cheeks ache from smiling but that's a good thing right 🙂

Calo Grsf

Thanks Nat, the fact that you are very emotional and you are 100% involved in the story, was a true perfection😁! Toothless is the dragon version of Koda, just so cute 😆 I so enjoyed watching this movie again alongside you, and yes the music in the movie is awesome! But I must admit that I expected more tears 😛 I hope you're fine, be safe, take care and stay golden! 💛

This_Jedi_crafts

Had such a great time watching Nat react to this - such a heartwarming movie. I loved it when I first saw it and then, I saw it again when my nephew was young - he just loved it, too. Can't believe it can still "pull at the heartstrings" after all of these years. I think there are two sequels. I remember liking one of them but they didn't stick with me like this one did. Thanks for another great reaction experience!

Joe Blankenship

I’d never seen this. I really enjoyed it. It was less corny than I thought it might be. I would like to see the sequel at some point later on.... but how bout a R rated comedy next Monday?

Anonymous

Just finished. And as expected, loved watching it with you. These movies hit me in all the feels as well, so it’s like a double dose watching someone react similarly. There are two theatrical sequels that I highly recommend.

Anonymous

First movie is good. But it only get better from here. I only mean the theatrical releases. I dont know about the tv shows. The sequels are a mist watch. Its a rare trilogy where the sequels improve upon the first one. Definitely watch them.

Anonymous

Toothless, Hiccup, and their relationship are even more adorable in the second movie. If seeing them fly together made you emotional, you may be tearing up within the first, like, 10 minutes of the sequel.

Anonymous

I don't know if you've come across the channel yet, but just in case, I cannot give a high enough recommendation for checking out: Everything Great About How To Train Your Dragon I love this movie, and I love this guy pointing out exactly why it's so amazing! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-tEFqoFEsw

Anonymous

Totally keep watching the movies! The second one is better—the third is fair, but offers a great conclusion.

Anonymous

Definitely watch the sequels as well.

Lisa Tosti

I first watched this movie in 2018 on my way back from a grad school trip in Brazil. My roommate told me that my two black cats reminded her of Toothless. I said I don't know who that is but they had it for free in the plane ride home so I watched and jeez did I cry! This story is so beautiful and touching and hits you harder when you have a pet of your own and understand the bond between humans and animals. I would LOVE for you to do the other two movies. I was lucky enough to have seen the first two in time to see the third in the movie theater in 2019.

Fauxfox

Sequals are a must, they are even more enjoyable somehow. Very rare for an animated series to get better as they make more.

Anonymous

The gut punch of watching Hiccup and Toothless helping each other walk out the door at the end of the movie will always stay with me, but the #2 best moment for me is when - after Hiccup angrily admits he's the first Viking who wouldn't kill a dragon - Astrid calmly reminds him he's also the first to ride one. That's the spark which gets his wheels turning again.

Anonymous

Love this movie, all the sequels are definitely worth watching. One of the few franchises with almost 0 quality drop as it goes on. There are a series of shorts that are also great and could probably be combined into a compilation reaction. There is also a Netflix series, the quality is great as they are just reusing the movie 3d assets with a "Dragon of the week" style format but its got a little more "Kids TV" style feel to it. Probably worth watching in downtime.

Anonymous

The three of them are definitely worth the shot, as for Kung Fu panda trilogy. :)

Cultured Degenerate

Man, I've seen this movie like 20 times since I was a teen and even now the score and cinematography during the flying scenes still hits me hard :')

Brian Jones

It would be an absolute crime for you to not see the other two films in the trilogy. The sequels are better than the original. One of the very few trilogies where that's the case.

Xenic Mark

Dear God, definitely yes to the sequels. I love 2 in particular. And the music in these is amazing.

Steve J

The Netflix series is surprisingly good for being what could have just been a quick IP money grab. Most of the same voice-actors are involved (maybe just Gerard Butler not there?) and the animation quality is on par with the movies. The episodes are set between what would be the first and second movie and seems about right for what would happen if you gave a group of teenagers a bunch of dragons to screw around on. We also get to see pretty much all the dragons from the book Hiccup was reading.

Ian Forbes

You mentioned having seen most of the Pixar/Disney stuff but if you somehow missed WALL-E, I think it’s still the best Pixar film; full of heart, endearing characters, beautiful animation and score.

Anonymous

You should definitely watch the other 2 movies, each one is better than the one before, such an amazing trilogy. I also recommend giving the Netflix series a watch, so many cute Toothless and Hiccup moments.

Anonymous

2 is better than 1 actually, but thought 3rd was rather average

Anonymous

Loved watching this with you! More family animated movies please! 😄

nexus

It is definitely worth watching the other two

Anonymous

The entire Trilogy is fantastic. The show's pretty awesome too.

Anonymous

Its definitly worth it to watch the trilogy!!

Aaron Chandler

Unpopular opinion: I didn't love this movie. It was just meh for me. But, I think it's probably because all the movies in this vein are all the same. It's very formulaic and I just got sick of it after a while. Nothing against movies that follow a formula. If you've got something that works then milk it dry. Just nothing in this movie that felt new or exciting. But that's just my opinion. I welcome yours.

Anonymous

You should hit the sequel trilogy for star wars. The hardcore fans have mixed reactions but there I think the films are enjoyable overall and it finishes the Skywalker story.

Richard Ryan

I'm sorry, but "...worth watching the others..." almost knocked me out of my chair. The only other thing I'm gonna say about it is: "Kleenex". An unrelated comment is this: Please check out "SC 38 Reimagined" on youtube.

swoop_13-37

A couple underrated animated movies. Mega mind and the book of life.

Cory Stanish

This one was really fun! I'm gonna jump on the bandwagon with everyone saying the sequels are definitely worth it.

Anonymous

Say what you will about the films themselves, but by far the best thing across all 3 is the MUSIC! Excited for you

Anonymous

The whole triology is amazing! Definitely worth the watch =)

Al Baughman

I never would have watched this if you hadn't reacted to it. It was great! Thanks!

Coojw

lets watch all the movies and the show!! (i haven't seen them all yet so its a good time)

Heliastein

Just as good if not better tbh, you should watch all 3 movies i'm ready to watch the next one!

Anonymous

The second and third are even better than the first in my opinion

Anonymous

This and Kung Fu Panda are some of my favorite movies. Gives me the feels every time. Also the score is amazing.

Celereon

Yep 100% worth watching the whole trilogy

Anonymous

I honestly liked the second one the best and the third really rounded off the trilogy well. Highly recommend!!!!!! Thanks again for the great reaction!

Jomero

Just a heads up, it seems like your video is out of sync is about 1 second or so ahead of your reaction. I could be wrong, but you may want to double check it. Oh, and I vote for that you should watch the other movies in this series too. :-)

Tranquil_Gnome

I'm just gland when Nat watches something that will not scar her. I love watching this movie. Great voice acting. Thank you Nat! Glad you are feeling better. BTW This was a great movie in 3D. More animated movies please! Pixar, Disney, Dreamworks, Studio Ghibli . . .Cowboy Bebop anyone? Akira? Last Airbender!

Thomas Malley

I've forgotten how great the music is in this movie. The two main themes are just fantastic work by the composer.

DarkJokester

I love how Hiccup describes dragons in the intro as "pest" and at the outro he called them "pets". I love this movie trilogy because of how consistantly good they all are... can't wait to see you react to the 2nd one :D

Malamute

If you want to watch all the how to train your dragons, i will drop a link for order to watch so you keep up with the story. 3movies, a few short films and like 6 seasons of series maybe. it's worth watching it all through in proper order... ;-) https://mapleleafmommy.com/fun/order-watch-dreamworks-dragons-how-to-train-your-dragon/

Holly R

The trilogy, please!

JayyDTR

Such a well rounded trilogy you'll love the sequels! And John Powell kills the score for these.

Richard Flores

Ok, "not scar her" and then list Akira as a possible movie....

Cripkie

I wasn't expecting to enjoy this, but I did.

WackySwacky

I would say 95% of people who watched those movies disliked them.

WackySwacky

American animation is really basic when compared to anime. Only for kids, simple stories, and everything has the same artstyle. Americans are really uncreative in the animation department.

Sydneyfox

if you liked the music, I highly recommend this youtube video of „Sideways“ where he discribes, why the music is so good in thus film: https://youtu.be/4UUJQH7GLms

Anonymous

definitely S tier trilogy

Yani Dodge

I'm so excited to watch with you and more animated movies! I'd love to see you watch Klaus on Netflix, top notch in basically every way!

Anonymous

My Pops got me into this series, thought it was a weird suggestion but goodness did I love it!

Anonymous

I come here to continue asking for you to watch First Man with Ryan Gosling, its a heavy but amazing documentary about Neil Armstrong

Ellis Hugh

Great movie... but the second one is better! The trilogy is absolutely worthwhile - obviously the spin-off series and later stuff just capitalizing on its popularity can be left alone.

Yani Dodge

Just finished :) Definitely, watch the sequel!

Anonymous

Please do the sequel!

John Smith

It is a trilogy, and the 2nd one is my favorite

Ulrich Unterbrunner

The "Test Drive"-Score still bumps the goose on the skin At the 2011 tattoo parade (scottish military music festival), they played a HTTYD suite with military orchestras from Scotland, the Netherlands, Germany, Brazil and more. Breathtaking! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lw271JVLwYM

Logan Kerlee

Oh my gosh, this movie brought me to tears! I loved it so much. Huuuuuuuuuge thank you for choosing to watch this one with us on Movie Club. :)

Anonymous

Wow, I love watching the Tattoo and try to catch it on TV each year... didn't know THIS happened, though! Thanks for sharing! 🥰

Anonymous

YES PLEASE WATCH THE SEQUELS!!! one of the few times where the sequels are better than the original

Anonymous

In case you weren't already planning on it, you should definitely watch the whole trilogy! One of the best all time trilogies in my view.

Anonymous

It‘s definitely worth to watch the other two parts. But be warned about the third cause you cried a lot in the first… 😉

Freya

this whole trilogy is 100% worth it. one of the best film trilogy in existence. and can't wait for possibly more animated movies you've yet to see! <3 (ex. Brother Bear, Into the Spider-Verse, Coco, Zootopia, Big Hero 6, etc all AMAZING ANIMATED MOVIES you should def consider ;)

Anonymous

As much as the first movie does well as a standalone, it is definitely worth watching both sequels.

Eddie

I'm the same of not watching too many animated movies, and there are exceptions like this one. I enjoy your insight on the drama movies on your channel so far. Love for you to watch First Man and Book of Eli.

Anonymous

The other 2 movies are just as good! I love them all and they are a very much worth a watch.

Anonymous

I had earlier recommended you watch the Tootheless/Jon Snow audition video, but OMG you CANNOT watch that yet... so sorry!!!

Matthew Davis

Yes yes to the other 2 movies!! So good!!

Anonymous

I hope you watch coco that one is really good

YodatheHobbit

As far as warm spirited hearted CGI animation trilogies go, this is one of the best ones.

Kevin Mowery

There have been a bunch of spin-off series, but only three main movies. For another excellent animated film, I know you might be taking a break from Marvel stuff, but Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse is seriously one of the most amazing animated films ever made. Then there's stuff like the Pixar films or any number of films from Studio Ghibli.

Anonymous

Yes to more animated movie content! Would love to see your reaction to the Laika movies - Coraline, ParaNorman, Boxtrolls, and Kubo and the Two Strings.

Anonymous

Good stuff Nat

Kayla Ryan

Great reaction and I hope you do the sequels soon!

ropecrewman36

Speaking of perfect trilogies, if you haven't already, you should definitely watch The Bourne Identity/Supremacy/Ultimatum at some point!

Hugh Jacked-Man

over the hedge is an underrated gem too that not a lot of people have seen. stacked cast too!

Baron

Thank You for the video, "It was so cute"! I probably just really noticed that because I thought I could just watch your you tube reaction but I watched that last night and wanted to see the rest of your reaction and bonus was able to find it on Amazon Prime to watch along with you. Also Your youtube video was great, the little toothless face over your mouth when you swore was just "to cute". It was weird because I remembered the moments of you swearing better with the bleeps in the shorter video. Any way great reaction video, the next movie is.... oh never mind will wait to comment if and when you watch it, Thanks again and til next time. B

Anonymous

I dont know if anyone mentioned but Toothless's mannerisms are based on cats. he's basically a big cat. Also movies 2 and 3 are just as good!

LordGrailKnight

I LOVE these movies, I will share these movies with my children and grandchildren if I am ever lucky to have them, they are beautiful.

LordGrailKnight

I know you are past this, but the entire series, all of them, are great. There is not a dud in the bunch. The series explains all that happened between this movie and the second one. Its great, worth a look, and you get to explore all the other characters.

Anonymous

Love this reaction had me tearing up the whole time with you haha

Anonymous

This was fantastic. I know you said that you're not generally into animated series, but Avatar: The Last Airbender (the series, not the movie!) is exceptional. If you're ever thinking of maybe trying an animated series, I would highly recommend you consider Avatar. (The Dragon Prince, on Netflix, is made by the same creators as well, and is also extremely well done)

FatLittleButterfly

I am back for the animated films! Tangled is a really good one!

Thomas Williamson

The main animator for Toothless had just gotten his first cat when they started this movie, and he was fascinated with the cat's mannerisms. So Toothless has a lot of cat characteristics. (Which is adorable.)

Aaron Taft

this is my Daughter's favorite show
