The Mandalorian is a great series. It has a different tone compared to the films, and I think it works really well.

Mandalorian takes place 5 years after Return of the Jedi. species is not Yoda himself, he is just referred to as that because his species name has yet to be revealed =]

E

YEEEEES

Anakin Starkiller

Now your entering the expanded universe of Star Wars

Oo I can't wait to watch this when I get home from work.

NobleSon32

Great reaction! I matched up with your video starting slightly behind and some how ended up slightly ahead. Time is relative for sure. Cant wait for you to finish this season!

Jack the Narrator

The guy with a beard driving the speeder near the beginning was comedian Brian Poeshn. And the blue-skinned guy with gills was played by Horatio Sanz from SNL. The are a LOT of appearances by comedians throughout this series, a couple of them were too jarring to take seriously. Mando is played by Pedro Pascal. He played a popular character on GAME OF THRONES and co-starred in THE GREAT WALL opposite Matt Damon, the Netflix movie TRIPLE FRONTIER and the series NARCOS. He also plays the villain in the upcoming WONDER WOMAN sequel.

This series is fantastic. It's basically a spaghetti western or a Samurai flick set in the Star Wars universe. Tons of fan service, but it's all done well so that if you're not familiar with the references you won't feel like you're missing anything (unlike, say, Rogue One, which is crammed full of fan service at the expense of the story they're supposed to be telling).

It’s not Tatooine, Natalie, but keep your eyes peeled for everyone’s favourite planet soon!

Michael G. Munz

"I bet it's somebody who knows the Force." :D

I can't watch this yet, but I'll catch up when Disney eventually desides to release disney+ in Norway👍😁 Enjoy the series, I've heard awesome things😁

Hi Jeremy! Thanks for your support! I cover everything up to be protected from potential copyright issues and lawsuits. This videos are made for people to watch along with their own copy. So for this, with Disney +

The Madalorians were a race of warriors. The Empire basically took them out. You have seen the madalorian helmet twice so far, Jango and Boba Fett. If you would like to get a little more insight on his fork looking gun, you would have to YouTube the Holiday Specials. Life day is Star Wars version of Christmas, without the religious context.

It's not a baby Yoda. That's just a nickname. It's a baby of the species Yoda is, cause we don't know the name of Yoda's species. The carrier levitates itself.

Gath Bard

Nobody knows who baby Yoda is yet. Yoda was just one individual of his race, this is a baby of the same race, but no one knows who he/she is. Any theory goes. Mandalorian takes place 5 years after Episode VI so he can't be "our" Yoda, unless some kind of reincarnation is involved...but who knows. And yes, I had the same reaction upon seeing Werner Herzog in a Star Wars production.

My Toasty Toast

Loved this reaction! As everyone pointed out, he’s not Baby Yoda but let’s keep calling him that because it’s cuter and rolls off the tongue better than “T H E C H I L D”

Was excited you're watching the Mandalorian. Love your reaction videos and love the Mandalorian (already seen the series several times and always up for another viewing). At first I couldn't believe you haven't heard anything about the Child, but then saw you just didn't know it was from this series. Looking forward to the next episode. Till then, I'll keep trying to stay golden. 😎👍

"Poor guy, he was just doing his job." That could be said of all the people in Alien and Aliens.

Hey Natalie, I think the mic might be a little too bright. Your voice is a little blown out even when you are just talking.

This is a great series and a great reaction. "I have spoken" :D

Kevin Morris

Great video. love the series. I was wondering if you know when you plan to return to the newer Star Wars movies.

I love this series. Can’t wait for more

kazimir lai

cant WAIT to see how you react to the Disney star wars trilogy

Dan Tydeman

This is a good series. Im sad GoT is so long I would love to see you watch that ='(

Glad you’re reacting to this one. Still holding out for Firefly reaction in the future though.

Should I be able to hear the episode audio? I'm not hearing anything.

Jack the Narrator

To avoid copyright the episode audio is muted. You have to sync up the episode with Natalie's reaction. Otherwise, you can watch the YouTube reaction which should be up shortly on Natalie's channel.

Garren Haskell

Oh man this is going to be a treat watching this again. And with our new friend to boot.

Daniel Drew

I know season 2 of the show won't be out for who knows how long, but if any of the various rumors are true about that season, you defo need to watch Star Wars The Clone Wars and then Star Wars Rebels before you would watch the eventual season 2 of Mando. Just food for thought. Though watching those two shows generally would expand everything Star Wars for you and defo be a great idea. : )

Daniel Drew

Also, It's just a baby of Yoda's species, not actually him as a baby. This takes place 8 years after ep 6. We don't know his name yet, but he does have a name. : )

You got yourself a new supporter for this series! Gives me an excuse to watch it all over again and your reaction along with it will be a great addition, looking forward to the rest :D

Please watch this video..... https://youtu.be/Uf8mpHIXZas

Ron

Hey Natalie, it might be a good idea to *not* read the credits before each episode. It could ruin some of the special guest stars (like Werner Herzog) or directors.

Allan Rumberger

I really, really hope that they don't make watching hundreds of hours of cartoons necessary for following what happens on The Mandalorian. I would assume they'll fill you in with necessary details and leave the animated stuff as optional, for those of us who don't care for it.

Baron

Thank you that was such a great video, and it made me think of a movie you should watch if you have not, "Equilibrium" it fell into the "matrix rip off" sub genre for some people, but its an awesome action movie with a great cast. plus they totally shoot the way the droid does in this episode, your comment made me think of it. any way thank you for the great content.
