Help me decide which series I should check out after I finish The Mandalorian!! This was a really tough poll to make as there have been so many incredible suggestions for different series. For this one, I wanted to list shows that I'm particularly curious about that aren't mainly set in space as the only series I've done so far have been The Mandalorian and Firefly.

Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely keeping all the space show suggestions on my list still. There are definitely some great ones (like Star Trek and The Expanse). I just want to watch something a little different for the next series.

Also want to mention that I am definitely planning on increasing the amount of content I'm putting out soon, as all these series are much longer than anything we've done here before. My aim is to do 2-3 episodes a week for these shows on Patreon and likely do condensed videos on YouTube reacting to more than 1 episode in a video. You guys have been so awesome and patient and now that I've finally found some editors to help me out, I'm so stoked to give you more content! Yay!!

Let me know your thoughts in the comments below and until the next one, ✨stay golden!✨

No avatar the Last Airbender this time? Shame.. It's the best TV I have ever watched

Tay Schumaker

Love all these shows. Just know going in the Buffy is a little rough in season 1. And I feel like you’re opening yourself up to Angel when it spins off to get the full picture. It’s a big, but amazing, commitment. That being said I voted Lost cause watching people experience it for the first time is always amazing

The Fool

PLEASE Buffy.

G. T. Blackwell

I know Buffy is currently leading but perhaps spending some time away from the Whedon-verse would be a good idea right now. The Firefly reactions were great, but let's do something new. So I vote Westworld.

Elisa H.

If u are open to more options as well "the good place" if u like comedies and they are half hour episodes and short seasons so u would get through it faster

Matthew Periolat

If you asked this question a week ago, Buffy. Now? Lost.

Anonymous

I'd say Buffy is definitely the most satisfying, and the most fun. I'd just maybe think about the timing, with everything that has come out about Joss Whedon and his treatment of people recently.

Anonymous

I was thinking maybe if wanted something Whedonesque but only marginally longer than Firefly, you could try Dollhouse...

Anonymous

Buffy is a classic and should definitely be watched

VProductions

You should consider Vikings for one of these polls in the future!

Anonymous

I’d go for GOT or WESTWORLD. GOT is really heavy though... so I think WESTWORLD could be fun.

Anonymous

Hmmmmm, all of these are quite long...

Ken “Chaos” McKee

Gotta go with Buffy, I have all 7 seasons of it and all 5 of Angel and I’d love to see your reactions to them. 😊

Matthew Shaver

I love Last Airbender too. And Westworld is one of the best shows ever. But I am sure Nat will love Buffy and I look forward to her reactions.

Robert Carroll

Buffy! Not everyone who worked on the show was a creep. It still deserves to be celebrated. Natalie would adore it!

john collins

i'm about to start making alternate accounts so i can vote GOT to the top! C'mon guys Nat would have some amazing reactions to the awesomeness of that show!

Darryl Low

Nattie G - Patience is a virtue. Everybody knows the hard work and dedication you put into your videos and into your channels. No matter how long it takes, we'll always be here, waiting appreciatively.

Camaro English

Westworld would be SO FUN for the shock factor and seeing ur theories please!!! 😫

Kraps

Haven't seen any reactions to Buffy so that would be cool

Danishprince

Personally I hope Buffy doesn't win the poll. It just feels too long for a reaction series. It's 144 episodes long so even with 3 episodes a week that's 48 weeks of only Buffy for TV reactions :)

Camaro English

Westworld I feel like would also go by faster than Buffy or GoT so then she could move on to other shows after!

Anonymous

Westworld would probably be the easiest because there's not as many seasons.

Barry

Babylon 5

Andy Crawley

I would normally suggest Buffy, but I think it takes a huge dip in quality from around season 4. Lost kind of spreads itself a bit thin in season 2, opens up a few too many storylines, but it never stops being intriguing, and picks back up at the end of season 2. Westworld is great, but there’s only been 3 seasons so it’ll be over quickly. GoT is great until the last two seasons. I would’ve also suggested Fringe, 5 seasons so not too long, has a satisfying ending, and is just a great series to watch, funny, sad, makes you care and get invested in the characters lives and what happens to them.

David Blake

FRINGE. Absolutely amazing. The best TV series I ever seen.

Ronny Boss

This was a hard one for me, I'm a fan of all these shows. Had to go with West World and GOT on this one

VidKris

Merlin 🧙🏻‍♂️🗡is a ground level🏞 series Lol 😂

Krieger

I think all of these shows will just go on too long, maybe you should commit to only a season or so and then return to it later? I voted Game of Thrones but only for a season

Anonymous

I voted GoT, but with the warning that you shouldn't get too attached, since it dives off of a cliff into a volcano at the end

Anonymous

Buffy is going to be a long haul. I picked it because it’s my favorite. But it’s 144 episodes. It will take at least 2 years if you do one a week Game of Thrones has a lot less. West World too. If you do watch Buffy do NOT watch the movie. It is unrelated.

Dale Josephson

If you want something comedy-ish, eventually think about Chuck. Another die-hard fan driven show (Like Firefly} that forced the networks to rethink a too soon cancelation after we all protested and gave such good support through Subway, who became a major sponsor and helped get another season+ And.... You get to see 'Jayne' again. BTW, I voted Westworld!

David Crabtree

Of that list.. definitely Buffy!

Danishprince

I mean so does Buffy and Lost. Most shows that last for 5+ seasons usually takes a huge dip in quality

Getoff Mylawn

The Expanse should be on this list. Buffy is right up your alley though.

Edward Olson

I would suggest you consider the value for the time spent. I wouldn't suggest any series with over 100 episodes. Perhaps you could do a trial of each series -- watch the pilot plus an episode of each and see if something catches your eye. Because if you don't like a show, what good would it be to force you to watch it for months?

Anonymous

Buffy starts out rough, but by the middle of Season 2, it kicks up significantly and the Season 2 finale is amazing. Since it pioneered so much of the Vampire and love myths we see in so many other things, it may seem derivative rather than influential.

Anonymous

Wonder Woman sleeps sound every night, because she knows Buffy is out there.

David of the North

I'm going to throw a write-in vote too for Fringe. Only 4 full length seasons and a shortened 5th. But since I am literally watching the first ep of Buffy for the first time now. I vote that. But you will definitely need multiple eps a week! Ever thought of The Witcher, too?

Anonymous

Are you thinking just Buffy or Buffy / Angel concurrently? Because they did a lot crossover work between them.

Anonymous

As long as LOST loses I'm good

Danishprince

I really like this idea because a Buffy reaction would be 48 weeks even with 3 episode a week so commiting to such a long series based on the poll alone migh not be the best idea

LudicDave

Lost is a disaster that keeps getting bigger the longer you watch it. Buffy is great and was extremely underrated until everyone watched Firefly and realized that Joss Whedon is actually good. But you should be aware that there's a lot of crossover with Angel from season 4 onwards. There's a billion channels reacting to GoT so that seems really unnecessary.

Ryu Kobushi

Angel... not Buffy

Robert Reichle

My wife was watching Buffy when she was home with no job because we moved to a new city right after grad school, and I thought it sounded so dumb. She was already up to about season 4 or 5 and finally got me to watch the first few episodes of season one with her. I had no idea it could be so good with such a dumb sounding title. I've now watched the entire series three times through and I'd totally watch it a fourth time here with Nat's reactions. Lesson learned by me not to pre judge a show based on its name.

Alan Kobb

I'm not crazy about any of these. Maybe you'll make better sense of Westworld than I did. Buffy is a very long slog through almost 150 episodes, so it'll take you a long time, but if you want, I think it's a good choice. Game of Thrones is one of my favorite shows of all time, but frankly, I don't know if you noticed, but hundreds of YouTubers have already reacted to it. It's really the show that inspired the whole concept of the YouTube TV reaction video. Once again, I think it's great and you should watch it, but I'd hate for you to become just another member of the crowd, Natalie. I can't say much about Lost since I never saw it, so maybe that's a great reason to vote that way. OK. Done!

Anonymous

I’d like to write in The Haunting of Hill House. It’s an amazing series from a technical and writing perspective, and it’s only one 10 episode season, so it won’t be a big commitment and you can move on to another series right after. Good for video diversity

Matthew Shaver

For me the rewatchability (new word!) of GoT is much less than Buffy. For GoT I would probably just watch the YouTube reactions rather than the full ones. I have already watched Buffy 3 times and ready to go again.

Cactus Tony

Ooof these choices are rough. All of them are shows that went on too long and got worse over time.

Matthew Periolat

Forgot to mention this earlier, but for future polls, down on hands and knees begging for Once Upon a Time. Just a huge fan of the show and I sense it’ll check a lot of boxes for you.

Christian Rennie

My pick would be “Fringe.” It’s a show that most people didn’t watch and would be great see a reaction. But for space stuff would say Babylon 5 now that it has been HD upgraded on HBO Max.

Joe Blankenship

Aww, I was hoping Deadwood could have made the poll. It's 3 short seasons and a movie. But GoT is great too.

Anonymous

Just want to voice that I think Lost is amazing throughout. The only slow part is in the beginning of season 3. Everything else is amazing. All of these choices are good, I'd be interested in the first 5-6 seasons of GoT. Fellow Lost fans, glad to see you exist

Anonymous

I chose GoT, but I really wish Agents of Shield was on the list. It's really fun to watch alongside the marvel movies. And it's a show that just gets better as it goes on.

David of the North

Fringe is the better version of X-Files. Much more consistent and with a better underlying story.

Calculatus Eliminatus

Agents of Shield would have been my vote. Westworld instead.

Michael Bergeron

My vote is LOST, not a fan of Buffy but I’d watch along with any of these.

Anonymous

Like I said before, I don't really like GoT that much, the books are much better but you can't really react to books, can you? And well it does have a lot of twists and deaths and other shocking and surprising things

matthew h

For future consideration, I'd suggest Justified. Its a great series that I don't see mentioned much lately.

Nathan Churchill

Hannibal? Not a fan of any of these, but I'm sure lots of people here are.

Alexa Chipman

As much as I love Game of Thrones...Buffy is my vote

Cole Jennett

Lost Season 1 is awesome and I would love to see your reaction, but it really goes downhill when the network forced them to stretch it out. I liked Westworld Season 1, but found it a chore to watch the last 2. Buffy would take up too much time I think (though I did like it a lot), so GOT is the only option left. At least it would be good for recognizing meme’s, lol. My dream show for you would be Downton Abbey. Only around 8-9 shows a season.

Anonymous

Attack on Titan =D

Brandon Scott

If you want to look at it from a purely professional/business viewpoint. You won’t find a show out there with a more dedicated, rabid fan base than Buffy. Doing a Buffy series is equivalent to a music reaction channel starting a series on Eminem. There are many opinions out there about his but anything with his name in the title is guaranteed to explode your view counter. Buffy is the same way. Out of the shows you listed, Buffy is the only with with a strong rewatch value. I see so many votes for GoT but isn’t that the show that supposedly has the worst series finale of all time? Just my thoughts.

Nerd Going Outside

Honestly I wouldn't recommend any of these to a friend. They all disappoint in their own way. That said, if you're committed to one of these, it should be Buffy or thrones. Either of them will do good numbers for you. Buffy is a niche. The people who like it really like it, and everyone else has no interest. Very cult, but it's a pretty big cult. In my opinion the quality of the show isn't that high, but then I'm not in the cult. :) The first four seasons of thrones are amazing TV, the next three go downhill steadily, and the final season is such a travesty that the show has become quite controversial. There's a lot there that is worth your time and the show had a huge fan base so it will do good numbers. Again, if you are my friend I would steer you away from any of these.

Andy Crawley

Ignore any of the Lost haters, they either didn’t stick with it all the way through or just didn’t understand what it was. The “they were in purgatory the whole time” theory is flat out wrong.

Anonymous

I love Buffy, but man there is a ton of eps. And as much as I do truly love it, there are some cringy ones. GOT is great until the last season that season is just terrible. Lost was great only in season one. So I'm going with Westworld. Really I would have said WandaVision but you need to see a bunch more Marvel movies before it will makes sense. Shield might have the same problem, not to give spoilers but there are eps that will only be sensible when you get past certain Marvel movies. My opinions of course... :)

Andy Crawley

Also another write in vote for The Wire, aka the show that was better than The Sopranos!

Anonymous

I've never actually watched Buffy (except for the movie) and it comes highly recommended by others of Geekdom. GoT? I watched one episode and found it too rapey. So I quit it.

Anonymous

Doctor Who (2005) is a recommendation for future watching.

Niklas

I would say GoT, even if it is with conflicted feelings.

Anonymous

I would say GoT. I would love to see a breaking bad reaction too

Cifer

Westworld almost requires studying each episode to keep track of what's going on, very easy to lose track of who's doing what lol.

Anonymous

Since my real choice of Fringe isn't on there I went with Lost.

Donald Mellen

I was torn between Buffy and GoT, ended up voting for Buffy. Would have loved to see an option for Lucifer (one of my all-time favorite shows).

Paul Thomas-Humphreys

I feel that I must go with Buffy. Simply because it’s the best tv series ever made.

Anonymous

I know a break from MCU might be needed, but I would've voted for Agent Carter, since now you know more about SHIELD and HYDRA.

Tranquil_Gnome

All are good picks. The Expance would be good too but when you are ready for another sci fi show. The Magicians could be good but the first season has some intense moments.

Joel

The Watchmen is the only answer. GOT is trash

swoop_13-37

I'd say GoT as long as you skip season 8.

Anonymous

Some folks are going to say how GoT started strong and ended poorly; IMO it started poorly and ended worse, lavishing all of its attention on spectacular production , and none on coherent plotting or compelling characterization. I watched reluctantly because my wife insisted on watching the whole painful thing and because I optimistically kept thinking "well, it's got be good occasionally", but skipped lots of episodes (sorry honey, gotta work!) and even a whole season, and wish I'd skipped them all. Natalie, I'm a big fan of all the stuff you post, but if GoT wins the poll, I guess I'll get a chance to watch someone else's reaction videos for a while, because I've already wasted as much time on that show as I ever will. I'd vote for Buffy or Lost; we finished rewatching the former with our son last year, and it really held up, and we're rewatching Lost right now. Both shows have lots of haters for their later seasons, IMO without any basis. I'll also write in two that I'm sure wouldn't win any polls, but I think they're great, overlooked series, both which stick the landing in their final seasons: the wonderful Justified (starring The Marshall, Timothy Olyphant) and Person of Interest, which starts out looking like a straight-forward crime-fighting adventure, turns into a riveting personal and political thriller, and eventually portrays a War of Gods better than any fantasy show ever did.

Anastasia Bartocha

I became a patron just so I could vote Buffy

Byron

Oh goodness! The problem with GoT is that it all is building towards something and then the show outpaced the author and the last season is a dumpster fire. That and it is just brutal. Not quite The Walking Dead brutal but close. I’d be afraid you’d find it consistently upsetting (or worse, grow desensitized). I’d suggest Westworld mainly because it is relatively short and each season has a reasonably self-sufficient arc. But all of these (including GoT before the final season) are good shows.

Eric Janssen

Why not do the series that INVENTED binge-addict serial season arcs: Twin Peaks, Season 1? (Er, don't bother so much about 2, unless you're hoping to build up backstory for the Showtime Season 3.)

Anonymous

Game of Thrones. Nothing else even comes close. And there was nothing wrong with the final season. People just didn't understand it.

This_Jedi_crafts

I think Buffy might be a good pic for Nat as she seems to love shows where there is a sort of "core" of people, sticking together, to "fight the good fight," mixed with plenty of humor/ comic relief (along with great special effect technology, scoring and cinematography). I believe Glen Hetrick (Spelling) - one of the judges of SyFy's FACE OFF (special effect make-up application reality show) pioneered the facial prosthetics on Buffy.

Matt O'Keefe

The Boys after done with this list maybe.

Emptysea93

I personally think you will hate Game of Thrones, it has a casual attitude towards sexual assault and murder in a way that I think will make you very uncomfortable. I reccomend Buffy, not only because it is another whedon show and you loved Firefly, but also because it's feminist themes and overall campiness i think will appeal to you more. I think you should try Buffy even if GoT wins, just because I think you will like it more, and to me that is what is more important than which show wins the poll.

It Hurt A Lot

C'mon man. This is a dangerous comment to someone who hasn't seen any of the show

Troy B.

My vote is for Buffy. GoT and Westworld I'd have to subscribe to HBO, and I already gave GoT too much of my time and money already. GoT is good to watch once, but I don't think I can watch it again, knowing everything I know. Edit: Also, based on your reactions to everything you've watched so far, I think all of these except Buffy would aggravate you on some level, and it will be VERY hard for people to not spoil things in comments. Also, while I would never sit down and rewatch LOST on my own, it's been long enough that I'd be willing to see someone else's reaction to it, perhaps. At least the condensed YouTube versions. (I probably wouldn't used up my Comcast data cap for full reacts.) I think whatever show wins the poll you should give a try, but if you have issues with it, then feel free to not finish the series.

Anonymous

I know it’s annoying when somebody comes along and asks for something that isn’t one of the choices. It’s akin to ordering off menu at a restaurant. But here’s me, being annoying. Try Freaks & Geeks. It’s relatively short (18 episodes), absolutely beloved by those who have seen it, but still relatively unseen by most people, and was just recently released on Hulu, so it’s fairly easy to find. Plus, I don’t think there are many, if any episode reactions on YouTube, so you would be bringing some unique content to your channel. It’s a murderer’s row of actors before they were stars: not just the main cast, like Rogan, Phillips, and Segel, but in recurring parts, too, like Lizzy Caplan and Ben Foster. It will lift you up and break your heart a dozen times over throughout the season.

WackySwacky

Game of Thrones, Lost, and Westworld all start really strong, but their later seasons drop the ball hard. Buffy is great the whole way through, so I vote for Buffy.

Troy B.

Since she just saw The Winter Soldier, now would the perfect time to start Agents of Shield, since that's more or less when the show started.

Troy B.

Yeah, probably not the best thing to talk through. (There have been a few moments in shows and movies were I think Natalie talked right past a key bit of dialogue and I wanted to say "Rewind!" But she couldn't hear me...)

Alan Kobb

Lots of movies have a casual attitude torward sexual assault or violence. It's how you know the good guys from the bad guys. You're telling this to someone who just got done watching Casino Royale.

Cole Jennett

I would definitely support Agent Carter over Agents of Shield. At least the MCU recognizes Agent Carter as cannon

WackySwacky

Oh and if I could put up a different show for consideration: TWIN PEAKS. It's only 2 seasons long and it's like the best television show ever so that helps.

Anonymous

Game of Thrones essentially started the YouTube reaction craze, so there is (or at least was) a huge built-in audience for GoT reactions. It probably makes the most sense to do from a business perspective. It was also widely regarded as the best show on TV for much of its 8-season run. On the other hand, it's an 8-season run, so it's quite a commitment. At your current pace, GoT is what you'd be doing for the next two years at least.

Chief

I still think Person of Interest would have been an awesome choice

Brad Bunch

Given the choices, I gotta say Buffy, but that's 144 episodes! I agree with another person who suggested Twin Peaks. Season 1 is 7 episodes, I believe Season 2 is 22(?). Plus a movie and then the Showtime season, which is...miraculous (18 episodes).

Brent Fugett

I would suggest Lost if you're willing stop after about season 4 and make up your own ending. Lol.

Vincent Valentin

I voted for Buffy but I think the best choice is The Good Place. Only 4 seasons, is practically perfect all the way through. Is funny sad meaningful and heart warming which are all things I think people actually need in a pandemic.

Anonymous

Write in vote: Doom Patrol. It's shorter, only 2 seasons so far. And nothing beats it for those interpersonal connections and fleshed out relationships you love. Also, it's extremely weird and hilarious. And Alan Tudyk plays the villain of season 1.

Arki Kali

It's a series that just started, but I'm really loving Resident Alien on Syfy. Alan Tudyk is the star!

Anonymous

Sad to see Lost is coming in last place, because honestly I think you’d like it the most of those options! The ending has become kind of popular to hate, but since you love shows that are about an ensemble of complex characters coming together, I think you would actually end up loving it. The show has a lot of mysteries to solve, and contrary to what a lot of people will tell you, it does answer almost everything by the end. But really the show is about the characters and their relationships with each other, and if you watch it primarily for that (rather than the lore, which I personally still feel is great), the ending is one of the most moving finales you’ll ever see. Buffy is definitely another fantastic option which I’d also recommend! In terms of satisfying character development by the end of the last season, Game of Thrones is probably going to be a bit of a disappointment. But the first few seasons really are great, so it may be worth watching regardless! Also agree with some of the comments here that you would absolutely LOVE Fringe, so if it’s not already on there, that’s a great one to add to your list. I’ll definitely enjoy watching you react to any of these; just wanted to throw in a bit of Lost support since it gets a bad rap.

Anonymous

I’m a huge fan of all the shows on this list, but of the four I think Westworld is the best fit for you, Natalie. Game of thrones starts at a 10, but doesn’t maintain that quality to say the least. Lost is divisive, but as much as I’m an apologist for Lost’s ending, it’s a LONG road there. I’m going to agree with Vincent and say the best show for Natalie is The Good Place. Super up your alley. Twists, mysteries, and an amazing message with a cast unmatched outside of Firefly. Seriously Nat, do Good Place.

Ian Forbes

I didn’t vote as I wouldn’t be interested in rewatching any of those series (though I did like GoT and Buffy). I guess I’ll just keep looking forward to other items like continuing the MCU and other films. The only TV recommendation would be Band of Brothers.

Ortizmo2000

I don’t see how breaking bad could Ihave possibly not made it on your list but if I have to make a choice, GOT it is.

Scott Greene

Hi Natalie. I wouldn't devote time on your channel to “Buffy”...It's a show I definitely enjoyed when I first saw it, but now a lot of unpleasant things are coming to light about it's creator and the way he treated those who worked for him, particularly the female actors. If you make reaction videos praising episodes of the show, in effect you'll be praising him since he directed many of the key episodes and wrote quite a few more. Right now you only have one more piece of entertainment on your docket that Joss Whedon is responsible for...”Avengers: Age of Ultron”. It might be best if you left it at that. I don't know if there would end up being a backlash against you for spending months reacting to a series that was made by a sexist, abusive, horrible person, but I think you should consider the risk. Don't want to see you get a lot of hate from your viewers for any reason.

Tomas

Imo, only Westworld is worth watching completely through all episodes of those alternatives, and the best fit for your channel because it's still pretty short but very thought-provoking. GoT starts out great, but after season 5, the quality of the writing drops significantly, and the last season is just a big middle finger to fans of both the show and film in general. LOST is meh all throughout and also ends very unsatisfactory. Buffy haven't aged well (lots of cringy episodes) and is just way too long, so unless you wanna be reacting to one single series the entire rest of your reaction career, I wouldn't go for it.

8bitAndy

Sad that Sherlock wasn't on the list, but GoT has the biggest fandom by far so it's the logical choice. Wish it wasn't 73 episodes long though, seeing as I wasn't really into the show the first time around. Luckily for me, Natalie has been downright prolific with her movie reactions lately and is showing no sign of slowing down. Plenty of watchalong opportunities even if I skip the GoT reacts. :)

RebRox65

I think the perfect fit for you Natalie, would be HIS DARK MATERIALS I’m sorry to keep plugging away at this show, but just watch the trailers for Natalie and tell me I’m wrong.

Kevin Mowery

I think I suggested Buffy in the past but given everything coming out about Joss Whedon right now, maybe not. As a subtitute, I'd recommend Veronica Mars. Smart dialogue, fun characters, Kristen Bell. Added bonus: Only three seasons instead of the seven season + a five-season spinoff with Buffy, Plus a movie and then a (probably only one season) revival series if you want more.

Eric

I Voted for Lost just for the fact that it was the First tv show that blew me away and got me hooked With these complex characters you couldn’t help but fall in love with. Game of Thrones is also an amazing Choice that has these twist interns that keep you guessing to the end.

Anonymous

The Haunting of Bly Manor is good for reactions, I've seen several. It's fun watching them piece everything together.

Anonymous

Agreed. Deadwood should at least make its way to the master list.

RebRox65

I’m in no way saying that Natalie wouldn’t be able to stomach GoT but going on Natalie, previous reactions when it come too violence and scary stuff it’s been traumatic for her. She has said that maybe she could watch two episodes back to back. I’m say not possible. When I first watched GoT from the second season some episodes just left me stunned trying to comprehend what I have just witnessed. I don’t think the sex stuff would fare well either. Maybe she’ll surprise us all and I’m happy to be proved wrong.

Chris Gronau

Personally, I'd love to see a reaction to Queen's Gambit. A great little show and only 7 episodes long. Of the shows above, I voted for Buffy. It's an amazingly good show (at least, it's amazingly good once you get past the first season, which was pretty bad...), but I would definitely understand if Nat doesn't choose it because it's a bit politically poisonous right now due to the allegations against Joss Whedon. If you can separate the show from the man, then it's a great choice. Otherwise, go for something else.....

The Golgothan

All of Hollywood is a cesspool of depravity. Excluding the work of perverts and deviants will leave you with nothing.

Brandon Scott

No, I agree with you. Just thinking about what happens in the first episode alone, I think Nat will regret committing to it right away. I don't know who that knows her thought this was a good idea but I honestly will probably take a break from her Patreon for a while if she starts GoT. I'm into a wide range of shows and genres but the first ep alone was just gross and I have no interest in it. Not to mention knowing how she is likely going to feel about it but then be stuck watching the whole thing. I just don't think I'm going to stick around for it. I'll pop back in once in a while and watch for when she moves on or finds something else I can enjoy watching her enjoy.

The Golgothan

Not a fan of any of those so I'm gunna write in the first few seasons of Arrow or Flash

Anonymous

Yep. If not committed to the series, she should at least watch "Blink" for Natmare '21. Watching standalone episodes like "Blink", "The Girl in the Fireplace", and the "Silence in the Library" 2-parter would certainly get some new eyes on her channel.

Brandon Scott

I think Nat should take the top two choices and open up another pole. Drop the third and fourth place choices off the list and give everyone a chance to vote again. I really, really don't think she's going to enjoy GoT and while watching her sit through a film or maybe an episode or two that makes her cringe might be fun going through several seasons of that will just be painful (for both her and us, I think).

Max du Coudray

Maybe Nat should do a 4-part series where she watches the first episode of each before committing to any of them.

Camaro English

I really do think she would appreciate the story and character arcs from Westworld the most here tho. And conveniently be the quickest series to get through on the channel. Please just knock her out!!

Anonymous

"Freaks and Geeks" is on the list of series that she's seen. That said, "My So-Called Life" aired at about the same time, had about the same number of episodes, and is one of the greatest tv series of all times (says me).

Anonymous

If you are going to watch GOT (which I loved the early seasons of), I highly HIGHLY recommend stopping after season 4. I think the first four seasons are great and if you're the sort of person to get really into characters and relationships and backstories, I haven't found an equal to the beginning of this show. However starting with season 5 is where the quality really begins to deteriorate imo.

Anonymous

I love game of thrones...but 8 seasons of it is rough. Even if it's only 10 ep per season. Don't commit to the whole series, maybe do the first season. Maybe record a react and then decide after if you really want to do it, it can be rough. I think walking dead is worse in terms of horror and awful humans, game of thrones has some awful moments that are hard to watch, but the writing is suburb the first 5 seasons. Someone mentioned Sherlock, that would be good. The Battlestar Galactica mini series would also be really good. Maybe find a list of the 10-20 best star trek the next generation episodes, that would be great to contrast with some of the other stuff you have seen. It's thoughtful and hopeful at its core.

Ron

From that list, I have no dog in that hunt, so, I'll do some write-in suggestions that are not space-related. Not on the spreadsheet * The Queen's Gambit (Netflix, 1 season, 7 eps) ← Highly Recommended. From your spreadsheet * Ozark (Netflix, 3 seasons, 30 eps; 4th and final coming eventually) ← Tonally, similar to Breaking Bad. Recommended. * Mr. Robot (Amazon Prime, 4 seasons, 45 eps) ← Fantastic writing, acting, and direction. Recommended. * Twin Peaks (Netflix, 3 seasons, 48 eps, plus 1 theatrical movie between seasons 2 and 3: Fire Walk with Me) * Fringe (Amazon Prime, 5 seasons, 100 eps) ← A slow burn but still a worthwhile journey. Mind Altering → For when you're bored, and you think you've seen it all) * The OA (Netflix, 2 seasons, 16 eps) * Devs (Hulu, 1 season, 8 eps)

Anonymous

tough one. I voted for Westworld only because it is a smaller investment. Buffy is a sizable investment. GOT is a huge investment only to be disappointed in the end. IMO. I do like the Queens Gambit that someone else mentioned. Chuck would be a good one as well.

Shadowcat

But how do you stop right in the middle of everything?? There would be so many questions unanswered. That's like stopping a movie at the halfway mark. I wouldn't be able to do it. I didn't do it. I stuck around until the bitter end. I'm also currently in the middle of a rewatch with another reactor, which is why I voted for Buffy. I also don't think GoT is really up Nat's alley. My second choice would have been Lost, mostly because I haven't watched Westworld yet, so I don't know enough to vote for it. But it looks like GoT is going to win. I'm thinking I'll probably stick with the YouTube edits since I doubt I'm going to want to watch GoT fully a third time, especially since it looks like I'd be watching two reactors at different points of the show at the same time.

RebRox65

we’re all finally realising that the shorter the episode run the more likely to be chosen, it’s better for the channel and better for Natalie (don’t forget that old shows have much longer episode count 22/26) I’d love Nat, to do something like Babylon5 which has just had a digital facelift, but it’s not gonna happen.

Rune

I had hoped Battlestar Galactica (2004) or the Expanse would be on the list, but I am patient ;)

RebRox65

Also guys there’s a whole load of MCU & STAR WARS TV shows on the horizon that she may be interested in.

James

Game of thrones is sixty episodes. so at one episode a week.... whew...

Anonymous

You should add an option for "None of these" and keep doing polls until something beats that option. I'm a none of these voter this time around. Would have voted for Cobra Kai, Witcher, Justified, Mentalist, Yellowstone, Expanse, Stranger Things... quite a few actually. You keep classifying "The Expanse" as a sci-fi space show, and it is, but not the same way Star Wars or Star Trek, or even Alien are "space shows".

Anonymous

the shorter series if i have to pick one of those (i'd prefer a different than posted). I will still support whatever you do

AC5555

I am shocked Lost isn't getting more votes.

Tomas

Queen's Gambit is a great choice! Thoroughly enjoyed binging it.

Nicotti

Babylon 5, when you get back to space series.

Baron

So confused how is she "halfway" thru a series that only has one more episode left. Also not excited for any of these so not gonna vote. So confusing about the description because she says happy Valentines day, so why is she only half way thru, might make sense if she meant to share this earlier and changed her mind about when she asked us.

Thundarr100

My vote is for Buffy The Vampire Slayer. While I really enjoyed Game Of Thrones, it's got some pretty heavy subject matter which Nat might find to be a bit much. Buffy is definitely her taste, as it has equal parts action, drama, comedy, and even a little bit of horror now and then (it is a show about fighting demons and monsters after all). And while it's not on the poll, I still think she should watch the Karate Kid movies followed by the Cobra Kai Netflix series. I loved The Karate Kid growing up, and I totally binged every season of Cobra Kai from day one (despite being highly skeptical during Season One . . . Because "Hollywood"). So if she does end up reacting to GoT, Nat should definitely mix it up with something lighter as a palate cleanser. Because that much . . . let's call it brutality . . . can be very upsetting to some people.

Jeremy Vickers

Oh please don’t let it be Game of Thrones! You would love Lost.

Anonymous

Chuck would be a great one actually. Light and had a lot of heart and humor.

Anonymous

Witcher!!! That would be a great one. Only one season, low investment, and not space

Anonymous

She wants to do two movies and three episodes per week I believe. I think she wants a new piece of content released every day.

Tiger Chu

Should check out What We Do in The Shadows

Anonymous

Doom patrol is spectacular. I second this vote. Also low commitment. Two seasons

Navjot Singh

Putting someone through the first 6 brilliant seasons of GOT and then see them suffer for the last two is not something that I would want for anyone. lol GOT is not at all rewarding in the end.

Anonymous

westworld a million times, plus it will be easier to get through then game of thrones since theres only a couple seasons so far :)

michael denny

if you ever get tired of the fantasy or sci fi genre, or just looking for something different in general try "The Americans." In my opinion that was the best TV show airing while it was.

Anonymous

I voted Buffy, but holy crap your comments

Robert Reichle

Game of Thrones and Lost: two shows with some of the worst endings in the history of TV shows.

It Hurt A Lot

Wow, my personal win percentage on these polls is not good

James

Just dont be a slacker.... watch and edit two episodes a day from each of the four series and you will be done with all of them in no time. =)

0lis

I think that Nat prepared this Post earlier. Before she had the possibility to post more often.

Loneclaw

I just hope Game of Thrones isn't too... intense for you, Nat. >w>

mrhalfbit

As a fan of Mocumentary Style she would love this show.

Darryl Low

Shame on all you GOT voters for subjecting poor Natalie to all that nudity, sex and violence 😵 Nat, you better get stocked up on the White Claw now 😉

Calo Grsf

Don't forget the stock of tissues, they will undoubtedly be part of the game 😆

RebRox65

I have just been doing some research on watching GoT on the YouTube platform, it’s not great guys, lots of copyright strikes, I can only find two reactors, which is saying a lot. Even if Natalie manages to watch on YouTube just think of the amount of content she’ll be allowed to show. that she could actually broadcast from each episode it would only last about 10 minutes if that , I feel the way forward if this does decide to watch should be on Patron only

RebRox65

If Buffy should win this pole, can I suggest you watch the movie first as the series dose not deal with the origin very well.

Kenneth

Or The Expanse, or Orphan Black.

Andrew Dickinson

so it's going to be 18 months of getting your hopes up..then the ending?

Anonymous

I loved Game of Thrones and hated the last season.

Richard Maurer

I voted Buffy. GoT is great.......until season 8, which is trash. It ruined the series for me. If you look on You tube there are many good videos describing exactly why it is trash. And as much as I hate to say it, if GoT is chosen I won't be watching along with you. I just couldn't knowing how badly written the end is. You can literally see characters you've come love turn into idiots, character arcs be completely destroyed, and plot holes so big you could drop the state of Texas through them. You could say this is just my opinion, but over a million fans agree, That's how many fans signed a petition asking for season 8 to be remade.

Troy B.

I would consider rewatching the first six seasons, but in order to do that I'd have to pay to access the show again, and I'd rather not give them money and analytics for it.

PickettsChargingPort

Westworld is only three seasons, and only the first one is ground breaking. You may wish to intersperse that one with whatever wins

Tomas

Watching Orphan Black for the first time now (on season 3), is great! Can't believe I had never heard of it before last week or so.

Thomas Yanez

I think BtVS would be fun. The problem with Buffy is that a lot of the early show doesn't hold up very well and so it can be a slog getting through the cringe long enough to get the story and characters locked in. I've seen reactors bail early because of that, but those that push through do eventually get to enjoy the glory that is the whole series run (including the "[spoiler]" spin-off.)

Thomas Yanez

Also, if you DO watch "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", make sure to watch the movie first... can't pass up Paul Reuben's Oscar-worthy... uh, performance.

Anonymous

I can't recommend GoT only because it has such a horrible ending I refuse to recommend it ... ever. Given the choices however ... it's less disappointing than the others. I probably wont be following along with any of those, but I may drop in to watch single episodes of GoT from time to time. I am really surprised the X-Files or even better the original Twilight Zone wasn't on the list. If you are looking for something truly different the UK series Primeval had a great 5 season run (5 - 8 episodes per season) and a one season spin off in Canada called Primeval: New World that was very good as well. Hallmark even has a fantastic movie series Signed, Sealed, and Delivered that revolves around the eccentric people who work in the Dead Letter Office of the US Postal Service.

Steve J

I feel like GOT, buffy, and Lost are all multi-year commitments even if you get to one episode a week. I'd say if anything do S1 of all of these and see how they work for you, then decide if a full series watch is warranted.

Anonymous

I've got to be honest with Nat...don't do "Game of Thrones", and not because it's either a good or a bad show, but because of the way it kills its characters. Nat, you've got a direct line to your heart and when a character you love dies it really hurts. And this is a show that regularly gets you to feel investment in characters, only to suddenly and brutally kill them off. Knowing your reactions to the loss of Bucky, then Wash, I can go out on a limb and safely say you would not be okay for the majority of this show. So just don't, it's not worth the heartache. Personally, I'd enjoy you finding a more comedic show to get your teeth into, but perhaps you've already watched and are a fan of stuff like "The Office". I dunno, but what I do know if that tears will flow if you start down the GOT path. Just my two cents.

Bruce Bromley

A shame it's not ahead, but I'd recommend "Westworld". It's a short-term commitment, like the Mandalorian, for one. It's also a great story that stays with you awhile. You'd also enjoy watching and or reacting to the two 70's films it was based on, "Westworld" and "Futureworld".

Anonymous

Honestly, you should do the star wars clone wars series. Isn't star wars reaction what made your reaction channel explode in popularity to begin with? Also GOT is a bad idea. Between the aggressive copyright strikes, violence, nudity i don't know if there is gonna be much you can show on youtube. You could do the Witcher. Thats a shorter commitment time. Just throwing it out there.

Edward Olson

Maybe someone else has suggested it before, but you should definitely watch AGENT CARTER and then perhaps AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.

Anonymous

Yeah, not really feeling any of these four. Two of them had endings that people actually hate. I've never taken the time to watch them because of what I've heard. I don't want to invest in something only to have it not payoff in the end. The other two? Meh.

Anonymous

Be careful with the doing "more" content just to do more. Quantity is not necessarily quality, but otherwise, if you feel up to it, go for it.

RebRox65

Agent Carter is Definitely the next watch for Nat, we all know she love character development and for familiarity, she also showed great interest in Steve & Pegs relationship. So come on guys you agree let make it happen by my posts here

Anonymous

I vote for series that aren't several years in length!! With that in mind, I recommend Grimm.

Jon Hoover

Even doing multiple season 1s will take years. I really wish she'd do the Karate Kid movies, and then go into Cobra Kai.

Lotan

watch the clone wars series its so good, and if you want saomething non star wars Grimm that Doug suggested is really good

Richard Ryan

Just do yourself a favour and "don't" watch the last ... idk 1.5-2 mins of the last season's finale. They turn a tasteful series ending into a Massive tease for a new season, that never got made.

Richard Ryan

If you'd like to return to Nathan Fillion's work, and react to something with a very different flavour, "The Rookie" is a great one to look at. At the time of this edit, Crave has seasons 1 & 2.

Richard Ryan

"Aren't several years in length" is why I haven't recommended Castle. :)

Anonymous

I will always recommend The Expanse

Anonymous

I'm surprised that Agents of SHIELD hasn't been on a poll...it's definitely better than G.O.T.

Robert Reichle

The movie might make a reaction channel run screaming away from Buffy and never come back. That's gotta be up there with Ishtar for bad movies that should never be watched without MST3K involved.

Robert Reichle

Game of Thrones is running away with it, but... does Nat know how horrific the violence is and how graphic the sex scenes are? This is a series that revels in being rated R. Maximum R.

Anonymous

I might also recommend Black Mirror for future watching. They're all self-contained episodes but they all take place in the same "universe" at different times.

Anonymous

When you get back to space shows, you should add Cowboy Bebop to your list.

Anonymous

You can argue the GoT STARTED the reaction craze. People were reacting to stuff, but that show kicked it into overdrive. Im voting for Buffy however. I think Nat will enjoy the characters, just like she enjoyed them in Firefly.

Anonymous

I have seen all four of these shows and arguments about endings aside, they were all hit shows for a reason. They all have merit to them . Natalie, can I strongly recommend that Avatar the last Airbender be your first animated show ( maybe rate two episodes at a time and try to put two part episodes together)? I think doing two (or three) episodes and rating them at a time, is a wise decision for some of these longer shows.

RebRox65

I enjoyed the Tv show KILLJOYS, only 50 episodes, it’s certainly got humour like firefly and very different to other sci-fi shows

Edward Olson

Sci-Fi shows I haven't seen reacted to that would be great: "TRAVELERS" on Netflix, "DARK MATTER" on Syfy, "BEFOREIGNERS" (Norwegian 6 episode series) on Hulu; Marvel series on Netflix: "DAREDEVIL," "JESSICA JONES," "LUKE CAGE," PUNISHER." I don't recommend Iron Fist. BBC show that would be great for reactions: "SHERLOCK"

RebRox65

I highly agree with you BLACK MIRROR is one of the most thought Provoking shows I’ve ever seen unfortunately Natalie has watched a few episodes and found it too traumatising and close to reality and it gave her some anxiety which she has said she will not watch no more of the series. It’s a shame, but it’s not for her.

Anonymous

a great one off star wars video to watch is the SWTOR cinematic. its 20 mins long and is completely animated but not only looks better than any cgi thing u have seen before but is movie quality. its set in the distant past, a war between Jedi and sith. I'm confident it will blow your mind. its actually about 6 mini videos compiled together to advertise the pc game "star wars - the old republic". just youtube swtor cinematic. i have been posting this on youtube and now here, so you can guarantee I'll be asking regularly till you do react to it hehe. anyway I love ur vids, keep up the good work, so long and thanks for all the fish

RebRox65

I like would like the see reactions to all these shows, although I haven’t seen Dark Matter yet, it’s on my list. I noticed you missed Iron Fist (wonder why) and The Defenders.

Eric Janssen

How about....one classic SITCOM episode before you jump into the next dour, ponderous, intentionally crack-addicting binge-cable series that tries to shock-and-awe naive twentysomethings with "cinematic" budgets? Y'know, one Dick Van Dyke, Addams Family or Beverly Hillbillies, and then Westworld to your heart's content?

Ortizmo2000

Watch "Bosch" if you wanna see a quality TV show. Excellent TV Crime drama based on an excellent book series.

JarHead0351

"Sons of Anarchy" would be a great show to follow - talking about a roller coaster ride

Anonymous

So out of these Game of Thrones, but I would also like to see Attack on Titan if possible. I know it's not a live action, it's anime, but it is super good

Darren Withers

I'm just gonna put it out there, Farscape is one of the most underrated Sci-fi's out there, with one of the most well developed antagonists ever in Scorpius. Lots of fun, lots of tears, anyone who hasn't seen it is seriously missing out.

Garrick Smalley

Thank you Natalie for wanting to do more content just please make sure you do not over work yourself. I have a guess that when the worst of covid is over there will be a drop in viewership, don't panic. Farscape is a space tv show by the Henson studio (Muppets) that is very worth watching. I voted for Buffy. Second place for me is Westworld. If GoT is not your thing try them. I will try to think of other not space related shows for you.

tezster

Of course GoT wins - while it's definitely reaction worthy, I would prefer another series.

Anonymous

I've not watched GoT - but kinda excited to watch along with Natalie. However... if you're doing 2 episodes a week, could you do 2 shows simultaneously so Buffy gets a look in too? ETA: Just realised I misremembered what you said. It's 2 movies a week - and 3 episodes, but edited together. But leaving this as a suggestion in any case!

Anonymous

FWIW I don't think Westworld is gonna fit here. There are great moments and big ideas but the narrative and character work are lacking. It's also really dark and violent. There's not much chance of it winning this poll but unless that show pulls off a killer final season I kindof advise folk to steer clear.

Anonymous

I am a huge fan of Sci-Fi and Fantasy shows, and though I've read the Game of Thrones books, I can't get past the first episode of the TV show. I've watched it 3 times and have no interest in seeing the next one. I understand the show is great, but this is where I find myself anyway. Buffy is a great show, but it might be problematic for some people what with the problems people are talking about with Josh Whedon. I'd still rather watch Buffy though.

David Brown

Natalie, you should watch Agents of SHIELD! It's on netflix. #Coulson Lives

Yani Dodge

At first I was totally down with Game of Thrones, but then I realized that with Natalie's reactions to other movies, I'd be kind of worried about Natalie's heart if she watched GoT :P

Michael Bergeron

It seems odd to me how many people think Natalie couldn’t handle GoT. It wasn’t my choice as mine was LOST, even though it clearly won’t win, just because that show is almost all character development which she has said she enjoys. But anyway she seemed to enjoy Gladiator and I feel like it has some similar vibes to GoT in a lot of ways. My only concern with Buffy was just how many episodes it is and the commitment of time that it is, plus last I watched it it seemed pretty dated to me now. But I’ll watch along with any choice really. GoT may be more adult oriented or more graphic of a show, but I think it would be fine as well.

Steve J

lol, agreed. GOT is essentially Gladiator + 50 Shades of Gray, both of which she already watched and seemed to 'handle it' just fine.

Anonymous

You should consider "24". :)

Game Wizard001

Should consider Fringe in the future. It's not as many seasons as Buffy would have been, only 5 seasons. It's basically X-Files but no aliens or supernatural type elements. Just mad or Fringe science.

JarHead0351

anyone said "Highlander" tv show - that was a real good show if anyone remembers it

Joits

Would have preferred a show with less episodes. GoT will take years, while Westworld shouldn't take too long.

Anonymous

Doctor Who please

RebRox65

So it looking like GoT is winning this poll, As I’ve already mentioned, YouTube are now blocking most reaction now due to the Explicit content, and most reactions are done on other platforms. So how much do we expect that Nat, gonna be able to show from each episode, I think she’ll be lucky if it about 10min of showable content. She will have to confine her reaction to Patreon which will be a little unfair to those who can’t subscribe for what ever reason and it’s gonna tie her up for years, I also don’t think she will like the extreme violence, sex, rape, killing of horses, slavery and foul language (I loved it) BUT the story telling is just brilliant and character development (not sure how she will deal with the legendary killing off main characters bit) we’ll have to see, watch along is gonna be interesting, I’m getting the ear defenders ready🤣 I’d much rather WESTWORLD Just for the summery at the end to see how much she is confused as I was.

RebRox65

Warehouse 13 would be a good show

Anonymous

Hi Natalie. Not sure you'll see this, but I'm a new supporter here having watched your YouTube channel for a while. Really enjoy watching your reactions to various films/shows!

Anonymous

One thing I think you'd enjoy if wanting a slightly smaller TV show commitment is The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. Tons of great voice talent and one of the best shows I've seen in years. Just a suggestion :)

Darryl Low

Welcome aboard Marc. Have fun catching up with all of Nat's full length reactions. 👍

Anonymous

Might I suggest Clone Wars and Rebels if you're in the mood for more Star Wars or The Expanse if you're looking for (relatively) hard Sci-Fi?

Conor

Words cannot describe how much I want you to watch Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Lol, way better that GOT.

Conor

I'm assuming you're putting Buffy into the "Meh" category and boy oh boy do you know nothing about that show.

Anonymous

if you haven't seen it, Avatar the Last Airbender is one of the greatest shows ever made

Anonymous

Ahhh someone with the same view on Lost, a rare sight. Thank you for voicing your opinion :)

Anonymous

So many people disregard it, because it is animated. True it was made for 8 year olds, but like a Disney movie, its so much more than that.

Anonymous

GoT is AWESOME, until you get to season 6, then it all goes downhill. It just continuously gets worse until the incredibly disappointing finale. It's so hard to recommend this show just because of the terrible payoff at the end. But the first 4 season and the end of season 5 is just soooo good.

Valar Dohaeris

Well, GoT won. But it's nice to see a hundred votes for Lost. I bet I could find some friends here... And many enemies ;)

RebRox65

Well we're only 6 episodes in to GoT and she's a Wreck guys . I think she only watch this show when Tyler and her doggie is with her. What's she gonna be like when really get going from season 4 on, I think she's gonna need therapy. (I'm only messing with you Nat, I know you're a tough cookie, but I am concerned for the later seasons)

cosmic wave

You visited quite some of the biggest franchises, only but Star Trek? Is there a chance you might pick it up? You basically just need to decide if old or new Trek. :)

Anonymous

It might be a little obvious, but how about Breaking Bad? Plenty of WTF moments and tons of character development, both of which it seems Natalie loves. Great ending, not a very long series, critically acclaimed, extremely well acted and filmed, seems like a great fit for reaction videos!

Powers209

I have a write in for the Poll. ARCANE on Netflix. it's short only one season. but it is Sooooo Good.

Michael Patrick

If you ever did LOST, I would explode with happiness. Most reaction worthy show of all time
