yep she is mikes daughter in law from better call saul.. this is one of the great visual mediums that blends the breaking bad universe and the always sunny one.

I'm a big fan of Martin McDonaugh's work, In Bruges might be my favourite of his films with Three Billboards a very close second. Abbie Cornish who played Woody Harrelson's wife is Australian, that's her American accent. Samara Weaving Australian too, she's also Hugo Weaving's niece.

My favorite thing about this movie is how well they balance the comedy and the drama. I feel like the comedy easily could have ruined the tone for the more dramatic moments. Everyone did a fantastic job. Frances Mcdormands and Sam rockwells Oscar wins were well deserved.

Yeah the bag on the head was to hide the gruesomeness of his suicide. As a cop he probably responded to a lot them.

Saw this at TIFF and it won the People's Choice Award that year. I haven't watched it since then and, man, I forgot how outstanding the acting is.

Thanks for doing this reaction. I had no plans to rewatch this film. I had a real problem with the tone when I watched it the first time. Trying to inject humour into the search for justice for a horrific rape and murder did not work for me. That and trying to rehabilitate a virulent racist cop and turning the whole thing into a buddy road trip seemed off to me. I have to say, the second time around I enjoyed it a lot more. Your insights were thoughtful and illuminating, I think your reaction made the film accessible to me. Thanks.

You definitely gotta watch In Bruges now. It's written and directed by the same guy and I would say it's even better than this one.
