There are people who's favorite episode isn't Out Of Gas?

Ronny Boss

I was about to hit the old sack, then you posted this 😀 If I oversleep tomorrow I'll tell my boss they have to subscribe to your patreon to complain 😝

Ronny Boss

Out of gas is pro9my fave with Janestown as number 2 mainly for the song 😁

Joe Jeffords

This means that your days of reacting to Firefly are certainly coming to a middle. Glad you had fun with this one. Still a lot of terrific stories to come. It's a testament to the quality of this series that, after all these years, it is still adding new Browncoats to its ranks.

TrackHoodie

"yeah! Fuck you guys" you really love when the baddies get there comeuppance LMAO

Kevin Morris

Can't wait for war stories. That was always my favorite. Not sure if I will still think that this go around since it's been awhile since I watched the show.

Joel S

Inara's face at the end always kills me.

John

That's a fun episode. I think you had more dialog than the show did. :)

Ronny Boss

I died when this first aired. The humour in this was Golden, and episode 7 is gonna be funny as flip too. can't wait to see what you think of Janestown 😂 Stay Golden Gurl, and have a fun weekend 💙🎬🎥📺🚀😍

As great as this epi is, I love Jaynestown. Who doesn’t sing the song like all the time?

Anonymous

I’m so glad she decided to do this. Gave me a really good excuse to watch the series again

crawlie

Love Saffron, like you say she's such a layered character, and Christina does her perfectly. Ah, the special hell for people who talk in the theatre ;)

michael denny

Shepherd book was performing last rites on the bandits they killed during the party.

Matthew Periolat

“Ah, Christina Hendricks.” *camera sideeye* Never wanted to vanish through the floor so much in my damn life. Going to the special hell indeed. I have a thing for redheads. Shut up. Having said that and all the jokes aside, yeah, this is my favorite for the laughs. There is such a joy to the awkwardness. Only downside is we didn’t get Kaylee in the fun, but she kinda had her episode two back, be a bit before we get back around to her. Natalie WOULD love that line about people who talk in the theater, wouldn’t she? And yes, my child, there is dirt in the Bible, just gotta look at it right. Any book that has a crowd of villages screaming for two angels to be thrown out of the house so they can have sex with them has probably got some sordid stuff to it. May be a good book, but not THAT good. Yeah, would be nice if characters came back. Hmm. Can’t wait for Jaynestown.

Prof Moff

I am sore from laughing at your watching of this one. I always laugh non stop when I watch it but I had to watch twice because I was laughing at you being cracked up by this that I missed the next funny moment. This is the episode I make everyone I try to get to watch this series go to. I tell them go until the 6th ep if that one doesn't hook you then Firefly is not for you. Everyone has been hooked so far

Ronny Boss

Jane's song is my ringtone 😁 I just wish I had his hat when someone calls me

Ronny Boss

I use that line all the time at work when someone leaves the shop jacked up

Texas Anla'Shok

I remember the first we saw this, my mom was suspicious of her from the start. She was just a little too innocent there.

JediLounger

This episode is a riot. I am pretty sure I watched since it was first broadcast, but it had been a while. Yet I still remembered the entire thing from Mal in a dress to final Inara stunned face. Side note, if you ever have the chance to watch the Blu-ray commentary track with Weadon and some of the cast, I highly recommend it.

One of my favorites. The next one on the list as well. Saffron is a special girl.

Andy Jordan

Glad you had so much fun with this one. You have quite the infectious laugh. Saffron was definitely such an interesting character - so much about a character in only one episode. I like to think if they hadn't gotten canceled, they would've brought her back for the second season. And I don't think everyone who talks in the theater has a special place in hell - that's sort of what you do here, and it makes all our days brighter, and thank you for it. :-) Looking forward to tomorrow's Twitch stream. Cheers, Nat!

Spooky Dooky

Great episode and great reactions Nat ! <3

Nerd Going Outside

"Our Mrs. Reynolds", "Jaynestown", and "Out of Gas" form such an amazing three-episode run. Thanks for giving me an excuse to re-watch the series, looking forward to the next ones!

Robert Reichle

Love it, but the next episode is equal to it for me.

Tranquil_Gnome

Nat you have good instincts on things. I say no more. Great episode and Firefly has more good ones coming. Enjoy. Keep up the good work.

Robert Avila

That was a really fun and enjoyable episode. It was really good to see you watch something that isn't going to give you nightmares.

Darryl Low

Dishes washed, washing done, grass cut. Right, playing in 3, 2, go! Edit: Just finished washing and Nat provided the perfect tonic for today. Great reaction and so much fun to watch. Thanks Nat.

my favorite line from this one is "I wish you hundreds of fat children." 😂

Troy B.

When I first saw this, it was one of my favorites, but for me once I know... well, what we know... it doesn't have the same affect for me. Still a great episode, though!

Misty Crom

"Days of me not takin' you seriously are definitely comin' to a middle' would be mine.

Misty Crom

Interesting little story - not related to this episode, but the show in general. I first watched it because I was going to a convention with a 'space cowboys' theme (2010). Must've watched it maybe 3 times in like 4 months. Also won the Nerf-gun quickdraw tournament they had. Would've won the target speed-shooting too if I'd realised I could use my own Maverick since their one I used jammed and it cost me like 2 seconds or so and I only came 4th. Always brings back those great memories.

TrackHoodie

It is pretty much the entire browncoat fandom's face when they didn't kiss

I love how quick this episode goes from "awe poor girl" to "what the actual fk is going on"

Anonymous

Everyone that watches this show for the first time, can never figure out why it only lasted for one season! Until you go back and look at the order that the network put the episodes in!! This show was never given a chance to succeed!!!

Joe Jeffords

It's surprising that they let it air at all with how poorly it was treated by the network execs. The fan uproar for such a short-lived show was unprecedented. I seem to recall that Joss Whedon unsuccessfully shopped different networks in the hope someone would pick it up. If only Netflix or Hulu streaming had existed back then.

I have to say this is my favorite episode as it is largely the one I remember the clearest other than the premier. It's been more than a decade since I watched this and it is a pleasure to watch it again with fresh eyes.

Good stuff Nat

Tom Evans

All of the middle episodes are my favorite. We're into the "meat" of the series now. The next bunch of episodes are all really good. It trails off a little at the end for me, but that's OK because the movie is excellent.

Flick Freaks

Jaynestown is next! My absolute favorite episode!!!!!!!

John Burns Burnsey

“His eyes seem to follow me no matter where I go.” 🙂

Ellis Hugh

Our Mrs. Reynolds and Jaynestown back-to-back is pretty strong.

Sean Novack

I'll NEVER forgive the SciFi Channel (SciFy now) for continuing to put money into stupid "Unbelievable Cheap Looking Monster Of The Week" movies instead of paying for this series to continue. Easily the worst decision in broadcasting history in my opinion.
