Yeaaaaaah !

Opti_Frog

Hell yeah!

Andy Crawley

That’s my evening sorted then! You’ve only got Ant-Man and then you get some more Captain America haha

Jedi Mandalore (Dylan)

This movie made me fall off the MCU I just didn't enjoy it for many reasons but thankfully Wandavision made me fall in love again and now I've been like you and watching everything I missed who knows maybe I'll have a new opinion on this movie.

Tay Schumaker

Lot of people disliked this on release, but it has since shown to have a lot of connections to the rest of the story.

Anonymous

I haven't seen this since it released. Excited to watch it again with you.

Aaron Lovik

Me: Feeling like crap. Staying in bed. Sleeping on and off. I'm doing nothing today. *Nat posts new Marvel reaction* Me: Moving to the couch, streaming Nat on my phone, prepping Disney+, grabbing drink and snack.

Andy Crawley

Yeah I think this was when some people started complaining about the “1 and done” villain problem with some of the films, especially as people thought Ultron would be used more through the coming films. But I remember enjoying it when it came out, and you’re right, the amount of links going forward this has to the phase 3 films is kind of crazy!

Ron K

Phase 2 down! On to phase 3!

Darryl Low

Nat saves the day yet again 💛 Thanks for another fun video, Grubby Nat included. So funny for such an anti-climax 😂 It's like we were seeing Nattie Gold's secret identity!😎 This one is definitely a bit of a messy movie, but worth watching for the character interaction. And Nat, shouting " Holy F****** S*** ", not once, not twice but 3 times!!! tsk,tsk Steve would most definitely not approve!! 😂 I too wasn't that enthused about Ant-Man, but it really surprised me.

Sean

Aw yis, we got our witchy woman in the house now! *dances* (Referring to Wanda, the Scarlet Witch, for clarity)

Andy Jordan

Yay! Cueing up my copy right now. I believe today's drink will be milk, and today's snack will be a Klondike ice cream bar. I think my single favorite scene of the MCU is in this film. I think the after-party scene is just wonderful, and does about 10 things at the same time. I also just love seeing the Avengers hanging out and relating, not always having to save the world. Cheers, all!

Troy B.

I didn't care for this one when it came out, but knowing what I know now, I'm really curious to see how it comes across a second time around. (This'll be my first time not seeing it in theaters, too.)

mranderson

Great start to the week!!

Danishprince

I know many people wasn't big fans of Age of Ultron and while it does have some issues I have always loved it. It really started setting up Infinity Stones and the introduction of Vision was handled perfectly

john collins

I enjoyed this movie when it came out, like you thought the ultron was a little too conveniently made and all of that; however please do not let this turn you off to the coming MCU movies. Also a lot of stuff that seemed to confuse you or go over your head might have been bc you just weren't paying as close attention? just know the way the MCU has been delivered they will answer any questions you have either in the film your watching or one coming up or sometimes even just in things like the end credit scenes. the MCU does an amazing job to explain everything that happens so as long as you pay attention to the details everything will fall into place.

Opti_Frog

Yeah, that is a pretty crappy end credits scene, but gremlin Nat is really cute XD I think it's generally agreed that Age of Ultron is the lesser Avengers movie. Not a bad film, but not great either. There are plenty of fun and amazing moments, but Ultrons motivations are weak, we once again have a faceless army to fight off and the climax gets a bit tedious.

Patrick Armbruster

Sooooo glad Gremlin Nat reacted to the end credit scene. :)

This_Jedi_crafts

Oh my gosh - I have such fun watching Nat react to the MCU films. I usually write down her quotes that make me laugh out loud but didn't have a pen and paper handy! I know the movie isn't stellar among the canon of MCU works but I love a story where the "Good guys" are bonding together to fight evil. And, no matter HOW many times I watch it- when Hawkeye drops Nat out of the airship, my heart leaps! - it's amazing.

Randee Carreno

Happy Marvel Monday, Natalie! 😊 This is the best way to spend a Monday. My drink for today's movie is a cherry coke from Sonic & my snack is a couple of small rice crispy treats. This movie ranks in my top 15 best Marvel movies. There were some great parts like the party in at the Avengers tower. Loved the introduction of Vision, Wanda, and Pietro. And it's a good set up for events in future movies. A couple of things I was wondering if you noticed: 1. Sam(Falcon) was at the party scene. He was playing pool with Steve. And he was the one who asked Steve if he found a place in Brooklyn yet. And that he was working on a missing person case, which I've always assumed was Bucky. I also wanted to see Sam as part of that final battle against Ultron. But I love that Rhodey was a part of it. And 2. Did you notice that when Natasha was watching the video of Clint's new baby, the baby had his full name printed on his bib "Nathaniel Pietro Barton? Clint gave his son part of the name of the man who saved him. 😊 We are getting so close to "Captain America: Civil War"! That's another one that I'm SO EXCITED for your reaction on. Up next: the last movie of phase 2 & a fun one: "Ant-Man". Until the next video: Stay Golden! 💛

Anonymous

Ooh! Almost done with Phase 2! Can’t wait for Phase 3! Great Reactions as always~

Andrew Dickinson

To grubby Nat....Thanos picked up a Gauntlet...just remember that in about 4 movies :)

It Hurt A Lot

This one wasn't a favorite of mine but like others said, it did have future implications. If a film is like a 5 to me, watching it with you will bring it up to a 7 or 8. So I still enjoyed it. What I did like about it was it felt like a comic book. With "full page" action shots of all the Avengers on the same screen. And cool visuals of them using their powers.

Jayson Phillips

you looked great!!! love your reactions lol. Have you seen the movie Lucy with Scarjo? She is really good in that movie too! Can't wait for your next one! you are the best!!!!

Jeremy Vickers

Oh thank goodness now you’re talking!

Paul Thomas-Humphreys

My wife was working late tonight, so I said to her ‘I’m going to watch Age of Ultron with my good friend Natalie’ Should’ve seen the look I got!

Calo Grsf

I just finished watching your reaction and thought you were really funny haha I really loved it! But I have maybe two advices, don't watch the castings and maybe you should put a post-it to remember the post-credit scenes in marvel movies 😆 What do you think? haha Stay Golden and be safe! Ps: Where was Koda in the video? 😭 haha

Anonymous

Super fun reaction ! Not my favourite one of the MCU but it is still good (better after seen the next ones) ! Fun fact about Friday, she is voiced by Jennifer Connelly, Paul Bettany's wife, The actor playing Vision and who voiced Jarvis before that :) I find that cool ! Stay Safe Everyone !

Anonymous

And you do see Pietro putting an earing device at 1:40:57 of your video :p

The Golgothan

Hoodie Natalie was the highlight of this movie

Ian Forbes

Another fun reaction! To answer a question (no spoilers of course): The only infinity stone that seems to be “too powerful” for just anyone to hold is the power stone (purple). One could argue the reality stone (red) is also not a pleasant embrace but basically, handling the stones is some MCU logic that is never explicitly explained and you’ll just have to suspend disbelief. 😄 Also, some of the end credits scenes are teasers, some are just for fun, and most are pretty short. Be careful as sometimes there are multiple scenes in the credits. I’m sure I’m not alone in saying “grubby” Natalie is more than okay if you feel like it. These scenes are probably not as fun for you since you’re watching these in such quick succession but for us, we had to wait months or years for these things to pan out. Keep up the great work!

PickettsChargingPort

So sad it's going to take you so very long to get to Wandavision

Brandon Scott

Ok, so really enjoyed the video... just going to mention a couple of things because I just don't have the time to explain why nearly everything you said was "too convenient" actually made sense just fine. 1. It's just that easy to make artificial inteligence. 1A. No, It was the mind stone's power (remember Tony said that his readings from inside the mind stone basically showed a very advanced computer). 2. Vision finding Wanda. 2A. Vision has the mind stone. Even if you ignore the fact that Wanda's power was gained from experiments with the mind stone, given her psychic abilities and the nature of the mind stone, especially considering how much pain she was in, Vision being able to sense her seems perfectly reasonable to me. 3. He built a new body already. 3A. Yes, if you'll remember, Tony said that he found a set up pretty similar to his (as far as a robot factory) in Strukers building. Remember when he went down there and there was that big alien hanging form the ceiling and all the robot parts. That's where Ultron went and built his new body. All the parts and machines were there and ready to be put to work. So yeah, he built himself a body. Oh, and when Tony said that Jarvis was already beating Ultron he was talking about how Jarvis was the one changing the codes to the worlds nukes in order to keep Ultron out. Also, we absolutely see at least Pietro pull out, look over and then put in an earpiece... literally 5 minutes before you say that we never actually see the ear pieces, lol. I thought that was funny. So that's just a couple. Again, really enjoyed the reaction. I'm just a little afraid that if you go on thinking that so, so many things are being plucked out of no where or that there are so many plot holes that you might begin to lose respect for the MCU or even not enjoy the upcoming films as much. Oh, and P. S. The Mind Stone is not oddly named in comparison to the rest of them. The Tesseract isn't the name of an Infinity Stone. INSIDE the Tesseract is the Space Stone (or Gem in the comics). INSIDE the Orb was The Power Stone. In the Loki's Staff was the Mind Stone. The Aether comes together to form The Reality Stone. And then there is the Soul Stone and the Time Stone. This is what they're called. (so I've had some issues with people misinterpreting my tone in text recently so I just want to reiterate that nothing said here is meant to be rude or insulting. I'm sincerely just trying to share some of the more common knowledge about the show that you seem to be missing due to doing your job of entertaining us very well. It is common, I've noticed, among reactors to miss some finer points. And I believe that's because you spend so much time communicating with your viewers and giving that energy to your audience. I appreciate that and am just trying to share my thoughts. I love your videos and really hope this message is received in the spirit in which I send it.

Martin Heron

A minor point for the start of the film (and the post-creds of Winter Soldier): I'm pretty sure Strucker didn't necessarily *steal* the sceptre from SHIELD, he was a Hydra agent within SHIELD and his department was given the sceptre to experiment on. As he says, "technically he's a thug for SHIELD".

MotoDork

Excellent bit of information. I in no way took any of it to be rude. I will say, and I also mean nothing rude by this, that Natalie does tend to talk a lot during the films, and she does tend to miss some important plot points and general information at times. Again, just an observation, nothing more.

It Hurt A Lot

Grubby Natalie is exactly what I look like while watching your reactions so this actually seems like an appropriate look to me

Anonymous

Gremlin Nat is my new favourite Nat

Ian

wonderful reaction as always you sure are funny nat :) James spader was the voice of ultron you might know him as raymond reddington in the blacklist . adored your editing nat but remember always watch to the end :)

Christopher French

Don't feel bad about the whole Bruce/Nat thing in the movie. It's the weirdest and weakest part of the film and nobody liked it when it happened.

Anonymous

Great reaction Nat, really enjoy watching the film with you especially with the COVID-19 lock down where you can't share the experience in a movie theater. "Friday" is Irish. Tony's new AI is voiced by Irish actress Kerry Condon. You may know her from her roll as Octavia of the Julii in the HBO series Rome.

Anonymous

Watching you get increasingly worried for Hawkeye was fun.

Baron

Thank You so much for this awesome reaction, one person beat me to the punch on this comment sort of but "Language" Nat "Language" your swearing is funny in this reaction, and as someone else pointed out Steve would not approve, so funny. Thank you so much this was such a great reaction that you made, I think the fact that you missed the end credits scene and then came back and fixed it was hilarious tell me you didn't do that on purpose! Till next time.

Anonymous

You're kind of in luck, all told, that this is probably the biggest example in the MCU for plot confusion and uneven pacing. It's Whedon's last MCU film, and he was clearly exhausted and frustrated with the process, and it shows. His witty banter, which was so strong in the first "Avengers", is kinda used to paper over the cracks in this story's plot, and you end up with this thing that feels simultaneously too uneventful and too busy. A lot of great elements are introduced, Wanda, the Vision, etc, but, as a standalone, it's borderline incomprehensible at times and needed some serious streamlining. But it's kinda good for you to have got it under your belt, because even though the franchise gets bigger and the line-up more crowded in later movies, they are nevertheless way more focused and comprehensible as stories. So yeah, strap in because the third phase is pretty darn great and just gets better and better.

Warren Van Wyck

I wish downloads weren't so limited. Less than 7 hours since the video was uploaded the quota has been reached. Oh well, guess I'll try to download the full length reaction tomorrow.

Christopher Boscarino

just going to mention than the actor who played the vibranium smuggler with the brand on his neck is the very same actor who played Gollem in Lord of the Rings, both body capture and voice. I just watched your reaction to those the other day.

Texas Anla'Shok

Loved the reaction, a couple points to make. We don't see Bruce's nightmare because he lives it all the time. Actually, we do see it. The Hulk rampaging out of control. Wanda'a power came directly from the Mind Stone. That's why she and Vision have a connection right from the start. The difference between Ultron and Vision was the first time Ultron looked onto the world, he became consumed with its flaws and fell into despair. Vision, the first time he looked saw a place of wonder instead. That helicarrier is the first one we saw in the first Avengers. We see it getting refitted in "Agents of SHIELD". And on Thor being funny, just wait till Thor Ragnarok. He goes full comedic there.

BJ Stephens

I think the whole Black Widow/Hulk romance thing was handled poorly. They kinda pushed it out of nowhere with no real groundwork in previous films, and did a ham-fisted job of it. If I had to guess I think they were trying to flesh out the Hulk's character beyond Big Green Rage Monster who crushes things. Beyond people who read hulk comics, I don't think most casual MCU viewers know much of anything about the Dr. Banner side, and unfortunately I feel like most people don't connect or identify with a scientist (sadly not a cool/interesting job to a lot of folks) so they tried to put him in the middle of a drama/romance plot to make him more interesting when he's not destroying stuff. Just my thoughts on it, for all I know that's not what they intended at all lol.

Calculatus Eliminatus

Don't forget the battles with the "Creative Committee". The banished it shortly after and the Marvel world flourished because of it.

Calculatus Eliminatus

A couple of your questions are answered in a certain show (Agents of Shield). How do they know Loki's Sceptre is there? Where did Helicarrier come from? If you hadn't seen the movie the existence of these things would be a spoiler but since you have seen it and and asked the questions. The answers you seek are in the show.

George Baxter

Age of Ultron is my favourite MCU film; so weird and soulful. It also perfectly sets up the stories to come. I would say the plot is dense rather than 'convenient'. All of the issues you had are addressed but there's so much going on in this film its hard to comprehend everything. I love this movie because it feels like a movie; there are locations, cinematography. Where the first Avengers feels like a TV set and the later ones are all CGI this feels grounded and even grungy. I like Ultron's overpowering sentience; the moment he becomes self-aware he judges humanity as we fear AI would. He's a dark reflection of Tony that comes together inevitably from Wanda's magic, Thor's power and evolves into Vision. For a Superhero team-up film it muses about the problems with humanity and the ending between Ultron and Vision is perfect to me. Thank you for reacting.

Alan Kobb

Having a lot of fux watching, Nat! The guy who wouldn't shoot in Winter Soldier was saved partly by Sharon Carter being a badass, and also by hiding under a console. He's no badass, but he's a survivor and he's dedicated, whoever he is.

Anonymous

HAHAHAHA! I love "End Credits Natalie"! And yes, you should always watch the end credit scenes. Sometimes they are useless... but many times, they are the sweet sweet apetizers that we all crave. LOL! thanks for watching them. :)

Kai

No she isn't, Jennifer Connelly voices Karen, not Friday.

Matthew Periolat

Well, I don’t object to Gremlin Nat, but if you want to edit out from the YT, that’s up to you. The Vision got his sobriquet from Thor saying he had a vision with the Mind Stone at the center. He got to Wanda because Wanda got her powers from the Mind Stone, so he could sense her. Yeah, not explained well, but there ya go. As for Viz and Wanda... stay tuned. Not a lot of people bit on Nat and Bruce. A lot of people really disliked it. I’m OK with it personally, but there are other relationships I’m far more invested in and some still to come. Good that you don’t know what to expect from Ant-Man! No one did! Interested to see your thoughts as the roller coaster builds to Phase Three. Me? I’m still here smiling and enjoying your voyage of discovery. Next time!

Gary

I gotta say, Love Saturday Gremlin Nat! Too cute for words n glad you left that in! If you love Paul Rudd, you're gonna LOVE Ant-man, guaranteed! Also, I just cant cant CANT wait for you to see Thor RAGNAROCK, such an amazing Thor movie & directed by Taiko Waititi!

Tranquil_Gnome

Another person losing an arm in the MCU movies. This time it was the weapons smuggler. Not the last time we see that character. Keep up the good work. I cannot wait for the next instalment.

Chris Gronau

I've hit the download limit a few times. I've gotten around it by creating my own Google Drive account and creating a copy of Nat's video in my account. Once I've created the copy, I can download the copy without a problem. Technically, I think that mean's I'm pirating Nat's video, but I'm hoping Nat forgives me.....

Chris Gronau

I second this. I can't say that Gremlin Nat made the video, because it still would have been great even without Gremlin Nat. But Gremlin Nat definitely made it better. :-)

Vincent Valentin

Im one of the people who really likes this movie, its def flawed which comes from Joss and Marvel having issues. There was some conflict over the MCU world building for future movies and trying to make the story deeper for this one. I never had an issue with the Black Widow Banner storyline but it was a big issue for a lot of people. I just like Ultron as a villain, but yes hes introduced rather rapidly. Some of your comments made me even more hyped for some future movies. ALSO, i don't know how active you are in social media but if you are on twitter id just go ahead and mute words relating to the MCU because between Wandavision and the rest of the MCU shows coming out theres gonna be a constant stream of spoilers.

Misty Crom

Just to add to what others have said with Nat and Bruce. It does sort-of make sense that Banner'd be the guy she's interested in. She's known fighters all her life, and so the big, strong type isn't what she's into. Bruce isn't that. He's a thinker who avoids the fight if he can help it. Also, Clint's line "The city is flying, we're fighting and army of robots and I've got a bow and arrow!" is one of my favourites from the entire franchise. Also, the film does set a lot up for the future, as much as it ties up a few things from the start. Also nice to see Fury having brought back that guy from Winter Soldier who refused to launch the helicarrier-things. Also, Sam was busy doing some work for Steve if you remember.

Chris Gronau

Yeah, people getting arms cut off in Phase 2 of the MCU is supposed to be a tribute to the Star Wars movies. Someone gets a hand cut off in each of the 3 original Star Wars movies (A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi)....

Thomas Malley

It might be my autism that prevents me from catching everything that's going on in a movie, but watching it alongside you as you react and talk really helped me notice so many things in this viewing that I had never put together before. Like how plot lines were connected, and the emotional stakes for the characters. I really enjoy these videos a lot!

Thomas Malley

It may have been called Age Of Ultron, but it's really more like Birth Of Vision.

Thomas Malley

I personally like it better when she's just her relaxed self. that's the version of her from the very first reactions. but she looks pretty in make up too, it just feels different than movie watching at home vibe. but I have no complaints either way. she's a lovely person to spend 2 hrs with no matter what she looks like.

Joe Blankenship

Yeah, I’m not a big fan of this one. It’s got some fun moments, and it’s a necessary stepping stone for what’s to come. But I have issues with the Ultron character. Didn’t like the snarky, sarcastic stuff and that they gave him a weird rubbery mouth. All in all, I think you’re gonna LOVE Ant-Man. Can’t wait to watch with you.

Anonymous

I also think a lot of films don't always do a good job of explaining time jumps so it seems like things happen immediately when the writer intended for them to be says or weeks apart.

Anonymous

I say he is a basis for refusing to launch the hellicariers even with a gun to his head. He can't fight but was still 100% ready to die to do the right thing.

Anonymous

Also I think there will be 2 for each movie going forward. 1 to set up the next film in the particuler series and one that sets up the next MCU film coming out.

thescourge

A lot of fun watching with you once again Nat, just try and talk over the action rather than the dialog (a lot of it was plot related and caused the bits of the plot you didn’t follow). I know it must be tricky to manage the balance between sharing your thoughts and not missing important parts so I’m not trashing you or anything.

Tiger Chu

Grubby Natalie should show up more often

Endling_king

James Spader is the person who was the voice for Ultron. he's an amazing actor. the way he talks and his fast little quips and jokes. hes in a show called "the black list" which i highly recommend. and if you want to see a young James Spader you should watch the original Stargate movie. also some of the jokes in Age of Ultron weren't scripted. like Hawkeye's line about nobody knowing if he shot Pietro and that whole line about Ultron was sitting on him, etc. wasnt planned.

Amos T Fairchild

Nat has always been special, but Wanda is a new fave member of the team. And Vision. One day you might get to see WandaVision. ;)

Thomas Malley

usually she handles this balance well. but at least she keep subtitles on, so she can catch up if she misses something. I assume that works some of the time.

Thomas Malley

not only the voice, also the physical performance. that whole opening of him walking around like a puppet just unstringed was all James Spader in a mo-cap suit.

Kelvin

We did in fact need to see grubby natalie for a 5 second scene

Alan Kobb

I like both Natalies.

LudicDave

I'm sorry but, at times it really felt like we were watching two different movies. Like I was watching an extended edition where everything is explained. Like shouting "what about Natasha" over dialogue of Tony and Bruce literally talking about her. Or being confused about Tony making an AI after he's had an amazing AI for 4 movies and they just mentioned the scepter is an even more powerful computer. Or about Ultron having a new body in the very next scene after we see him upload himself into a robot body factory in Sokovia. This movie is not difficult. Nearly all the main action moments are preceded by them mentioning exactly why it happens. Shouting "I'm so confused" about things that were mentioned or shown mere seconds earlier (which is 90% of the things in this movie) is not cute or funny. Nor is browsing the web in the middle of the movie to look up actors. This really feels like when you're excited about showing a movie to one of your friends, and then they miss half the plot and end up not understanding why you liked it at all. I felt like the reactions to Guardians and Winter Soldier were pretty good, but now we're back to the style of your Thor 2 reaction, which was also not great. I don't watch reactions to be annoyed, so I feel like this is the time for me to check out.

JediLounger

Watching it now, catching up on your content after being out for a week haha. Really enjoying the Ultron reaction. There are too many comments to go through, so sorry if this is saying something that has already been said, but I would seriously consider watching select X-Men movies after we finish the MCU, but BEFORE you watch Wandavision. It will be worth it. X-Men, X2, Skip X-Men: Last Stand if you want(read the Wiki), then watch First Class, Days of Futures Past and Apocalypse, and Wolverine and Logan in the right order. Skip Dark Phoenix if you want. Also skip X-Men: Origins Wolverine (Wiki it). After that, Watch Wandavision. I promise it will make sense after you watch it.

Anonymous

I didn't care about the after credits scene, but we need a lot more "gruby Nat." You're sitting down to watch a movie at home with your friends. Who does that with fresh makeup? Bring on the sweats, slippers, and White Claw.

It Hurt A Lot

I disagree, this movie was difficult at times. Just because it was explained doesn't mean it was explained well or it was easy to understand to everyone. Maybe to you it was. As for me, I was a bit confused watching this for the first time too. As were many other people. Even more so if you have to talk like she does. That's a common reaction to this movie. And she is a reactor, so....

Elvenwitch

It isn't about Thanos in the end credit scene. It is more about the glove he put on. If you were a comic book fan, that was an intense squee moment in the theaters.

Garrick Smalley

Yep the whole Nat Banner romance does not work for me either. Why did you think Pietro would die? What are you talking about... there is nothing ridiculous in these movies. Yes of course you have to do the end credits as is. Only because your attire is a good commentary on the uselessness of it.

Jon Hoover

Nat, unfortunately, I think you missed a lot of exposition while you were commenting and reacting. (Downside to the job) You may benefit greatly by rewatching Avengers 2. Just a suggestion.

Ron K

Definitely agree! For for the sake of time I think Nat could even do just the First Class movies first, at least the first 3 then come back to the others.

Pokerpope

Which bits did she react over? May give her a hint of something to go back and look at if she's to busy reacting to other things.

Chris (darkwater)

Still can't d/l the video.. man Google, loosen up.

Nicholas Hentges

It is a super short end credit scene, it probably doesn't need to be in the yt video. Some are more important than others, but that being said, I dont think any of us have a problem with grubby natalie

Ella

So you're saying that you didn't enjoy any MCU movie from Ant-Man to Spider-Man: Far from Home?

Thomas Malley

log into your google account and then start a incognito or private tab in chrome/safari and then it should work.

Anonymous

Awesome once again ! Can't wait for you to start up Phase 3 which holds all the best Marvel movies !

Robert Carroll

Not my favorite Marvel film, but it has my favorite scene from any Marvel Film so far.

Byron

I’m just going to say it. “Grubby Natalie” is adorkable and I totally have a crush on her. “Dressed up Natalie” is perfectly wonderful, but I can’t help it. I’m on team grubby.

Loneclaw

Don't worry, Nat. You looked positively adorkable while watching the end credits scene. :3

Anonymous

Editing Nat is my favorite Nat

Armchair Wizard

Loved the reaction as always, but as others have mentioned, a LOT of your questions are answered by the dialogue you talked over. It doesn't bother me, because we're here for YOUR reaction, however, a good number of your questions and even complaints about things that "didn't make sense" are such because you missed dialogue explaining it. I know that more than likely you'll catch most of it in the editing process. Great reaction, ive enjoyed every film you've reacted to so far!

Darren Withers

It’s interesting you mentioned that S.H.I.E.L.D. was DEFINITELY not around because they were destroyed in Cap II. In fact, remenants remained, and season 2 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. actually gives the story leading up to the initial battle scene. Age of Ultron would have been very different without the Theta protocol, and they were the ones to track down List and Von Strucker of Hydra to the castle.

John Weyen

How did Vison know where Wanda was? He has the mind stone in his head. He doesn't realize or understands it's power, but he can connect to people with it. Wanda doesn't yet fully realize the extent of her powers either, you see this in later films when she able to do more and more with them.

Oouga

Wanda's powers came from experiments done on her with the mind stone, so her powers are visible to the stone. That is how Vision found Wanda. Ultron kept getting around and quickly making bodies because he cruised through the internet and utilized whatever robotics he could commandeer.

Joseph C Gdaniec

Also the reason that Tony was able to make Ultron so fast is because the Mind stone already has a certain level of sentience just bc it is specifically the "mind" stone. So they didn't really make ultron so much as accidentally connect a version the mind stone to human tech. Also, in case you were unaware it is pretty well accepted in programming and sci-fi communities that a hostile AI with network access could easily mass produce itself weapons and the like to use, which is why they went this route with Ultron making tons of new bodies and using Tony's Iron Legion assembly machines.

Cory Silver

126 comments, I'm sure this has been answered, but when Vision first met Ultron, he cut him off from the internet, so he can no longer swap to a new body, or escape into the net. So let's roll into this next movie! I just did GoTG a few hours ago, but yeah, why not? So, Age of Ultron. I think, the first "Age of" event was "Age of Apocalypse" which was a huge X-Men story in 1995. Basically Professor X (The X-Men's leader guy) Has a crazy son, who went back in time, to kill Magneto (Wanda and Peitro's Father) He messed up and killed Professor X instead, and that drastically changed things, so one of their old enemies took over the whole world. Eventually things worked out and went back to normal. In the comics, there was an Age of Ultron story, but, it was very different from the movie. Basically, it ended up with Wolverine traveling back onto the past, to kill Hank Pym, before he could create Ultron. (Ant Man created Ultron in the comics, not Tony Stark). Anyway, Wolverine really messed things up with that, because it turns out Hank Pym was pretty important, so he just created a different horrible situation. And then he went back in time again, and went to the Savage Land with Nick Fury, and yeah. It was a bunch of chaos. But, going back in time so much damaged time itself, and I'm sure nothing like that will ever happen in the MCU. Time Travel? Yeah right! Ok, well, I'll hit play now. I'm sure it will be a fun watch. --- Just finished the movie, and it was both better and worse than I remember, mostly better. Seeing the creation of the Vision was a real treat, seeing Wanda's movie origin was great too. After watching WandaVision, it was all very good to see. I liked Quicksilver a lot more in this re-watch than I did before. I guess because I was looking at him as some sort of imitation Quicksilver. There were a lot of action scenes, that is true. I think people complained about that when the movie came out. It took this re-watch to really get the significance of Vision being able to cut Ultron off from the internet. If he didn't do that, Ultron could just beam himself across the world, and produce more of himself, forever. But cutting him off let the "last one" be killed, because I guess Marvel really didn't want him coming back again. It's kind of like this movie is just setting up a lot of things.
