Nat, you're definitely spoiling us this week 💛 I've said it before, but Nat you are so perceptive when it comes to the plots. You must have been a Star wars script writer in another life 😊 This is a good, tight episode with some good action and no filler. Does everything it needs to do to get you to the next episode. Director Robert Rodriguez was brought in at the last moment, as the original director left the show. The script for this episode was only 19 pages, so a lot of the action was added on set, and pretty damn good it is too. Can't wait to watch your reactions for the final 2 episodes. Thanks Nat.

Jedi Mandalore (Dylan)

So just so you know the actor who plays Boba Fett is the same actor who played his Father Jango in Episode 2 Attack of the Clones along with all the Clones in Episodes 2 and 3. He pretty much became the voice of Boba, Clones, and Jango in all Star Wars media mostly in Video Games while in the original trilogy he was dubbed as Boba Fett in the later editions. The chain code also references a EU comic book about Jango fett being a foundling and fighting in the Mandalorian Civil Wars which happened before and around Episode 1 pretty much making these elements canon again.

Gath Bard

Not gonna lie, I really hope you binge watched the rest.

Matthew Periolat

I’m so delighted with this, I have no words. Long story short - Temura Morrison played Jango Fett in Attack of the Clones. His voice was dubbed over the clones for Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith and over the live actor playing Boba Fett (the late Jeremy Bullock) for Empire Strikes Back for continuity sake. Now he’s back playing Boba Fett again, this time physically. Yeah, urge to binge the rest is strong, but... I’ve held off this long. Aside from one cameo spoiler, I’m clean. With you to the end on this one. And I can’t wait.

JediLounger

Boba Fett has been my favorite Star Wars character since before I can remember. This episode was like wish fulfillment of 5 year old me.

When you run out of Mandalorian and need to pick a new series, I would suggest Westworld (some violence and nudity), The Boys (plenty of violence and some nudity), or Supernatural (fair amount of violence) just keeping in mind that there's over 300 episodes of it to go through. Still hoping you react to Equilibrium - you'll see a man shoot the same way the assassin droid did in Mandalorian.

swoop_13-37

And the original actor who played boba in the ot just recently passed away.

swoop_13-37

No spoilers. On chapter 16 there is a end credits scene.

Joe Blankenship

Yes, we all want the best for Grogu. We’ll have to wait and see if he gets the best. These next 2 episodes are so good. Can’t wait to watch them with you.

Randee Carreno

Absolutely loved this reaction! 😊 Temuera Morrison who plays Boba Fett in this series previously portrayed his father Jango in "Episode 2: Attack of the Clones" and then the clone troopers in "Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith". And Boba Fett was played by the late Jeremy Bullock in "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi". I really do recommend you finish watching the last two episodes. Especially if you really can't wait to see what happens. But do remember, there is an end credit scene at the end of episode 8(Chapter 16). I do still very highly recommend you possibly watching the series "Once Upon a Time" next. Such a great modern take on fairy tales. Plus, there's some great guest star cameos that you might recognize. Until the next video, This Is The Way & Stay Golden! 💛

Natalie: *to screen* "Mando, your jetpack!" Me: *to screen* "He can't hear you!" *suddenly feels hypocritical*

Regarding new series: I'd love to see your reaction to The Good Place. Edit to add: Though if you haven't already seen it, I imagine it may have already been spoiled for you.

Thomas Yanez

BTW, where you showed some confusion about how Boba Fett and Fennec were backing up Mando, back when Mando and Boba first faced off, Boba offered the deal that for the return of the armor, he'd help Mando take care of the kid situation. Then all Hell broke loose. But, he was just keeping up his side of the deal by aligning with Mando, even after the kid had been taken.

Kathy Ice

For a new series, I would suggest Agent Carter. It's nice and short--two seasons with a handful of episodes each--and it ties in with the MCU.

Ken

New sereis suggestions: the vampire mockumentary What We Do in the Shadows and dramedy Atlanta, with Donald Glover (Childish Gambino). It's one of the best tv shows I've ever seen. It's got beautiful cinematography, social observations, complex, believable characters. It always takes you in unexpected directions. It can be hilarious, tragic, terrifying, surreal, all in an episode. 2 seasons so far. Half hour episodes.

My suggestions for a series would be "Farscape" or "Babylon 5" for some fun different sci fi

Anonymous

Hannibal and Queens Gambit on Netflix. The Grest on Hulu. Jack Ryan on Amazon Prime.

Kevin Mowery

For new series, I don't want to suggest anything that ran too long, since eventually you're going to catch up on the MCU and there's going to be a bunch of short series there. But of stuff that's readily available: Farscape: sci-fi with some comedy and a ton of muppets. Babylon 5: huge epic sci-fi that just got digitally remastered Watchmen: If you don't read the graphic novel first, I'd say watch the movie (which has some good performances) and then read a wiki about how the graphic novel is different (the villain's plot is very different even if the ending is kind of the same). The show is amazing and only one short season. Stranger Things: If you haven't already seen it. Buffy the Vampire Slayer: You've watched Firefly and the first Avengers, but this is the show that first made a bunch of us nerds notice Joss Whedon.

This_Jedi_crafts

I totally forgot about Farscape! I was obsessed when it first aired. So many cool characters in a cool universe. Great suggestion.

This_Jedi_crafts

More fun "Nat quotes!" - - - "I don't want it - I don't WANT IT!" ...and "This is cutest sh*t I've ever seen" (while Mando plays catch with Grogu!" Loving it! So excited to watch her reactions for the final two episodes of season two!

Can we get a reality based series at least until after you're current on MCU? Cobra Kai is 3 seasons of 10x sub 30 minute episodes available on Netflix. So as far as watch time it's pretty short and would be fairly simple to crank out. You'd want to see Karate Kid 1 first, though. Karate Kid 1 Trailer = https://youtu.be/xlnm0NtPoVs Cobra Kai Teaser = https://youtu.be/xLtYmhj-0Kg The other show that's still running I'd love to see is Paramount network's Yellowstone with Kevin Costner. It's three seasons of ten episodes each. Hour long drama. Teaser = https://youtu.be/opYyuupyWmA An incredibly interesting show that's Australian based but available on FXX is "Mr. Inbetween" it's ridiculously good dark comedy and not many people know about it and would show your Aussie fans that you care =) (I'm Texan, not an Aussie, just saying.) Trailer = https://youtu.be/FEFd9MNnMLc There's also an incredible limited series show out of Australia called Upright. It's a Tim Minchin absolute masterpiece. Either sub 30 minute episodes. Basically a long movie. Joss Whedon says it's the best show since "Fleabag". Trailer = https://youtu.be/pZIo24aTH28 Pipe dream show I know you won't do but is actually my #1 is Timothy Olyphant's Justified. Six seasons, 13 episodes each. Yeah, I know, asking a lot =( Trailer https://youtu.be/9TWkCL3GwOA

I have been waiting and watching the episodes for the first time when I watch your reaction.... but I am so tempted right now to go ahead and binge the rest of the season right now and not wait

What We Do in the Shadows is hilarious, and the movie that got the show green lit, too. Maybe for Natmares?

Ron

The worst part for Mando when they destroyed his ship is that he left his wallet on-board. Hopefully, he can find some shower rings because I don't think the New Republic (New Empire?) takes Diner's Club.

Chaz Mannington

I’d like to suggest The Good Place. As a complete series goes, it is short, which will let you experience other shows relatively quickly. As for the pitch, it is the funniest, sweetest show you’ll ever see with the best series finale in television. I guarantee you’ll love it.

Anonymous

I think he’s good actually. I heard there are a bunch of rings that the hobbits are trying to get rid of. Hmm, I don’t know if that would be an estate sale or a garage sale. Oh, just go to CraigsList and put in "Sam garage sale" Sam isn’t very pretentious. I really couldn’t see him having an estate sale, especially with all those kids running around.

I nominate Avatar The Last Airbender as the next show.

RebRox65

So you said you didn’t mind us filling you in on the back story of some of the characters that you’ve encountered so far in The Mandalorian. Bo-Katan current regent and rightfully ruler of mandalore currently trying to find the dark sabre which Lord Gideon has, this will re-unite all Mandalorians again as one oorder. Ashoka Tano, very power ex-Jedi trained as Anakin Skywalkers Palawan, fault in the clone wars as a general and has battled many times with Darth Mual and sith inquisitors she has ninja like moves and not to be taken lightly. She left the Jedi order because like her master she didn’t believe in the jedi order of getting-things done. AGSOKA WILL BE GETTING HER OWN TV SHOW An interesting fact actress Katee Sackhoff has always done the voice of Bo-Katan and is one of the only people to have been given the role in both anime’s and live action on any series. Anyway hope you didn’t mind this little update and help your enjoyment on things to come.

Robert Carroll

It's 7 seasons, but I still want to see Nat watch Buffy. That rollercoaster is one worth riding, and I think Nat would immediately appreciate it having seen Firefly.

The Golgothan

I'd recommend the first few seasons of Arrow or the Flash. The MCU may have dominated the box office the past decade or so but until recently DC had way better TV shows.

Anonymous

Oh, I can’t wait till I see your reaction video to the next episode. It is a doozy!

Jayson Phillips

Btw the actress playing Fennic is like 57 yo ...go girl!

Dooly

Fun episode but the writing makes absolutely no sense

Jordan Freemyer

I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone suggest watching WandaVision, though you'd probably want to get farther into the MCU before that one. Love the reaction as usual!

Thundarr100

In addition, Boba Fett was a bounty hunter, and Fennec was an assassin. While not necessarily the most noble of professions in the Star Wars Universe (especially the latter) they require a certain level of trust worthiness. If one in those professions does not keep his/her word, they soon acquire a reputation for doing so and as such end up losing out on much work. And in such professions, reputation is EVERYTHING. After all, who would want to hire a bounty hunter or an assassin who is known for NOT upholding their end of a contract?

Thundarr100

For your next TV series I would love to see you react to Cobra Kai. You'll probably want to watch/react to the Karate Kid movies first so that you'll get some of the references and Easter Eggs, but it's a pretty short series with only 10 episodes per season and 30 minutes per episode. And all three seasons are on Netflix right now. Besides, Karate Kid lost to James Bond in your last poll by SUCH a SMALL margin that it only seems fitting to do a reaction to it second after Casino Royale.

Good stuff Nat

RebRox65

So you won’t be seeing no more of Gina Carano she’s been officially fired from all things Lucas Films and MCU and her agent has just dropped her, such a shame she was destined to feature in so many shows on Disney. Lesson here is if you’re in the public domain keep your opinions off line.
