1. Star Wars 2. Han Solo (Fly the Falcon and have Chewie as a best friend!)

Anonymous

My favorite movie is Empire Strikes Back (loved the reaction for that one) and I would love to be anyone from Star Wars, but preferably before the Clone Wars haha. Thanks Nat!! We love the content!

Anonymous

1. Airplane! 2. An elf from Lord of the Rings (I'd probably leave the forest to go hang with the hobbits though). Immortal and ageless, superhuman abilities, pre-stamped ticket to literal heaven whenever I get bored of middle earth... what's not to like?

JSounds

My favourite movies are the Marvel ones! I'm such a nerd, I just love that whole universe! And if I could be any character, it would be Tony Stark because the suit is like the ultimate COVID mask 😂 Plus, I wanna be able to fly! 🤩

Anonymous

I think my favorite Movie of all time is Blade Runner. The original one. And the Character I would most like to be is Lucifer Morningstar, from the Netflix series Lucifer. Because he is just so cool, and handsome. And of course had lots of money and women.

Anonymous

1) Fave Movie: Braveheart. Fave Show: Lost. 2) I would want to be Gandalf, I think. Cozy clothes. Excellent beard. Spend most of my life wandering around the earth. Occasionally helping to save the world and scold hobbits or tell off other wizards. (Him, or Ahsoka Tano. Cause duel wielding lightsabers and all of space!)

Matthew Jaszyn

1. My favorite movie would have to be Aliens or every Star Wars movie the Mad Max movies! Favorite TV show would have to be either The Mandalorian or Daredevil or Avatar The Last Airbender. 2. If I could be anyone from any TV show or movie I would want to be Ash from the Evil Dead franchise! Yeah he gets screwed over a lot, but he has so many good lines and I would love a chainsaw hand!

Anonymous

1. Favorite Movie: The Big Lebowski. 2. Character i would be: Ricky Lafleur I guess i love lazy guys who drink all day hahaha

Anonymous

Of course I love Star Wars. I would like to be Anakin /Vader. When I was a kid he was the most evil character I knew, as an adult I can see how just a few decisions can change not only your life but the lives of others.

Anonymous

My favorite movie is The Empire Strikes Back and if I could be any character in the whole wide world, I would want to be Princess Leia. She’s so strong and yet still so sensitive and loving. I would like to be like that. Plus I’d love to be Han Solo’s girlfriend 😂😂😂

Michel Ferreira

1. I keep changing my mind but The Boys is definitely my favorite one at the moment. 2. I would be Zuko, from Avatar the Last Airbender. I would love to be a firebender!

Game Wizard001

Favorite current movie is The Last Unicorn. And I would want to be Deadpool for the fact that I could try any physical activity and never worry about lasting consequences.

E

1. Favorite movie is Lord of the Rings Return of the King. Favorite tv show/miniseries is Band of Brothers. 2. A character I would like to be is Aragorn from LOTR of course, he's a Númenorean (human that lives an unusually long life), he's the King of Gondor, and he's married to the angelic Arwen.

Anonymous

1) Favorite movie: Memento / Favorite show: House (at least rn, ask again tomorrow) 2) I think I'd pick Samwise Gamgee. That kind of ordinary seeming courage and dedication is really quite extraordinary when you think about it. It'd be something to know what that feels like. (Plus I'm most of the way to a Hobbit anyway...)

Paul C

1) Already mentioned that my favorite movie was 5th Element. To add a TV show, it's Supernatural. 2) That's a toughie as there's quite a few to choose from, but since I'm a huge Patrick Stewart fan, it'll be Captain Jean Luc Picard of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D.

Anonymous

This is a really cool idea. And can't wait for firefly!! With that said though: 1) My favorite TV show has to be The West Wing. It's just too good in too many ways. I can go back and watch it for the millionth time and it STILL gets to me. 2) This is tricky. I think I'd want to be Lt Col John Shepard from Stargate Atlantis. I'd LOVE to explore a whole other galaxy while we're still getting our bearings here in the milky way.

Andy Jordan

1. My favorite film is Casablanca. My favorite TV show is Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. 2. I would be the grandfather in The Princess Bride because I like passing on stories and information to people who haven't heard them yet the way they were passed on to me.

Armchair Wizard

My favorite Tv show of all time is Breaking Bad. Its just so well written, and you can really tell Vince Gillian really cared about what he was making. If i could be one character? I would be Captain Picard from Star Trek TNG. I would explore space!

Raymond DeGraw

Favorite TV show: "The Shield" from FX channel. Just love that gritty cop action/drama series. Great cast and wonderful guest appearances throughout the series. Favorite Character I would like to be: Luke Skywalker from Return of the Jedi. I've always loved the scene at the Sarlacc Pit when he ignites that green lightsaber for the first time.

Oouga

My favorite movie/show: I watch Tinman over and over, so I guess I'll choose that one. What character would I be and why: I'll say Clint Barton (Hawkeye/ Avengers & MCU). He is caring and loyal and has the wisdom to back his actions. He makes mistakes but owns them and makes himself better. He knows a good person when he sees them, even if he was told previously that person is an enemy. And he rocks with a bow. I love a bow.

Anonymous

1) Favorite movie/TV Show: I'd have to say Star Trek: The Next Generation. I've always loved Star Trek (I grew up watching TOS on reruns in the early 70s), but TNG was just a great show. 2) Captain America

Reggie Clark

1. Favorite show: original Twilight Zone. 2. Character: Obi-wan Kenobi

Emily Smith

My favorite movie is probably the Shawshank Redemption. My favorite tv series is probably Law and Order SVU. If I could be any character, I would choose Dr. Beverly Crusher played by Gates McFadden on Star Trek TNG. She is very stong, independent and has a stong moral compass. She is very passionate about her family and of helping people no matter the circumstance and even at a detriment to herself.

mrhalfbit

1) Favorite TV show is 100% The Office, and my Favorite movie is The LOTR Trilogy. 2) This is a horribly hard question. GOODness....um, If I’m just choosing one, off the top of my head I’m gonna go with Michael Scott, because Holly is the coolest girlfriend in the world

Anonymous

Movie: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. TV: Schitt’s Creek. I would be Indiana Jones in a New York minute.

Anonymous

Battlestar Galactica (2004) Carl “Helo” Agathon because he sacrificed, he did the right things for good reasons, he often came down on the wrong or others side of issues for ethical and moral reasons that were contrary to popular opinion but he was steadfast in his beliefs. Thanks Nat for all you do!

Anonymous

Fav TV show NCIS, fav movie(s) Star Wars(original trilogy). If I could be any character from a movie it would be Iron Man.

Dan Tydeman

Favourite Movie is STARDUST. Just something about that movie makes me feel good. I would Be Samwise Gamgee From LoTR. His loyalty and bravery is something I respect greatly.

Anonymous

Favorite Genre : Sci Fi Favorite Character : Lt. Reginald Barclay(Star Trek TNG, Voyager)....because reasons.

Anonymous

This is tough. I doubt I can name a favorite movie. My favorite tv show, as someone else said, would be Supernatural. Love them Winchester’s. As for what character I’d be, I think it would be Dolores Umbridge. She’s the most level-headed, correct Witch in all of the Potterverse... if I was gonna chose the worst character of all to be. I’d choose Hagrid. For so many reasons. I love nature, wildlife, and motorcycles. Yeah, my pick is Hagrid. If you know, you know.

Anonymous

King Kong (1933) fav character Ann Darrow--the girl kong is after

Mondo Spieler

1) X2: X-Men United. Even with its flaws, it still holds a special place for me. 2) Colossus from the X-Men

JediLounger

Favorite movie. That is a tough one. I love to re-watch movies, so I would guess that the movie I have watched countless times would be The Thing. It is so subversive as it plays with your conceptions of truth and deception. Who is lying, who is your friend? I watch it every year on Halloween, it is great fun. Favorite character. That is much easier. Geralt of Rivia, Witcher. Read all the books, played the games many times over, and now that Netflix is pushing forward with a franchise of multiple series, as it holds the current record of their most watched show ever, I look forward to many more adventures with him. Toss a coin to your Witcher!

Chris (darkwater)

1) It's a hard choice but... Babylon 5 probably takes it as favourite show. Movies would have to be MCU out of all of them maybe the first Iron Man. 2) Speaking of.. being Iron Man would be pretty dope. :)

Anonymous

1) Twin Peaks. I would love to see you react to that (assuming you haven't already seen it) but I'm not so sure enough other patrons would be interested... 2) Willow from Buffy the Vampire Slayer but it's hard to explain why without spoiling the show, so I'll tell ya after you watch it! :)

Troy B.

1. It's hard for me to pick a favorite movie, but my favorite TV show of all time is Quantum Leap. Was it the best show? Probably not. But it embodied three things I love in a TV show: humor, empathy, and a neat sci-fi gimmick. 2. I'm trying to remember if there's ever been a character in a movie or TV show that made me actively wish I were him or her. I mean, in passing, sure, but in a "wish granted" sense? Hmm. I'm going to say Jean-Luc Picard from Star Trek: The Next Generation. I mean, I'm absolutely *nothing* like him, but I think it would be cool to be a Captain on a starship in the future. And that's not even coming from a place of ultra-geeky Star Trek fandom or anything, he just seems like a level-headed person and I'm really curious as to what things will be like in two hundred years. As for a movie character, I'd pick drummer Guy Patterson from "That Thing You Do!" Just because.

Anonymous

Favorite show: Breaking Bad Favorite Movie: Sky High. 😂 I wish I could be Dominic Terreto from the Fast and Furious franchise because even though he is human, he can survive whatever as long as he has his family.

Adam Sandoval

1.) My favorite show is Kamen Rider OOO (It's a show from Japan) and my favorite movie is Grave of the Fireflies. 2.) I would want to be Vegeta from Dragon Ball Z because he is one of the few characters in my opinion who has a real character arc in the shows run. I especially relate to him accepting the fact the main character is and always will be stronger then him and that he doesn't have to be. And I like that he can fly and shoot energy blast from his hands and he is really strong. Keep up the great work

Anonymous

The Matrix; Neo He is a humble man who unlocks his potential and in the end saves his friends and his true love.

Anonymous

Favourite show? Probably Battlestar Galatica. If I could be anyone? I'd be The Doctor :D

Ronny Boss

Hands down my favourite show is The Expanse. With Firefly, Black Sails, and the OAV of Record of Lodoss Was in the 2nd 3rd 4th slots. As for my favorite movie.. That's a hard one. I'm gonna have to go with the 1985 film Legend 😁 If I could be any character I would choose be Camina Drummer. She is probably one of the strongest characters on any show. Her dedication to her people, and friends, and unwavering convictions are extremely admirable. And she sure can give a hell of a speech when she needs to 😄 Stay Awesome Gurl, hope you are staying safe in that heat

Anonymous

1- avoiding the usual Empire Strikes Back response, my favorites TV show is Seinfeld! 2- I would want to be Kramer. every day is something new, my life wouldn’t be a repetitive routine formed by someone else’s standards, my luck is eternal and my scheming and inventions would keep my brain constantly going and going

Anonymous

1) Favorite movie is Empire Strikes Back. Probably have seen it 200 times since I was a kid. Watching your video of that was such a treat. Took me all the way back. I even still own my parents original VHS copy from like 1982, when they were around $80 in 80’s money! Insanely expensive at the time. 2) Probably Doctor Who. Being able to see and experience anything in the past or future anywhere in the universe without necessarily changing history.

Jonathan Deguire

Favourite Movie? Hmmm, I would have to say Lord Of The Rings, and I had to pick one The Two Towers. But anything Science fiction or fantasy I enjoy.

Drew

1) Lord of The Rings trilogy, Black Sails 2)Eomer and Charles Vane

Anonymous

Favourite film... Jeez, I don’t know.. favourite film I’ve seen RECENTLY was The Last Samurai, but I can’t think of an all time fave 😅 Favourite series is easier. Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul are both just 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 bloody brilliant. And if I could be a character from any film, Tony Stark/Iron Man. I’ve even had dreams about it 😂

Jonathan Deguire

I would be Jason Bourne From the Bourne Trilogy. Why? He's cool. He's an assassin but no longer wants to be. He doesn't want to hurt anyone but will if he has to. Plus his awesome hand to hand combat training and weapon play. The fights on these movies is on pare with Matrix in my option. Or Aragorn for the same reason his battle skill and healing knowledge. And let's be real I would not mind being married to Arwen.

Anonymous

I'd have to say that my favorite TV show is Chuck. I don't know how many times I've watched the entire series. As for movie, that's a really, really, REALLY, hard decision. I don't think I would be able to make up my mind. For the character I would want to be, maybe Chewbacca, because of his unwavering loyalty to those he's close to.

Sam Kimpton

1) My favorite TV show is Firefly. Despite it's short run, it managed to amass a huge following that's still going strong after 18 years. I love the setting, the characters and the story that was crafted for this show. It's just so good. 2) If I could be any character, it'd have to be Arthur Dent from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. That guy got to see some crazy shit.

Anonymous

I'd say my favorite film is "Back to the Fiuture". For one, I was exactly the same age as Marty when the film came out, and for another, the film is just magical. Well paced, characters are great, and an amazing soundtrack. If you haven't seen it, definitely make time! (The sequels not so much). As for a character I'd like to be, who wouldn't want to be Captain James T Kirk of the starship Enterprise? Travel the galaxy, meet strange aliens, and boldly go! :-)

Anonymous

Favorite show was "The Late Late show with Craig Ferguson". Probably not quite what you were looking for but it is the honest truth. For character hands down it would be Aragorn from Lord of the rings. I wanted to name my twin daughters Arwen and Eowyn but my wife said Nay Nay.

Marcus Jeter

1. My favorite movie is an easy choice. It is Fellowship of the Ring. Although I like to think of the Lord of the Rings trilogy as one movie in 3 parts. The Lord of the Rings is the definitive work of fantasy. It is easy to see that so many other movies in this genre draw from Tolkien's masterful work. Peter Jackson's films are clearly a love letter to this epic. It is obvious that screenwriters Phillipa Boyens and Fran Walsh have a deep understanding and love for this epic. The care taken in the costuming and music and miniatures was phenomenal. The New Zealand landscapes were breathtaking and a perfect representation of Middle Earth. The choices of actors for the cast were nearly perfect. I can not imagine anyone else as Gandalf other than Sir Ian McKellen. Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Sean Bean, Ian Holm all excellent selections. And there were too many wonderful moments to mention. When Frodo is standing alone at the banks of Parth Galen and decides to take the ring to Mordor by himself and you hear that callback to Gandalf's words and Howard Shore's music swells and a tear comes to Frodo's eye is one of my favorite moments. As much as I love many other movies and am a huge Star Wars fan, Fellowship of the Ring stands out by far as one of the best movie experiences of my life. I could go on about the DVD extras and so many other things that make this movie and this series great, but I will end by saying "thank you" to Peter Jackson for bringing Middle Earth to life and providing us all with a film that will be a classic and live long in our hearts and minds. 2. I am not the only one of your patrons that will choose Samwise Gamgee as my favorite character and the one I would most like to be. There is no doubt that without Sam the quest would have failed and Middle Earth would have been lost. But what makes Sam the best is his loyalty and friendship and love of Frodo. I believe Sam to be the hero of the series. He is both courageous and brave and fiercely defends Frodo to the end. When Sam says in Return of the King, "I can't carry it for you but I can carry you" brings me to tears every time. Long live Samwise the stout hearted!

Anonymous

My favorite movie is Fight Club. If I could be any character I'm picking Dominic Toretto from the Fast movies, because he always fights for what he thinks is right. Good luck everybody!

Anonymous

Cool idea!! 1) Favorite movie is probably Children of Men. Masterclass in cinematography, editing, writing, sound design. Really everything. Alfonso Cuarón constantly blows my mind. I have watched the behind the scenes look of how they did that car scene multiple times and still don't fully comprehend how they pulled that off. 2) If I had to pick any character from a movie, I'd probably go with Mark Watney (Matt Damon's character) in the Martian. To be able to problem-solve at that insane level while alone on Mars is pretty damn spectacular.

Delightful Destruction

Original Star Wars. I wasn't around for the original release but I vividly remember the Special Edition coming out and how excited I was to see the updates. If I could be any character it would be Marty McFly from Back to the Future. To have my own time machine would save myself a lot of hassle in life...

Daniel Drew

1) Doctor Who is my favorite franchise in general. Once I started watching it, I got hooked and it towers above other fandoms I enjoy, and I like a ton of fandoms XD. It is a wonderful show. 2) Hmm. I could be predictable and say The Doctor from DW, but I think any character that has a long lifespan. Like maybe Maz Kanata in the Sequel Star Wars Trilogy. Though that technically applies to The Doctor too, but there's a lot of pain in The Doctor's lives. Or maybe a cosmic being from the Marvel (comics) universe. Living long and seeing everything that happens just is a wonderful idea to me.

Anonymous

1: Favorite hands down is The Godfather. Matter of fact the entire trilogy is on of my favorites. Next to Star Wars and Lord of the Rings. 2: My favorite character would have to be would honestly have to be Harry Potter. I've always been a fan of the Wizarding World since I first opened the first book Sorcerer Stone. To be able and escape the world of Muggles and enter into that world would be amazing. Harry Potter is one of my favorite characters for the simple fact he's a great friend and is always down to do what's right. Even if needing to cut a few corners lol. I know, two extreme opposites but if you look at it from a far, both The Godfather and Harry Potter would do anything for their friends and family. Just apply different tactics lol🤷‍♂️

MotoDork

Favorite movie: Lawrence of Arabia. It's the quintessential David Lean epic. Character: Wolverine. Who wouldn't want an adamantium skeleton and healing factor?

CottonEyeJoe

Favorite TV show is Lost. Just had so many great characters and moments. Character would be James T Kirk, would love to be able to explore space and find new life.

Patrick Egan

1) Even though I'm a big sci-fi/fantasy fan, my favorite movie is about as far from that genre as you can get. My #1 all-time favorite movie is Casablanca. It's an absolute gem. Anyone who doesn't get a little choked up when the bar patrons drown out the Nazis by singing "La Marseillaise" just doesn't have a soul. My favorite movie IN the sci-fi fantasy genre it's definitely The Dark Crystal, but if I start talking about that movie I'll never stop. :) Coming up with a favorite TV show is really tough, but one that's easily at or near the top of my list is Person Of Interest. The concept was cool the stories were usually very strong, and the actors ALWAYS brought their A-game. For current shows, definitely Home Before Dark. No gimmicks or high concept, just a really strong story with solid writing and an excellent cast. 2) Now this is a tough one. But I think I'd go with Captain America from the MCU. Not because I want his powers, but because of the resolution to his character arc in Avengers: Endgame. I'll try not to spoil it too much, but if at the end of my road I'm as content with my life as he was at the end of that movie, I would be a very fortunate man indeed.

Tay Schumaker

Not great with picking favorites on things. 1. No Country For Old Men is probably my favorite movie. Impeccable script and acting. Big fan of sci-fi and fantasy as a genre 2. It's probably weird to say House, but House. Or Sherlock Holmes. I would love to be so smart and so self-assured at something and have that confidence. Maybe without the loneliness and being a huge dick though.

Robert

1)Gotta say “Stargate: SG1” series for the win! Watched the entire series three times now, and it still holds up! 2)Don’t laugh. But if I could be anyone, it would be Oaken from Frozen. He’s perfectly content with his life and lives it well without complaint or want for more...

Anonymous

#1 - Depends honesetly. But any of the Before Sunrise/Before Sunset/Before Midnight films would work (and I highly recommend watching them if you haven't seen them. The idea of wandering around Paris for hours with Julie Delpy always appealed to me. #2 Perhaps Samwise Gamgee from Lord of the Rings. "After" everything that went down. Winding down from that adventuring time with a wife and family in Hobbiton and all that comes with it sounds like a good life. Grow things, eat, drink, nap, eat again, etc...

Sarlacc1979

Tv, Battlestar Galactica (2004) Movie, Akira and Lawrence of Arabia Character, Gandalf the grey

Lord of the Rings: Return of the King, Obi Won Kenobi

RationallySassy

The Lord of the Rings trilogy (3rd is the best) is my favourite. I watch it every year! I still have to finish the books but I'm half way through the second. And if I could be anyone, hmmm.... Tough question. My brain automatically went to Hermione Granger but I bet there is someone else out there I'd like to be as well. She's funny, witty, obviously brilliant, high-strung (like me), kind, and pure of heart. Fun questions!

Anonymous

Favorite movie is Empire Strikes Back. Just always has been since I was a kid. And if I could be any character it would have to be Yoda. Might look a little weird, but get to be one of the strongest Jedi and use the force while also living for 900 years.

Joe

Favorite Movie: The Dark Knight Favorite TV Show: Breaking Bad If I could be any character from a movie/show, I would be Winnie the Pooh. Yes, you read that right. Why? Because my boi Pooh doesn’t have a care in the world and his purpose in life is to eat and be with his friends! :)

Anonymous

My favorite movie is The Departed with Leonardo DiCaprio. Suspense/Thriller is my favourite genre.

NobleSon32

My Favorite Movie is and always will be Princess Mononoke. My favorite TV show at the moment is Lovecraft Country. If I could be any character from fiction I would be Star Lord, roaming the Universe in my ship with no destination except adventure.

Koala Banana

Kingdom of Heaven (2005) is my favourite film. A real hidden gem. It follows a blacksmith in twelfth century Europe. Having faced great tragedy and injustice he is swept into a life-changing adventure. The theme of the film tackles the question of what constitutes a meaningful life given a world of adversity. I'd like to be Tony Stark. Wont go into full detail on why, but suffice it to say, he represents what a good man should be in light of all the power he possess. In short, I want his brain, his bank account, and his heart.

Koala Banana

Also, congratulations on your success! You deserve it for making great videos.

Anonymous

The Fifth Element just inches out The Lord of The Rings (Return of the King). Both movies I can watch or just listen to. TV shows has to be The Drew Carey Show with Lost, Star Trek (60's), and Parks and Rec. a close second...third...fourth. Guilty pleasure are the Pitch Perfect movies. A character I would like to be? Indiana Jones or Scotty (Star Trek). Jones just for the adventure and Scotty just because he has an awesome job!

Anonymous

My favorite TV show is definitely Game of Thrones but My Hero Academia is a decently close second. The character I'd like to be is definitely Jon from Game of Thrones. He's' the epitome of rising to the occasion. An otherwise unwilling leader who constantly has power and authority thrust upon him. He's just the coolest.

Brieanna

1. I love all movies and tv shows. I can't just pick one! I mean Disney musicals, anime's like Howels Moving Castle, MCU movies, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings. Tv shows I love Lucifer, Supernatural, Bones, Psych, Brooklyn 99, Buffy/Angel, Firefly, so many. I think my favorite genre is action/comedy? I don't like the Office, or things that are too drama, or cringy. 2. Honestly at this point I want to be Cain. Like in Lucifer or in Supernatural, completely immortal. I'm kidding....sort of. Honestly I want to be Parker from Leverage. She is a badass that can climb anything and is crazy skilled at stealing and likes money and helping people at the end. Or ya know maybe Shawn who does the same but with more funny business using his memory to convince people that he's psychic.

Jaybird922

My favorite movie is Pan's Labyrinth. If I could be any character I think i'd be Commander Riker from Star Trek TNG cause it seems like a pretty chill universe with neat technology, and he seems like a fun dude.

nataliegold

SIR! When I tell you my JAW DROPPED at Dolores Umbridge 😂...Hagrid is a great choice

nataliegold

Omg I literally had to look up that character cuz I didn’t know his name 😂 great choice!

nataliegold

Haven’t seen Sherlock Holmes yet, but loved the show House. Yeah...probably best to go with the guy who’s less tortured and mean 😂

nataliegold

Or you’d accidentally kiss your mom... But yeah time travel sounds cool! Haha

nataliegold

Hey! Craig is funny. One of my favorite shows years ago was Who’s Line is it Anyway? Everything counts :)

nataliegold

Indiana Jones was my answer as a kid! I literally wanted to become a History teacher AND a paleontologist/archaeologist in high school until I discovered that I just like acting like those characters 😂

Masterdude94

My favorite tv show is Stargate SG-1, and my favorite movie is Thor Ragnarok. If I could be any character though, I'd have to choose Thor from the MCU. He has awesome powers, and can take a lot of damage and still be fine!

Elisa H.

Being forced to pick just one (the agony! ) I'll go with Doctor who and who I'd be maybe River Song (she's smart, strong and bad ass) having an adventure with the 11th doctor 😊

Anonymous

1. My favorite TV show of all time is Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Currently, my favorite movie is Avengers: Endgame. 2. If I were to choose a character I would most like to be, I think I would choose Mike Donovan (played by Marc Singer) from the original series, "V" (1983-1985)

Anonymous

FAV SHOW, Star Trek the next generation. Grew up with that show and I watch it in the background almost every day. If I could be any character, Data, zero emotions

Anonymous

Favorite movie? There are so many possibilities: Jurassic Park, The Lord of the Rings, Mad Max, but I'd say Jaws is absolutely my favorite! Great characters, real suspense and a nice tight plot! Natalie, if you haven't seen it, you must. Character, I'd like to be Samwise. He's not flashy and he has so much heart and care of little things. He's always there for his best friend. He carried him up a mountain, he almost drowned to have his back! And he's a good cook. Stay safe Natalie!

Heidi Liedtke

1. Ah so hard! I could go on forever about favourite movies but I think I'll say Anastasia. It has a special place in my heart. 2. If I could be any character? I think one of the hobbits. I'm basically already one, except they get cool houses and don't have to deal with the outside world! P.s. congrats on 1000 patreons!!!

Anonymous

Of course I default to GoT but I’ll refrain my naming the character I’d like to be to save any spoiling. That being said the man that pops into my head is Cillian Murphy’s character, Tommy Shelby from Peaky Blinders. That man has BDE and no one has ever made smoking a cig and drinking whiskey look so fucking cool. Another absolute must watch series that needs to be on a poll.

Anonymous

1) Game of Thrones. It's got everything: sex, violence, and intrigue. 2) A character from any show? So...like a cooking show perhaps? Because I would love to be one of the judges and just eat amazing food all the time. Otherwise, I'd go with one of the hobbits from LOTR. They're just chilling with food and ale, having a great time.

Anonymous

I think I would have to say Silverado is my favorite movie. It has great pacing, story and characters, and a great theme song. And as for character... that is a tough one but I think Giles from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. He’s British (which I am not). And a smart dude that is awkward and funny! And he helps to save the world many many times!

Chris Lane- Venturi 3D

Favorite Movie: The Great Gatsby (2013) Character I'd like to be: James Bond, because he's the best spy and gets all of the ladies, lol

Anonymous

1. Favorite TV show - Love, written by Judd Apatow, starring Gillian Jacobs and Paul Rust! The show changed my life and who I am today, it taught me so much. 2. James Howlett, aka Wolverine. Without a doubt. 😊

Joseph Santwan

My favorite tv show was Night Court, a great 80s flashback. I would be Hattori Hanzo from Kill Bill.

Corbin Gislason

Favourite TV show - Transformers - Beast Wars. If I could be any character, I would try Sully from Avatar. I think it would be fascinating to have my conscious transferred to another (more athletic) body, and experience learning how to walk, run, ride all over again.

Garrick Smalley

Lord... My favorite movie/TV show is an easy pick Citizen Kane/Firefly. The harder question who would I be and why... I will give you three in no order. 1) Judge Harold T. Stone from Night Court because even as he passes judgement he does it with style, comedy and heart. I am working on those qualities in myself. 2) Shane Goosman from The Galaxy Rangers. He has the ability to morph his body. 3) Clay Danvers from Bitten. He is a werewolf.

Brandon Royce

Favourite Film: Scent of a Woman Favourite TV Show: Due South ...Not sure many know the show. It has a cult following of sorts. Especially if you're Canadian-Like myself. And if I could be any character from a film, it would be Chili Palmer from Get Shorty (and Be Cool). Why? Simply, because he's always cool and in control. He's enchanting character.

Hi Natalie!!!! My favorite movie is "Interstellar" (was bummed to hear you had already seen it haha) and my favorite TV show is Star Trek: The Next Generation. I would like to be any of those characters on that show since they get to live in a utopian future and get to explore space :-)

Dan Hughes

My favorite movie is Empire Strikes Back / favorite TV show is The Venture Bros. If I could be anyone it would be the Flash because of his superspeed and healing abilities. Love what you are doing here. You are so much fun to watch react to movies. Keep up the great work!

Matthew Periolat

Favorite movie: the 1977 Star Wars. Was born two weeks after it opened, was the first movie I was taken to as a child, watched it more times than I care to count as a child. Ate it, slept it, breathed it. It’s just a part of my DNA, part of who I am as a person really. Luke gazing off into the binary sunset may be the most relatable thing in any movie - everyone knows the longing, wishing to be a part of something larger than themselves, to be a hero in their own story. Favorite TV show: Probably the original 60s Twilight Zone. Different every episode, each story a form of morality. The strange, the unusual, the thoughtful, the cautionary, sometimes the funny. It’s all things and it’s probably my favorite show. Favorite character I wish I could be: Superman. A guy who is extraordinary but chooses to be normal to connect with humanity, but in times of need can be the hero, be a symbol of hope and inspiration. Vulnerable while strong, kind while brave. And deep down, what an iconic message. If you ever in life feel doubt, fear, regret, pain, hopeless, he’s there. You just have to look... up in the sky. Yeah, love me some Supes. Stay golden!

David of the North

Heya Nat, real generous of you, thanks! Fave Movie: Aliens Fave TV Show: Fringe I'd love to be Malcolm Reynolds from Firefly/Serenity. We seem to have similar streaks of luck. He is surrounded by friends and he always does the right thing in the end, even if it takes a while to get there.

Garren Haskell

If Star Wars can count, then Empire is my favorite movie by a mile. Always has been since I first saw it as a wee chile. If we're naming things other than Star Wars, I'd have to go with the first Back to the Future for just being pure fun, or Fight Club for just being pure nutso. As to what character I'd be? I'd be any hobbit living in Hobbiton. That is the life right there! Tending gardens, sitting back and enjoying life, drinking ale, smokin' pipes, living with other easy-going sorts like myself, maybe find a nice hobbit girl and grow an awesome life together. Maybe I should just move to New Zealand! :P

1. Picking one favorite movie is tough, but I think I am going to go with Pan’s Labyrinth by Guillermo del Toro. I’ve really gotten into foreign film over the past couple of years and this was the first one that left a lasting impression on me. It’s a beautiful film filled with great performances, a fantastic score, and of course Guillermo del Toro’s amazing visual style. I highly recommend it. Have you ever thought about branching out to foreign language films on your channel? 2. Samwise Gamgee from The Lord of the Rings. LOTR hold a really special spot in my heart and I chose Sam because I believe he sets a great example to live by. If I can show a fraction of the degree of friendship that he provided to Frodo to those I care about, then I consider that a win.

TommyTwoLegs

1) Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World. It's the only film that I could watch back-to-back-to-back and not fall asleep. Objectively, just a superb film. 2) Chris from the Magnificent Seven. A great character archetype and who wouldn't want to be Yul Brenner?

Caleb Clark

My favorite movies are Lord of the Rings for sure! The all time GOAT. My fav tv show is Adventure Time I think I would want to be Finn from adventure time. Middle Earth is amazing but very stressful lol, and living in Adventure Time would be exciting and also fun!

Anonymous

Favorite show is Mr. Robot and my favorite character is Hans Landa from Inglorious Basterds. Christopher Waltz disappears into the the role of someone so evil, yet so charming. It makes you like a villain, even for a moment, that you never thought you would like.

Anonymous

Favorite TV show: Star Wars: The Clone Wars Favorite Character: Jake Peralta from Brooklyn 99. I 100% identify with Jake’s character. Love Andy Samberg too.

Anonymous

Congrats on a thousand patrons!! Favourite movie(s): Star Wars, for sure! Character: Very tough decision... I’m going to pick Ruby Rose from the show RWBY, she’s an eternal optimist, extraordinarily dedicated, and always sees the best in those around her.

Anonymous

Favorite movie would probably be Blazing Saddles. It’s got to be one of the greatest comedies ever. Favorite Character is probably Vasquez from Aliens. She’s just a badass.

Anonymous

That's a tough one; there are so many movies - and so many *different kinds* of movies, that I love. I'm going to be unoriginal and go with Star Wars (which will never be "A New Hope" for me). As for character, I'll cheat and say any of Fred Astair's characters from Swing Time/Shall We Dance/Top Hat - because it would be a dream to dance like that, and he always gets the girl!

The Hedge Knight

That is so thoughtful Natalie. You do something so nice and then turn evil and ask us to pick our favorite child, I mean movie. ;) My favorite movie is A Knight’s Tale. I won’t go into details because hopefully you’ll do a reaction to it someday and I don’t want to spoil it. I’ll just say great cast, great story, great music. If I could be any character...Indiana Jones. Not only has he led an adventurous life, (from a very young age, if you’ve seen the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles) but he’s also a scholar, well-traveled and doesn’t do too bad with the ladies either. He also has excellent theme music, which can’t be overlooked. Thanks for the amazing content and being so gracious in your success.

Jason Dolan

My favorite movie is probably The Empire Strikes Back (which is the reason a lot of us are here, your Star Wars reactions and BOY LEMME TELL YA, can't wait for you to do the rest of them!) My favorite TV show is Seinfeld. I thought I might try and tell you the opposite, but since I'm always breaking even, I kept it simple. Happy Festivus! If I could be ANY character in any movie/franchise... that's a toughie... I guess I'll go with Billy Crystal in When Harry Met Sally... because he got to fall in love with Meg Ryan and I can't imagine a better fate in life. That's right, I'll have what he's having.

BJ Stephens

1. It's funny...as much as I love movies, I don't think I have a favorite one. Now my favorite TV show is definitely Dead Like Me, it just hits so many elements that I love in a show! 2. A character I'd like to be, would be Chuck from the show Chuck. Just your average geeky guy who gets to live a life of excitement with spies and espionage... not to mention have a girl who is not only beautiful, but awesome and kicks a ton of ass!

It Hurt A Lot

1. The. Empire Strikes Back. 2. Sam from LOTR. He's a legend in the Shire and has a great hobbit wife and kids

MisturSmith

My favorite TV show is by far Stargate: SG1. If I could be one character from a movie it would definitely be one of the Hobbits because thats definitely the lifestyle I'm aiming for :D

Ron

1. 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968). 2. Spock from Star Trek (The Original Series) because I've always wanted to be a science officer on a starship exploring deep space.

Anonymous

My favorite show is Babylon 5, one of the most interesting and in depth sci fi shows of all time! If i could be any character, it'd be Doctor Strange because doing magic would be awesome!

Anonymous

1) Favorite movie/tv show : Shawshank Redemption for movie... when I comes to TV; Generally SciFI... Trekkie here, so probably Deep Space 9... but Stargate:SG1 also acceptable. ;) 2) Character from a movie/show: "Q" ... because omnipotence is likely sweet. ;P

Ken

I don't know if I can pick a true single favorite. I love lots of movies and lots of types of movies, but one that makes me happy and I watch a lot is Defending Your Life. It picks me up on bad days and makes me feel even better on good ones. It's so easy going and optimistic and I love Albert Brooks' subtle sense of humor. And I don't think I'd want to BE any character, but I'd love to hang out and live in the same universe with the crew on Star Trek the Next Generation.

Gath Bard

What a nice idea! Let's see... 1. Blade Runner. Amazing movie, not much more to say. 2. Tough question. A lot of the coolest characters in movies and series have a tragic story arc in the end, or heavy character flaws...Probably Jeffrey "The Dude" Lebowski, from the movie "The Big Lebowski". He has no super powers, he's not ripped, heroic or super important in the world, but at least when he's faced with challenges he always tries to do the right thing. Also I wish I was that chill.

Red Claw

1. I would say Star Trek. It's my favorite franchise including movies and TV series. If I have to be more specific I would pick TOS (the original series). Although I like every Star Trek TV Show except Discovery. 2. So. I'm trying to think of a character, that's living in a world, that's fun and not thretened with destruction or despair every other day. That eliminates a lot of possible candidates. In addition it would be great to have special powers, that make my life easier. No main character either. They have to face too much hardship. ... Ooooofff ... I think I got a good one. Gladstone Gander from Ducktales. Ducktales is comparitively a chill Universe and even if something goes wrong, because of my luck I would not face any harm. It would be a pretty good and chill live.

Calo Grsf

1. Favorite film: lotr-gladiator (I can't really choose) 2. I choose aragorn because he has courage and honour, and never give up.

Richard Ryan

Favorite Show/Movie: Gargoyles (1994), particularly the first season, second season was good too, mainly. I try to forget that there was a third. :) Who would I be... That would probably be Kei Kusanagi, from an Anime called Please Teacher. I'd choose Kei not because he saves the planet from annihilation in a giant robot, like so very many anime go for, but because his story let's me believe that plain, simple, ordinary guys can catch the affections of a girl that's "out of his league"...

Chaz Mannington

My favorite TV show is hands down The Good Place. I thought it would just be a goofy comedy about the afterlife. It is, but through it all it examines the philosophy of what makes a good person good. The four season arc is perfectly and purposefully placed to have a great beginning, a strong arc, and satisfying end, cannot recommend enough. My favorite movie has got to be The Shawshank Redemption. I loved the Stephen King novella, but the movie actually exceeds the book. I could watch that movie every day. Who would I be? Rick Sanchez from Rick and Morty. As the smartest man in the universe, nothing can stop him from exploring every corner of the Multiverse. Plus, I like to drink.

Anonymous

1) My favorite movie is Seven Samurai, favorite TV show is The Wire. 2) Most of my favorite characters from any kind of media are burdened with WAY too much responsibility. Way too many people depend on them, and I can't handle that kind of pressure. How about Klaus from Umbrella Academy? He's a major fuck-up and no one expects anything from him. That's a low enough bar for me to handle. Plus, he can talk to and conjure the dead. I'd kill for that ability.

Anonymous

1)My favorite movie/tv show is Lost. I'm currently watching the entire show (all 6 seasons) for the 4th time. No other program has come close to the feelings that Lost elicited from me. 2) My favorite character is David from The Lost Boys (Keifer Sutherland). I was 18 when I saw it in the theater and he was the epitome of cool for me at that age. I wanted the hairstyle; the long black coat;the motorcycle.

Anonymous

1. Favorite TV show is Breaking Bad (The Wire is a close second). Movie is real tough because of how many good ones there are. Also I forget most of them. Probably Black Hawk Down or John Carpenter's The Thing. 2. As far as character that I'd like to be. I always wanted to be immortal so I could experience the future. Also it'd be nice to be able to live like a normal person if I wanted to. So maybe Thor? The Doctor? I don't mind if I have to be Heroic every once in awhile, breaks up the monotony

Anonymous

1) too hard to pick a specific movie but genre is easy. 80s-90s SciFi (Like Stallone’s portrayal of Judge Dredd). 2) this is even harder but I’ll go with the Cliche Han Solo. He’s a such a good character!! Makes the franchise imo

So my favorite movie of all time is Halloween. My mom was a huge horror movie fan and when i was a kid every Saturday Afternoon they would show Creature Double Feature which we would watch together, which started my love of horror moves. Then in 1978 i saw the trailer for Halloween on TV and begged my mom to go see it but it was a no. Then in 1980 it was re-released in theaters and again i begged but i wore her down and she took me to see it. Now i dont know if youve ever seen it or not so im not gonna give anything away but there is a certain iconic scene and when that scene happened the crowd i was with lost its minds. People were literally jumping out of there seats and screaming at the screen and to thins day ive never seen anything like it. Although Avengers: Infinity War & Endgame did come close on how into it the crowd was. So after years of viewings i started to see and love the things that director John Carpenter did in the movie, the music, the mood, the lighting, that expressionless face mask, in my opinion its the perfect horror movie with Psycho being a close second. Which then brings me to the second part of your question and also answers my favorite TV show, which is The X-Files, so the character i would be of course is Mulder. I am a UFO and Paranormal nerd and i actually do some ghost hunting, so how cool would it be to actually get paid and investigate the strange and unusual. Plus Gillian Anderson is the most beautiful woman in the world, so that helps also.

(1) My favorite movie of all time is Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. Seeing you react to that video is what got me into your channel in the first place. (2) This one's a bit of a cheat, but if I had to be someone from a TV Show/Movie I'd have to go with basically anyone from any of the Pokemon animes. Pokemon was the first RPG I was introduced to, and the idea of gathering a team of six Pokemon and traveling across my local region (and possibly other regions) on an adventure has been a source of excitement and wonder for years since.

BynFlew

1. "Avatar: The Last Airbender" I would say is my favorite show. All the characters are great in Avatar and I love them all because they're all so different and unique and have some of the greatest character developments and redemption arcs I've ever seen. The worldbuilding is so well written that it never feels weird or off. The story is amazing and the action scenes are so well choreographed and well animated that they still look super good even for todays standards when the show came out in 2004. It might be a show on Nickelodeon but this show has so many feels and emotions that you can't watch the whole things without crying a few times. 2. I'd have to go with the Avatar himself, Aang. The reason why is simple... He can use all the elements. Air, Water, Earth and Fire. I can't pick a favorite element so Imma just go with all of them.

Anonymous

Favorite movie:. The Godfather. Favorite television show: Doctor Who. Character I'd want to be: Hmmmmm... Either Q from Star Trek, although with my own personality, or Gandalf in modern times.

Alexa Chipman

Favorite movie: Master and Commander, Favorite tv show: Yes, Minister, if I could be anyone: Galadriel. Also adding in favorite comic: Doctor Strange

Joe Jeffords

Favorite movie: "What About Bob?" What character would I want to be? Either Hub or Garth from "Secondhand Lions". Quite the epic lives they led. Plus, a little eccentricity isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Dayshaun

1. My favorite movie would have to be lord of the rings the two towers, favorite show is avatar the last airbender 2. Even though avatar my show is avatar I’d would want to be Alphonse Elric from an anime called full metal alchemist brotherhood he’s just adorable Ps: I highly recommend full metal alchemist brotherhood if you ever consider watching some anime in the future

Too many movies to have a favorite but one of my favorites that i will be watching later: Hot Fuzz (worth seeing if only for the translation scene and it pays homage to so many other movies, just like it's predecessors Shaun of the Dead, and the series Spaced did). The character I would like to be (at the moment) would probably be V (V for Vendetta), such good dialog and so much expression even though he is wearing a mask.

Darryl Low

I've always been a fan of the Star Wars movies and have probably watched them more than any other films over the years. The Empire Strikes Back being my favourite. I think my favourite character is Yoda. The perception of him being this small, frail creature when in fact he is stronger, wiser and more powerful than most, is such a clever idea. My favourite TV show would have to be Friends. A series that was consistently funny from start to finish. Favourite character would be Ross. On paper, he was the smartest of them all, but in reality he really did some of the dumbest and silliest things. He did end up with Rachel though, so it wasn't all bad :)

Oops. I accidentally sent this before I was done and didn't realize I was writing a second message instead of editing this one, so my answers are in 2 parts/messages. Sorry about that. Anyway, my answers start now. This sounds fun, and Congratulations on hitting 1,000 Patrons! There are a ton of reasons for something to be a favorite when it comes to almost anything, but when it comes to TV and Movies, I tend to pick favorites based on if it had an impact on my life or perceptions about life in general. The ones I'm picking today are 2 of those. I have other favorites for other reasons, but I'll leave that for another time. Favorite Movie/TV Show? I'll have to pick the original Kolchak the Night Stalker. It was the story of Carl Kolchak, a reporter for a Chicago newspaper whose investigations always ended up involving some supernateral something or other (vampires/Fembots/Jack the Ripper/ Ghosts and what have you). He was played by Darren McGavin (the dad from A Christmas Story) and gave the character a relatable rough around the edges charm. I loved this show and actually cried when it was cancelled. The impact it had on me was from an episode where the monster of the week was the headless ghost of a circus performer that was that was riding a motorcycle around at night and cutting off the heads of pregnant women with a sword. I'm not a woman, so logically you'd think I'd be in the clear, but to this day if I'm walking at night and here the sound of a lone motor cycle, my heartbeat increases and I start walking faster and looking over my shoulder. That show was 45 years ago and it still scares me.

As for which character I'd like to be, that's changed over the years for too many reasons to cover completely, but today I'd say Elliot fro E.T.. I'm a big believer in the existance of life on other planets, but to actually meet one of them and have an adventure that showcases the good in most of our hearts (Earthlings and Aliens) would make me one of the happiest people alive. The main reason this sticks with me though is because it was the first time that I ever saw my dad cry at a movie. It was the first time in my life that I saw him as not just my dad, but as a person regardless of his relationship to me. It changed my relationship with him for the better. Welp, there you go! Have fun readings these responses and I look forward to all your upcoming videos. Thanks Natalie!

1) What is your favorite movie/tv show? (If you don’t have one, what is your favorite genre)🤔 I tend to like/love Fiction in general. My favorite tv show right now is Doctor Who 2) If you could be any character from a movie/show, which one would it be and why? 🤔 I wouldn't want to be any one other than myself because if I'm "them", I wouldn't 'be' any more. But, if I HAD to choose, I'd be Spider-man because he's not overpowered and he's quick.

Benjamin Segura

Favorite tv show: Theres so many Natalie! Lol Ill narrow it down to The Office, Parks and Rec, How I met your mother, and Sherlock on BBC lol. Favorite movie is hard too but I love Inception. Fav Character: Tony Stark, because he shows how anyone can change and be a better person, but its all a journey :)

Bambi

Hey Natalie. Just wanted to say thanks for being so fun and real in your videos. Just lost my job and its been so much easier to get through having someone i can sit at home and watch movies with<3 1. I have so many fav series but my fav stand alone movie might be Interstellar. Love the theory of relativity 2. I honestly might pick Rey from the new star wars films. I know shes got it tough but man shes living the Jedi dream.

You're giving away 1000 Patrons? Wow, that sounds like a lot of work!

1.) My favorite move by far will always be Back to the Future. 2.) If I could be any character, it would be Steve Rogers/Captain America because at his core, he is simply trying to do the right thing.

Anonymous

1) For my favourite tv show it would definitely be Battlestar Galactica the 2004 version as I love the theme it explores. For a movie that’s really hard but I would say Back to the Future as that’s the first film I can remember watching with my mum at home. 2) For character I would say Hiro from Heroes as I love to travel and being able to teleport would make that so much easier! Plus I really like history so his ability to travel through time would be great as well

Anonymous

1) My favorite movie of all time is “A Few Good Men”. 2) If I could be any character it would be Spiderman/Peter Parker because with all the crap he’s had to deal with his entire life, he can still find a way to bring humor and levity to any situation. He is an inspiration to anyone who suffers from conditions like depression or has abandonment issues. Plus he has really cool powers :)

Anonymous

1) Back to The Future 2) Eli, in the Book of Eli (2010) because of this prayer and that he saw his task through. “Dear lord, Thank you for giving me strength and conviction to complete the task you entrusted to me. Thank you for guiding me straight and true through the many obstacles in my path. And for keeping me resolute when all around seemed lost. Thank you for your protection and for your many signs along the way. Thank you for the good that I may have done. I am so sorry about the bad. Thank you for the friend I made. Please watch over her as you watched over me. Thank you for finally allowing me to rest. I am so very tired. But I go now to my rest at peace… …knowing that I have done right with my time on this earth. I fought the good fight. I finished the race. I kept the faith.”

1. My favourite movie is Excalibur (1981). 2. I'd want to be Deon Wilson from Chappie.

nataliegold

Sorry to hear about that! Glad I can provide some entertainment for ya in these strange times. Hopefully a new and wonderful job comes along soon🤞

This is so fun! I love reading everyone's answers. For me: 1) My favorite movie today is Clue. 2) For characters, I think I would want to be the guy from Gattaca who gets to go on the rocket into outer space. I love exploring strange new places!

Denis Dupuis

1) What is your favorite movie/tv show? (If you don’t have one, what is your favorite genre)🤔 The Mandalorian, no doubts as far as tv show. Movie...that one's tougher...The Green Mile off the top of my head. 2) If you could be any character from a movie/show, which one would it be and why? 🤔 Not to double-tap...but yeah, The Mandalorian - Din Djarin. Why? You've watched the show...everything he does, and the reasons he does them...that's why ;-)

Anonymous

1) What is your favorite movie/tv show? Jurassic Park is by far my favorite movie. TV show, it's gotta be Stargate SG-1. I've seen that entire 10 season series 4 or 5 times now. 2) If you could be any character from a movie/show, which one would it be and why? This is hard, but I would say, Daniel Jackson or Samantha Carter. Both for the same reason. They're from Stargate. They travel to new worlds all the time, experience new things. Both are insanely intelligent. Jackson is a master of languages. Carter is a master of science and gets to be on the forefront of new scientific discoveries. Both characters embody my curiosity of the universe, while being badass at the same time.

1) Favourite movie is a relatively little-known Scottish comedy called Local Hero. I won’t spoil anything but I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. 2) That’s tricky! Ruling out adaptations, just to make things a little easier, I’d probably say the Doctor from Doctor Who. I wouldn’t necessarily want to live in that universe, what with the world being invaded, blown up or erased from reality about every other week, and the angst can get a bit much... on the other hand they’re probably the most OP character in all fiction. My favourite character would be an entirely different question.

Anonymous

1. The Lord of the Rings trilogy (Fellowship of the Ring if I have to pick one). 2. I'll go with Merry (from LotR). He has some great adventures, gets to be in on the biggest story Middle-earth has ever seen, and has great friends to share his experiences with. Some pretty awful things happen to him as well, but shows extraordinary resilience and an incredible ability to bounce back from disaster and suffering.

1. favorite movie Harry potter / show is avatar 2. I would want to be the Avatar I don't care which one, as long im the avatar lol Bend all for elements do i need to say more

1. Apollo 13, every time it comes on tv I must watch it. 2. Harry Potter, it would be so dope to use magic and go to Hogwarts.

1. Kes (Ken Loach) 2. Monsieur Hulot (Jacques Tati); because to see the world through his eyes must be pure joy.

Getoff Mylawn

Wow! A lot more variety in people's answers than I expected! I'm keeping it sci-fi nerdy. Fav TV show Stargate Atlantis. Favorite character I'm staying with SG Atlantis: Ronon Dex (or pretty much any other character played by Jason Mamoa). Ronon's fortitude and sense of honor are examples to live by. Also, he kicks ass!

Anonymous

1. Saving Private Ryan. 2. Harry Potter. That means I'd get to hang around with Hermione all the time, my favorite character. :) I can re-read those books all the time, as it just feels like visiting old friends.

Doug Willour

1. Probably Firefly. As you're about to discover, it's amazing. 2. Malcolm Reynolds. He's got Han Solo charisma mixed with great humor.

1. My favorite movie of all time is Gone With The Wind, but my favorite tv show is Outlander!! We are suffering through an incredibly LOONG Droughtlander at the moment and I'd love to pass the time by watching your reactions to it. 😁😁😁😁 2. That is really hard! So many good movies and tv shows I could live in, but I would probably chose Lisa from Heartland. (Another great show you could react too!!) Her and Jack's love story is my favorite.

Anonymous

1. It's hard to pick a favorite movie, but the recent Rian Johnson film, Knives Out, has to be one of my all time favorite movies. I'm often disappointed in the predictability of most movies and this one kept me guessing the whole time. We need more movies to subvert our expectations! 2. If I could be any character from a movie or TV show, it would probably be Mark Watney from The Martian. I certainly wouldn't want to be in his situation, but I wish I could have the humor and cool head he keeps while under tremendous pressure.

Niklas

1. My favorite TV series is The Legend of Korra. I was heavily invested in it when it came out and watching the finale back in 2014 will forever be my favorite TV memory. 2. I'd like to step into the shoes of King Joffrey in Game of Thrones, if only to see how quickly I could turn things around by being a decent person and making smarter choices.

Anonymous

1. I think I'd have to say my favourite TV series would be Stargate SG-1. It was the first series I can remember being really into (Literally binged it in roughly two weeks), and it really got me into the sci-fi genre. 2. I think I'd be someone like Commander Riker in Star Trek The Next Generation. Money/food isn't an issue in the Star Trek world, and Riker gets more than enough action and adventure to keep me entertained. Plus I could use the holodeck all day! :)

1. definitely lord of the rings III. i cry every time at the scene sam carries frodo up the volcano 2. harry potter. it would be amazing to be a Wizard

It's hard to say which movie/TV show is my favourite... There are so many that I'll drop everything to watch if they're on TV. Braveheart is one, The Green Mile, LOTR, The Neverending Story (I cry every time Atreyu is in the Swamp of Sadness)... I can't just pick one! As for which character I would like to be... I think Katniss or Tauriel, as I've always wanted to learn archery and woodlore.

Anders Pettersson

Series probably the shield. When it comes to movies the godfather trilogy, Lord of the rings close second. For my favourite character i've gotta go for ser Barristan Selmy from GoT, not the age but he represent so many things i value and believe in. Also he's a bad ass till the end

Anonymous

1. Favorite movie (or trilogy rather) is Lord of the Rings. Musical score is just tremendous! 2. I would love to be Hiccup from the How To Train Your Dragon movies. His humor and mannerisms are absolutely great and he will always stand for himself and his family/friends, even if it terrifies him. He is always willing to see the good in everyone. He also has the coolest pet dragon!!

Anonymous

1. Favourite movie is The Empire Strikes Back. This movie is so good, even 40 years later, that it’s almost ridiculous how good it is. 2. I’d like to be R2D2 because it’s fun to be the character that saves the day, with most people not knowing how heroic he is. As Natalie said, “everybody needs him and everybody loves him. He’s the best”

My Toasty Toast

Hi Natalie, this is so exciting! I’m loving this community you’ve created! My favorite tv show is a bit obscure, it’s called “Black Sails” and it’s a prequel to Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic book “Treasure Island.” The first season starts of a little weak but it evolves into some of the best writing and storytelling I’ve experienced from any medium I’ve seen/read. Bonus for me is that the lead is Dame Maggie Smith’s son, Toby Stephens. As for my favorite character, it’s a tough one but I would say Tony Stark from Iron Man/the Avengers. He’s someone who goes through a lot of growth through the whole series (while maintaining his sense of humor) and, as a pretty damaged person, has difficulty acknowledging and fighting his demons in a way that’s healthy. He’s the person who pretends he doesn’t care but he always fights for those he loves, even if he doesn’t realize it. Wanna wish good luck to everyone participating, this whole community is lovely!

1. My favorite movie(s) is easily The Lord of the Rings. The world is so vast and beautiful, and the story just barely scratches the surface. The musical score is also just as vast and beautiful as the world. 2. If I could be any character, I would probably have to choose Aang from Avatar: The Last Airbender. His ability to remain level-headed despite not always being confident in himself is something that resonates with me. Plus he never loses his goofiness despite the heavy responsibility that comes with being the Avatar.

1) There are so many movies and shows I love that I can't pick one favorite. I'm really into horror but I also love the occasional action movie or show. Tim Burton movies are some of my favorites with Sleepy Hollow being my number 1. Some other favorite movies are Shutter Island, Pulp Fiction, LotR movies, and The Hobbit movies. Some of my favorite shows are American Horror Story, Breaking Bad, Misfits, Umbrella Academy, and Stranger Things. 2) There are so many characters from movies and shows that I would want to be cause they're so cool. But if I had to pick I'd either be Nathan from Misfits cause we have similar personalities and I relate to him a lot or Ichabod Crane from Sleepy Hollow cause I love the world of that movie so much.

Hi, Natalie. Thanks for your channel, I really enjoy it! 1) My favorite movie is Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo (1958), my favorite show is Twin Peaks (I don't think I could choose one over the other). 2) As for character, I think I would choose Amelie Poulain from the movie Amelie--I love her outlook on the world, her kindness, humor and empathy. Her life is so full, despite seeming quite small.

1) The Lord Of The Rings, easy, and it's going to stay that way for the rest of my life I'm sure. If I had to pick a favorite show it would probably be The Crown or Friends. 2) I've never really wanted to be a specific fictional character, but If I had to choose it would be being a student from Hogwarts, cause every day life there must be fantastic. (although now I'm too old to go to Hogwarts but still)

Hey Nat! Congratulations on 1000 patrons as well as the engagement! I love watching movies with my friends at the cinema however now during this pandemic it has been hard to do things with my friends very often and I've been missing it deeply. Finding you on youtube and being able to watch some of my favourite movies with you has helped tremendously with filling that hole in my life so I would just like to thank you. As for my favourite movie there's no movie I get more pleasure from watching than the 2002 dreamworks film Spirit. Sadly often overlooked but ever since I watched it as a child I knew there's something incredibly special about it. My favourite aspect by far is the score and accompanying music, the majesty of the north american wilderness perfectly encapsulated by the epic orchestration. Not a shock considering the composer was none other than Hans Zimmer and featured Bryan Adams as a singer for the songs. Much like Tarzan it isn't a musical but the music is a massive part of what makes the emotional beats so powerful. This film is actually what I believed sparked my passion for music and I tend to credit it as my inspiration and the reason I am who I am today. I am less certain on who I would want to be. My immediate choice goes to Luke Skywalker just because he is the quintessential Jedi and that's something Ive dreamt of being since I first saw the films as a child. I can't really think of anybody else that appeals more so that will stand as my official answer. Thank you for doing what you're doing and again congratulations for everything that's been happening, I'm always looking forward to what we will end up watching next.

1) my favorite movie is probably Empire Strikes Back. That's a tough question and I'm pretty sure it would change based on my mood. 2) I would want to be Tony stark. That iron man armor would just be super fun to have.

Hello Natalie and congratulations on this landmark. I've really enjoyed watching you delve into movies and shows that have really touched me and helped to shape me growing up. My favorite movie? We both know that's a loaded question but it's either Pulp Fiction or The Matrix and a character I would like to be is probobly Po from Kung Fu Panda. Doubts himself every step of the way but in the end there is no secret ingredient. The mind and soul in the right place can be all you need and I take a lot from that. Thanks again for your videos and I'll thank you again when I win ;D

Wow hard question but at the moment if I have to pick just one favorite show it would be Star Trek The Next Generation though if Firefly had run longer it would have had a shot at being #1. As far as what character I would be I would be Q from the already mentioned favorite show of mine Star Trek TNG. The reason why might be a spoiler if you have not seen it so I am not going to say much. I guess I will just say I would want to be Q because it would be interesting.

Off the top of my head, I would say my favorite TV show is a toss-up between “The Haunting of Hill House” and “Dark” (then again, I did subscribe to your Patreon because I saw you were doing “Firefly”). And if I could be any fictional character, I’m going to go with Shawn Spencer from “Psych” because he speaks fluent ‘80s references. Cheers.
