With any luck, the first book will go live for Kindle and Print on Demand by this weekend or Monday, with hardback going out as soon as I can afford to run off a few test prints to make sure everything looks good.

That's right, First Contact/Behold, Humanity! will have hardback versions too!

I'm really excited.

In other talky talk, the family went to the State Fair last week and fun was had by all. My siblings were all a little startled to see I walk with a cane now because of my busted up leg, but they got used to it. (It did make my sister really sad though)

Watching the kids at Kiddie Land, sitting there watching my family look at tractors and stuff was fun. It was good to touch base with them, it had been a while in some cases since we've seen each other face to face. Seeing grand nieces and great grand nieces is funny (Man, we got old when we weren't looking) and sitting there holding two babies was nice.

Anyway, I'll update here when I hit the publish button and again when it goes live.
