Came here just to say that this NPC (at 19:00) is non other than Bear Mccreary himself. And its funny that the NPC's name is Reab which is just Bear backwards lol

All of those poems actually tell stories of other PlayStation games! That first one you picked up is talking about horizon forbidden west! All of them have a game they are based on. Its a lot of fun to try a figure out which one.

The dauntless shield is actually better for offense. You won't be able to just absorb unblockable attacks, but the shield counter is quite a bit stronger, and you can charge it up with multiplle parry's before doing a counter too and each counter interrupts an enemy attack. In the end it's all personal preference though.

I'm not sure if you've realized by now but the J in most if not all of the names in Norse is pronounced as a Y. So Einherjar is pronounced Eineryar, Or Jotunheim is pronounced Yotunheim. Just a little fun fact.
