Okay, I've got over half of next month's stories queued up, leaving just three to get done this month, which I'll try my best at. What else is new? Well, besides the crowdfunding comic, we're coming up on halfway through the year now, and looking back, the last price hike was in November last. So, starting next month, there'll be a slight word count decrease in the fic rewards. 

What can I say? Inflation. Costs more to buy Slim Jims, so I have to charge more so I have enough for my usual Slim Jim purchase. However, it won't be too painful.

I'll also be introducing annual memberships, which is where you pay for 12 months worth of pledges all at once, upfront, with a 5% discount. Benefit of this, for me at least, is a certain elasticity. I can write a very long fic without having to worry I'll be cut off in midstream by a commissioner losing interest or running out of funds. 

So if I'm really inspired, I can write the whole thing in however long and have content for twelve months. But on the flippity flop, if I hit some writer's block, I can wait it out a while without stressing because every last update won't be due until the very last month. Also, you'll notice that you get a bit more for a 100 dollar pledge than you would for two fifty dollar pledges, so that's a little more purchasing power there.
