Jedi Mandalore (Dylan)

That explosion dropped by Boba Fett's Ship first appeared in Attack of the Clones used on Obi Wan by Jango when Obi was tracking him. It appeared mostly in Video Games after that but this is the first time since Episode 2 that we saw it on screen. The operation Bill Burr's character talks about was a order sent out (pre recorded by the emperor) to high ranking Imperial members when/if the Emperor dies pretty much bombing Imperial worlds for "Failing their Emperor"

Looking forward to seeing your reaction to this and the finale. I loved the PTSD part of Bill Burr’s performance, and just the few seconds of “what the fuck” silence straight after he shoots Valin Hess!

Andy Crawley

Also the Operation Cinder that they discuss is part of the Battlefront II game. Favreau and Filoni are so good at incorporating so many random parts of Star Wars lore.

Sean

Bill Burr's performance here is great. I hope Migs shows up again next season.

Gath Bard

I'm glad you watched the last 2 episodes back to back. A wise choice.

David Crabtree

Wow, this was earlier than expected! When are you planning to upload the season finale?

Ahh, this was so fun! I can't wait to see your reaction to the final episode!

Ian

So glad you made it through the series spoiler free Nat, after watching this episode it would have been hard to not watch the finale right away so glad you did just that 🙂 I have my drink i have my snack time to start watching this one 👌

Darryl Low

So glad that you avoided any spoilers. Quite an accomplishment. Loved your laugh as Bill Burr spotted Mando coming down the ramp. Another great episode with some good action stuff, but it's definitely the character moments that make this episode. The exchanges between Bill and Pedro are so good. Give someone a second chance he'll prove his worth to you, and Bill came good in the end. He has a great team. This is the first time you get to see inside Slave-1, so it was great to see the inside rotate and the sonic charge launched at the screamy planes has that incredible sound design. Great reaction Nat, thanks, and to watch you revelling in Mando's ultimatum to Moff Gideon was so cool. One more to go, and I look forward to watching along with you.

Randee Carreno

Absolutely loved this reaction. This was on of my favorite episodes. I'm hoping that that we get to see more of Bill Burr's character in season 3. The same explosion that Boba Fett dropped on the two "screaming planes"(my new name for TIE-Fighers 😂) was the exact same one that his father Jango used while Obi-Wan was chasing them in "Attack of the Clones". I loved how Mando threw that speech from season 1 back at Moff Gideon. The part of that speech that I love that was slightly changed was, I think Gideon said "it means more to me than you'll ever know". And Mando made it a point to say "HE means more to me than you'll ever know". I'm so BEYOND EXCITED for your reaction to the season finale. I hope that you remembered to watch all the way through the end credits. The season finale is so amazing!!!!!! Until the next video, This Is The Way & Stay Golden! 💛

Already finished the rescue....... Wonder how long she took to figure out who the Jedi was..,.. it would so so totally cool if that was just dropped on here tomorrow.... Just saying. Fun fact. Word on the street is, luke skywalker is to be recast for future appearances..... And got I hope it's Sebastian stan... That would give this show 2 fan castings.

Ryu Kobushi

Mando delivered the same msg to Gideon but with a small key detail changed that has major emotional weight to it. Mando says, "HE means more to me" while Gideon said "IT means more to me"

Just a reminder to stay for the post-end credits scene after you watch season finale Ep.8.

Alot of fans don't like boba fett's new paint job. What they usually miss. Is this is boba reborn. A whole new boba.... Funny it pops up here. Showing burrs character being reborn as an ally rather than an enemy.... As I explain it here. I don't find it funny at all.

It Hurt A Lot

It's weird, in the show recap for the finale it shows Mando saying IT but in the actual episode Mando says HE

Chris Gronau

Damn. I can get used to this increased rate of content. :-)

that poor poor shoretrooper, all he wanted to do was enjoy his meal in peace.

Thank you, Nat, for realizing a truth about Star Wars: it is what you put in. To me, TIEs and Mandalorians. To you, screaming planes and Power Rangers. And we’re both right, because either way, we see a story we enjoy. And that is a good thing. Love the call back speech too. Basically broadcasting that Daddy’s home. And he will unleash hell to save his son. One week. I can do one week. I am strong. *whimpers* Staying Golden...

Robert Avila

Loving the amount of reactions we're getting now. All wonderful. This episode was so amazing. I liked Mayfeld from season 1, but was so well fleshed out in this one. Everything about his past, and his view of the way regular people see both sides of the war the same was incredible. Looking forward to the finale. Till next time, "SCREAMING PLANES!"

Amos T Fairchild

Well, there's always Babylon 5, but that is a bit more of an investment in time with story arcs over 100 episodes or so... lol.

Eric

Hey Natalie if you’re going to jump into a new series I highly recommend Breaking Bad Easily one of the top rank shows of all time for me anyway that and Lost. Another great show of it’s time.

Amos T Fairchild

I just rewatched the series. I found it more relevant than ever in the recent political climate ;) Sure, the effects are a bit dated, but it's primarily story and character driven.

Joe Blankenship

I’m glad I waited for these to come out before I watched them the first time. Especially with these final 3 episodes. I was able to binge them back to back. Since I guess you’ve already finished the season, you know what I mean. Epic. And some familiar faces...

Ugh, not lost. The ending of the show was pretty roundly canned by critics and the public alike. It was a huge letdown after investing yourself in the series.

Thundarr100

Hey Nat! Can't wait to see your reaction to Season 2 Episode 8! You'll be totally geeking out to the finale (I know I was). As for what to watch next? I'll suggest watching The Karate Kid movies, followed by the series Cobra Kai. Karate Kid just barely lost to James Bond in your last poll (seriously, it was like a 10 or 20 vote difference and they both had votes that numbered in the hundreds). So clearly a lot of your viewers want to see you react to them. Also the Netflix series is only three seasons of ten 30 minute episodes per season, so you'll be able to get through it all really quickly. And on top of all of that, I genuinely think that you'll enjoy the movies and the series. It has a little bit of everything that you seem to enjoy.

Thomas Malley

they didn't know where they were going with it, which the worst crime you can commit as a storyteller.

Amos I agree. That early CGI didn't hold up well at all. I want to check out the remastered version they just put out but I won't hold my breath on the effects. But the show was really more about the people and there's some character arcs in there that are still amazing.

Anonymous

"Let's just say they might recognize my face." Subtle call back to the millions of Clone troopers who shared that face. Love it. More Bill Burr would have been a good thing.

Garrick Smalley

Please keep coming up with your own names. I Love It.

Garrick Smalley

I always find it fun when actors need to act like they can't act.

I'm glad to hear you can't be spoiled for the final episode! I hope you manage that for subsequent Marvel films, though I've seen tons of potential spoilers in your YouTube comments, so be careful. (They might not look like spoilers now, but later on if something happens and you might think, "But wait, didn't someone comment that [blah blah blah]," and... anyway, now I've said too much.)

Loving your reactions, especially to the mandalorian and the marvel film's. I would highly recommend watching stranger things. All 3 seasons are on Netflix 👍👍👍

Troy B.

Since you've already seen the ending to Mandalorian Season 2, here's a great song mashup of the song "I Need A Hero" to a certain character's arrival. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A2vHjZ9yxQQ
