Hey gang,

Will and I went on Struggle Session yesterday to talk about the absurd Spiderman 9/11 comic and some other timely miscellany. Enjoy!

I enjoy the show and make it a point to try to catch everything as it comes up. Yours are welcome voices in this political moment. In the unlikely event Michael And Us are looking for film ideas, may I submit Gabriel Over the White House (WB 1933). A pre-Code film that belongs to a pre-FDR moment and envisions a Fascist US, in which the president is selected by God to fix all the nation's problems. It's ripe for remaking. It's also based on a novel that much like Primary Colors was written by an anonymous Washington insider. Also, the guy who made the terrific doc SPIN, also contributed footage to FEED, a 1992 film about the same stuff, but it does feature a terrific moment where Hillary Clinton meets a homeless person.
